I live in a very well to do neighborhood and unfortunately, these guys will look up house values and charge accordingly so while some neighborhoods will get $10k decks, not mine. If I was living in DC suburbs then they'd charge us $50k for the deck. I got the PVC Aztek material with metal posts. The guys did the job in 2 days. I was worried when I saw scuffs on my new deck the day after install, but Luke came to buff them out. With Aztek, you have to be very careful about scratching the deck with furniture so I've yet to put anything on my deck! We rarely eat out there anyways. We're not outdoorsy people.

I called One Time Fencing because we had a gusty wind and my fence blew apart and I lost a panel…read more John the owner showed up charged me 75 to put the panel back on (I have a medical condition where I was not able to put the panel back up myself), seemed like a nice honest guy. I liked him, liked what he said. I never received an estimate from him, texted him, finally I got it (2 weeks later), with the wrong date it was dated before the wind storm. I texted him said it had the wrong date, it was dated before the wind storm, he said just change the date on it. My insurance company wanted an estimate just for the damaged part only. I texted him again. He said send me your email I will send it. Never got it. I texted him again, saying I never got it. My insurance company wants the estimate so they can do what they have to. His response was I sent the email (NO HE DID NOT) and his response was and I quote "find someone else to do it very busy thank you". This guy has a nice personality, tries to connect mentally with people, seems very nice at first, but beware, I would NOT recommend this company to kill an ant let alone put up a fence for you, his personal life seems more important to him than his business does. He doesn't say that to you in person, makes you feel like you are important to his business but you are not, you are just a part of his schmoozing. Look and hire a reputable company.

However after my review, and although it was never said, I arrived home one day to find Amos waiting for me to make things right. I'd like to think that my review had nothing to do with it but it was clear after the work was done, and a comment was made about Yelp, that it had everything to do with my review. Either way, it all worked out in the end. He did the job and I'm happy with the results. While a tad alarmed to come home and find someone unannounced they did send the right gentleman to make things right. I was very upset with this company and for his cold call initially but did end up giving him the job. Why? Because he said all the right things, admitted fault with miscommunication within their company, and made it clear that he would do whatever to make things right. Which included a discount (although I didn't have a prior estimate for comparison so I'm taking his word for it), bumping me up on the schedule, and spending the time with me to gain my trust. Amos is truly an asset to this company, very professional and knowledgeable, not only with the type of work his company does, but also happy to recommend other reputable contractors. Now that the work is done I'm happy I trusted him and am glad he came and made things right. I've had strangers walk by and comment about how nice my railing looks and how identical it is to the original, which was wood and about 95 + years old. The profile, and every last little detail, including the round rosette type molding to the pillars were replicated in vinyl. The color is perfect too. I wasn't home when he came, and actually was surprised by the install date but they left my highly decorated porch (which wasn't prepped in the least for the install) as I left it, clean and without damage. I would use them again for future needs and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them (and have to our neighbors who might do the same thing), only I'd deal with Amos directly.

Dedicated service at a good value (as plumbers go...;-)…read more Needed the kitchen sink faucet set replaced after some years of service. Moen provided a FULL warranty replacement set (Moen rocks!) and Dominic the M&M guy installed this handily for a reasonable charge. Some months later there was an internal issue with this part as well as a number of house plumbing issues that I figured to address at the same time. Brandon and his other brother Brandon set about these other issues but noted that the sink needed a specific Moen replacement part. Meanwhile, they tackled the house pressure regulator, which had been a real challenge for a prior plumber for some reason. Brandon measured the outside pressure and matched this up so our showers were still able to provide the same oomph. This was the root problem to our "water heater issue" - which included relief valve output due to surges. Unfortunately, we still had to buy/install a new overflow bladder. At my request, they also checked all the valves under the sinks and toilets for operation and leaks to see if they needed their packing adjusted or to be replaced. Note: After years of non-use, the typical valve used has packing that can dry and pull back leading to a leak. You can simply tighten up the screw on the front to tighten the packing. If you do replace this valve - go to a better quality ball valve design choice. We also had a significant leak in one of the exterior hose valves - had these replaced with the newer long-valve design that places the shut-off point internal to the house rather than right at the handle. We had them switch out the other one to this, as this will reduce the chance of cracked pipes (and possibly a very soggy cellar) from freezing. Dominic returned and facilitated communications with Moen and eventually did a re-installation. Moen provided an assembly and eventually express shipped a WHOLE NEW faucet set to get this problem solved. M&M was kind enough to significantly discount the charges on the faucet troubleshooting and re-replacement.

So many get that wrong but this company absolutely gets it right. Save yourself the time and energy with calling a bunch of roofing companies and hoping they respond or show up. Theses guys show up their trucks and equipment are clean, the look professional and their knowledge is exceptional and on top of that a reasonable cost that fit the need and over all great value. Once they heard the electric company would only fix a certain portion they returned to my home and fixed the entire wiring on the outside of my home (even though they planned to come the next day) while the electric company was here as well.
