Our roof was eventually replaced after an anxiety driven process of securing a major home…read moreimprovement necessity. Our project was labor intensive as it needed the removal of 2 layers of old shingles with the home being redecked. My wife and I decided to go with the 1/2 inch plywood over the osb for the redecking with my understanding that plywood works better with humidity long term. We also decided on the GAF Timberline UHDZ over the HDZ because of the better warranty, increased impact resistance and a slightly better look. Both the plywood and the 20% heavier UHDZ shingles were a minimal up charge. Entrust was the only company of 3 which addressed the intake the roof needs for proper circulation. Prior to the roof replacement we were having higher than healthy roof humidity. Long vertical intakes were installed at the bottom edges to match the new peak outlets. Oscar and some of his team came back out to fix a couple more issues. I have found Oscar's personality to be warm and friendly. Oscar also prayed with my wife and I in our back yard. His wife Lauren has been nice to talk with on the phone.I would definitely recommend this company with everything they did and what I've learned about roofing during the process. One big project done, many little projects yet to do.

Our gutters were falling off our house and anytime it rained, no matter how little, our basement…read morewould get water. We called Mater Roofers and they were there the next day to inspect them and give us a quote. Our house has had a few additions so it has really weird gutters and a lot of downspouts. It is also surrounded my pine trees so getting gutter guards was an absolute must as well. They gave us a quote and it was very reasonable for the amount we would need replaced and the labor to do it. It did take them three weeks to get all the material and schedule the install. They showed up with 5 guys and had all the gutter taken off and replaced with full gutter guards in 5 hours. It was very impressive. They had someone come out a few days later to do the final inspection. We also waited until it rained to let them know if everything was working properly. Since we've had them replaced, we have not had any water in our basement. The only thing we didn't love is they were not very careful during the install. They completely trampled our flower beds. I would understand if a few were to get stepped on, but yearly every flower was smashed and killed. They also left a nail from the old gutters on our driveway. I'm sure this was just something they overlooked, but if we didn't see that it could have caused some real damage.

I was happy with how it turned out, so when the recent storms caused damage to my property, I called them again for roof and siding repairs. The current work is still underway, but my experience with the shed repair gave me confidence in hiring them again. I really appreciated the work they did last year and look forward to seeing these repairs finished.

The HVAC company in turn blamed this company who repeatedly denied any responsibility for paying for the repairs. The seller advertised that the house I had just purchased had a new roof, which only became clear to me was false after I experienced a leak just a few hours after closing. Not getting very far with the seller about this issue for over a week, I contacted AlphaOne. Jarrod came out to my house within 24 hours, performed an extremely thorough inspection, including taking numerous photos, and provided me with a detailed report a couple of days later. Well, I sent that report to the seller, which included Jarrod's assessment that the roof ranged in age from approximately 10-17 years old. Jarrod drew his conclusions from a visual inspection, as well as consulting satellite imagery and historical photos of the house. Within days of my forwarding the report to the seller, an agreement was made, in principle that they would pay for a complete tear off and replacement of my roof. I cannot express how impressed with and appreciative I am of Jarrod's skill level, professionalism, and extraordinary turn-around efforts during what was an amazingly stressful time period for me. That is why AlphaOne Exteriors continues to be my first call whenever I have any issues regarding my house; why they receive my highest recommendation!!
