I have had chronic back pain for years. I thought it was just normal for a guy in my mid 30s…read more Then I took a fall a few months ago and the pain got worse and I decided to ask my physician for advice. He told me there weren't many good options, but that he'd recommend trying physical therapy rather than surgery. I found a physical therapist at Athletico. I went 3 times a week for a month. My back just got worse and worse. The pain expanded to my neck. Finally my fiancé went on line and found Dr. Tony. I heeded her advice and called him. He heard how much pain I was in and said he'd find a way to get me in despite his busy schedule. The next day, after a very short wait (less than 5 minutes), I met Dr. Tony. By this point I had sharp pain in my mid-back and had very limited mobility in my neck. When I left, I had much better mobility in my neck. After the next session, I was back to close to 100% mobility in my neck. So then we went to work on my back. And now, not quite a month later: I've felt steady progress and feel better than I've felt in months. The exercises he gave me in some cases were the exact opposite of stretches the Athletico PT had given me. Dr. Tony explains things clearly and never treated me with 'kid gloves' like previous PTs. I told Dr. Tony my goal was to be pain free by my wedding day this spring. We're well on our way to beating that goal. I've thought a lot about why Dr. Tony helped me so much where the PTs at Athletico failed. More knowledge: certainly. Different techniques: yes. Dr. Tony mixes soft tissue work with Chiropractic adjustments in addition to exercises to build strength. But more than anything else: It's clear that Dr. Tony and his staff truly care about my well-being and happiness. They want me to be pain free. They want me to no longer need them! That's a far cry from the dollar signs I saw in the eyes of the folks at the bigger PT business. I cannot recommend Dr Tony highly enough. I'm grateful my fiancé found him on YELP and that other wrote reviews that led me to give him a call. The least I can do is help others in the same situation I was in. Dr Tony's the best.

I am seeing him twice week and it is already better, about 80-90% back to normal! He is even very understanding. When I started seeing Dr. Kaminski I had a leased car that had miles racking up and about to be turned in soon. Unfortunately Dr. K's office is out of my way from work to home, so I had to stop going. But about a week later I bought myself a birthday present--a new car! I was finally able to start getting my back fixed up again, which was good because in that week it got very, very bad. I was very happy to start going back. I will gladly recommend him to anyone with back problems.

His practice is fully equipped (including ultrasound and STEM therapy), and he takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to care. He's personable, intelligent, and explains everything clearly so I actually understand what's going on with my body. I especially appreciate how Robinson tailors his adjustment techniques to each patient's preferences and training needs. When I've picked up minor muscle strains from strength work, he's made sure I got the right care with more frequent visits when needed. He's been excellent for both injury management and maintaining my overall spine health during marathon training. Highly recommend if you want someone knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping you move and feel better.

I wasn't sure…read moreif my jaw was dislocating or what was going on, but I also had nausea, dizziness, headaches, and constant fatigue. I just felt awful. Dr. G was kind and supportive from the start. He gave me hope but was also realistic about the process. We started working together twice a week doing facial manipulation, intraoral work, dry needling, and some adjustments. Within a couple of weeks, I started to feel better. Now, a few months in, I feel like a completely different person. I don't feel sick all the time anymore, my headaches have improved, and the jaw pain has decreased significantly. It's been such a positive and healing experience. Dr. G is incredibly hard-working and always makes time to fit you in. I'm so grateful he was recommended to me and would 100% recommend him to anyone dealing with TMJ issues, looking for dry needling, or in need of a skilled chiropractor.

When I first came to Serene Chiropractic, I was in excruciating pain. I'd fallen on a sheet of…read moreblack ice as I exited the building where I worked two years ago. In the air I went landing squarely on my right side. At first I thought I was fine. I had pain but thought it would go away when the bruises went away. I was so wrong. The pain was there on and off, and then it was always there. It was the kind of pain that I learned to live with. I made adjustments around it. I slept only on my back with extra pillows in bed to prop up my legs. I had pillows tucked on either side of me so I would not turn over during the night because some sleep positions caused more pain than others. (My husband did not like that). Special pillows when I sat in chairs as firm chairs were unforgiving and caused sciatica pain. I had a special pillow for my chair at the dinner table. I even had a pillow for my lower back while driving. I could not stand for long periods of time. I could not bend down for fear of the shooting pain while getting up. I could not clean or carry moderately heavy things. Forget about exercising or taking long walks. If I did, I knew I would pay dearly for it less than an hour later. The changes I made in my life to accommodate pain were ridiculous. One Sunday evening while I was going through my "survival system", my husband said, "I've had it! You're going to get you back fixed. On a Sunday night, he made an online appointment through yelp for Serene Chiropractic. And Monday morning at 8:00 am someone from Serene called me and the rest is history. One day, about 3 to 4 weeks into my care I had a very shocking realization, I was no longer in pain!!! My husband began to notice I moved faster without wincing in pain. I could grocery shopping, and go for walks. I had no pain!!! My quality of life improved tremendously. My daughter even told me I stand differently...straighter and taller. She said I did not stand 'old' anymore. Ha! Dr. Sojitra is an excellent doctor!!! He helped me understand how the fall had taken my spine out of alignment, compressed the nerves in my spine, tilted my pelvis, as well as, the ways my body was trying to tell me it needed help. My spine was affected by the fall, my nerves, muscles, and my whole body suffered as a result. He put me on a intensive 3 month treatment plan to address my situation. I can truly say life is better without the pain.
