I decided to sit at the bar to free up their tables and went with their absinthe option. It was perfectly executed and served traditionally. Either way, it was very enjoyable. Very cute place. Drink was delicious. Cashews were tasty. Would definitely recommend a pop in here if you're looking to grab a drink in a snack.

Everywhere I travel, I seek out Tiki bars. On a recent trip to Europe I wasn't surprised to find…read moredecent places in London or Paris, but had low expectations for Prague. To my surprise, Tiki Taki is a fantastic bar with delicious drinks, a great bartender (Daniel), lots of ephemera, an entertaining mix of customers and a quirky origin story. I went on a Sunday night and there were about ten other customers. Their bar back was new, and wasn't able to answer my questions, but the bartender Daniel quickly came around and helped me customize a Zombie. It was well balanced with fresh ingredients and decent rums. I also had a Suffering Bastard which was more gingery than I'm used to, but it was quite tasty. It was like a Dark & Stormy with more character. Lastly, Daniel graciously let me order off menu and made a Navy Grog. He hadn't made one before, but it came out okay and I appreciated him making the effort. The owner Jason and his girlfriend were there when I visited. Jason was friendly and hospitable, sharing the story of how he created his first home tiki bar and eventually opening his shop in Prague. They don't have their own mugs, but serve some drinks out of other bars' mugs which is fun. It'd be great if they eventually make their own though. I really wanted a memento of the visit. The bar itself is well and thoroughly decorated with mostly typical Tiki decorations. lots of bamboo, paintings, tikis, tapestries and the like. One stand out is the Pac Man machine embedded in a barrel in the corner of the bar. It'd dark and has the vibe of a dive-y but thoughtful tiki bar -- my favorite kind. If you like bars like Tiki Ti or Forbidden Island, you'll feel at home in Tiki Taki. Lastly, the other patrons were a mix of quiet tourists and local Czechs who had no idea what a tiki bar was and were just ordering beers. No one was rowdy or rude, and I found it fun to watch them try to figure the place out over a pint of Pilsner Urquell. The menu even has a 128 word paragraph about Tiki Bar etiquette in both English and Czech. So I imagine the mellow atmosphere I experienced isn't always what you get there. But it think this makes it unique and fun. I had a great time visiting here and will definitely make a trip back if I'm ever in Prague again. Mahalo Daniel and Jason!

The All About Ece and Spank My Monkey were best. Both came in nice Tiki mugs too. Not high Standards but nice drinks. The other two were different. Lawa Flow was the better one, but compared to the first pretty flat. Pina Colada was worst, with a taste of a pre mixed drink, too much cream and cheap Barcadi. We decided to stop right after.

Before I go into the gist of the menus and staff.... I do need to say the best espresso I've also had thus far - not brewed too hot and had wonderful light earth/stone fruit notes. Okay, so they give you a little "fob" with your menu. Some may think this like an ordering number or tracker etc. lol nope - turn it on and explore baby! The server drops off dark felt bound drink menus and then gives little Black light flashlights. As you open the menu, you're greeted with white writing on black pages with three flavor profiles per drink. The backlight revels more about your cocktail of choice based on a flavor profile. A lot of the drinks seem cool and many have a very dark liquor profile. The drinks are a little pricy-as expected in a handcrafted speakeasy very little seating. Overall, a really cool place that didn't seem very touristy, but made our experience extra special as it felt like a spot only the locals knew. Drinks are made strong, so pick your profile with intention.

If you don't want to buy a drink but just want to enjoy the views, you can for a fee. If not, admission is included with your drink purchase. Once you buy a drink you can sit anywhere, inside or out--obviously considering there is a spot available as when we got here it filled up fast. There is an inside section with about 10ish tables, or an outdoor terrance with some high tops and couches wrapping around. The view from outside is breathtaking and there's really no obstructions so photos are great. The inside is very cozy especially during the winter season with glass windows and candles at each table. I ordered the pornstar martini and my boyfriend got the aperol spritz. My martini was delicious--fruity, sweet, and easy to sip on. It's simple and intimate but the ambiance and views are with it. Accessible by train as well.

They serve different snacks and food, but my friend and I opted to stick with drinks. They have pretty extensive descriptions for all the cocktails, even labeling if they are strong or medium strong. The drinks that I had were both considered "medium-strong" but they tasted more fruity and syrup-y than natural and alcoholic. I liked the creativity of the drinks though and the presentation was beautiful. This is definitely a chill spot to grab a few drinks - has a very comfortable vibe. Would recommend!
