If I could give no stars I would This place is disgusting they sold me a DIRTY USED apple peeler. I contacted kohls on FB I told them I was upset and I have every right to be I paid full price for a USED PRODUCT. I told them I had to use it in a timely manner they were already closed so I washed it picked all the dried up apple off of it and used it. they told me to return it to the store. I already used it and cleaned it that's not the issue the issue is this store is allowing DIRTY PRODUCTS TO BE SOLD AS NEW. Even the instructions were stained!!!!!!! read more

Let me start off my saying that this is one of the best organized Kohls that I've been too. That is the only positive I can offer and I'm not being too critical here. I was in the area and decided to stop at this location to use Kohls cash that I racked up from an online purchase. The reason I give it 2 stars is although it was the best organized (least messy) Kohls I've been too of the 3 in the area, it also was the most empty. Literally every piece of clothing I was interested in was missing in most of the desired sizes for me it was L or 32 waist product. Jogging pants in that size, gone. Their Tek Gear line was bear. When I gave up on myself and decided to use the Kohls cash for my wife for Christmas they had nothing in her size for active wear (she is a dance teacher). This is IN SEASON stuff we are talking about and it was missing. When I went to checkout the the associate assigned to a register was wondering off to find a size for a woman on the display but not available. Great customer service BUT not when the lines are long as it is. They need some of other members of the staff to be handling those to keep the flow for checkout. I cant just blame this store though as this is one of the downfall of my Kohls experience and it has happened even prior to COVID. I left after 45 minutes of looking with something that I'm not sure if my wife will like but it was the best i could find for what was available for the size. read more

This particular Kohls is very clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. Not once did I have a bad visit here . The customer service desk is upfront near the registers and they are quick with your exchanges and on-line pick up. The toy section is a bit crowded and disorganized,but the prices are better then some chain toy stores . Great selection on Nike and Adidas in the men's/boys dept. and J-Lo clothing in the woman's dept. are a few of the brands they carry. read more

the wallingford Kohl's is pretty big. the only reason we went here was i needed some new pants and the old navy down the street was closed due to snow on the roof. I didnt get any pants here. place was packed and only one register was open. i saw like 20 people stocking shelves and only one person ringing out customers. yay. read more

Stopped in prepared to buy several ladies pants/tops. Center pathways clean and gleaming. Then, went to the women's clothing department. What a mess. Summer capri-length pants mixed in with fall/winter styles. Clothes all over the floor. Size tags on hangers did not match up with clothing on hanger; had to search each/every item for the sewn in tag to determine size. Over merchandised to the point where you could not even view what was on the rack let alone manipulate your cart among the over-crowded racks. Moved on to housewares; better. Bought towels for a gift. Checkout: be prepared to wait and wait. Cashier called 3 times for help-no response. When I finally got my turn, cashier misquoted cost of towels. Requested manager to only give feedback. She could not have been less responsive. Not a nice store. read more

This location has the best selection of kids clothing! The boys department is the largest around. I was able to find everything and then some for my son to go back to school. It's clean, well organized and the staff are very nice. I also took a gander at the women's dept and I was able to find a few cute pieces for myself. read more

Considering this is on the outskirts of Meriden, this is a pretty nice deparment store. First impression was that it was clean, large, and well maintained. The parking lot is a decent enough size for the size of the store. Prices are the same as every other Kohls. More than Walmart, but less than a specialty store. They have clothing, appliances, and little toys for Christmas. Again as in all my other route 5 reviews, being on route 5 makes this parking lot a little tough to get into and out of. Not much more can be said. If you know Kohls, this is not a bad one to visit. read more

This is always a nice store to go to- it is my default Kohls (please see my review on the Kohl's in Hamden and why you should avoid at ALL COSTS) . It is always clean, staff is exceptionally friendly and they will help you navigate the store if there is a particular thing you are searching for. I love their selection of ornaments during the holiday's they have some really great discounts on some creative ones you can buy every year. I also am giving them an extra star, just because they just re-painted their crosswalks (I was hit in a crosswalk 2 yrs ago) so that is important to me that people can SEE the cross walk!!! I like this store and thanks for the Kohl's Cash..and no thanks for the 10000000000 time, I do not want a Kohl's charge :D read more

I love the selection here, prices tend to be marked up and reduced, but that's ok, they are still where they should be with the reductions. The only gripe I have is that there is always some employee, be it on the floor, or at the register, who is trying to get you to open a Kohl's charge. I realize they offer a discount to apply, but good grief, just put up a sign. I have gotten to the point that I somewhat dread checking out because of this. Last visit, I think the girl at the register actually got aggravated with me when I told her (twice) that I was not interested. Maybe a couple of self checkouts would be great! read more

Connie at this location was terrible. I bout $50 worth of clothes to get $10 cash back. I then went a week later and exchanged one of the items for a larger size (mom's birthday present) and in doing so they took away my $10 kohl's cash. I am furious about the matter. Kohl's is my favorite store, I spend hundreds of dollars there, I have a kohl's charge card. I feel betrayed. read more

The location is big, and there's a lot to shop from. My problem in particular is with the return clerk, Susan. She was so condescending explaining the Kohl's Cash return policy in a tone that was disrespectful. It seemed like she thought I was incompetent, when the same could be said for her, because I knew what I meant to ask! read more
