I love shopping at Kohl's, It's one of my favorite stores, especially picking through the seasonal items. I went in to spend some Kohl's cash That was going to expire today and I just wanted to say that the young lady who checked me out was so friendly and fun! She helped me find a coupon that I didn't realize I had on my app, which I totally appreciated and ended up getting two of my items because of the excellent deal. I am not quite sure the racing behind this, but there are two entrances to this store. They have one closed, for no "apparent" reason. Just a sign directing you to the next door. The odd thing is, the "Closed" door is the only one with a proper Handicap assist for the door. (the little button that safely opened the door for those who need the assistance... which at times could be me!). This may seem like a minor inconvenience, but it is also an ADA Violation! Businesses have been fined or even shut down for such violations. So... Why is this door closed and locked. Hmm, here's another thought. If it is "locked" is that now a Fire Code Violation? read more

She was so personable and friendly. You don't see people like that too often anymore. Genuine kindness and service with a smile. She was also very efficient. Sierra, team leader or assistant manager of some sort was unwilling to make any consideration for people that were unnecessarily standing in line for nearly 20 minutes because one customer couldn't get her credit card to work and also then couldn't find a tag on a backpack to scan. Finally, Sierra opened an additional cash register and it took me less than 30 seconds to check out. She should have done that way earlier. If you think that not taking care of customers for your mistakes will fly, you are wrong. You will be named. Have had issues related to long wait times to check out before, too. The WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I explained to the employee what I was looking for in the jewelry, meaning, I didn't want something cheap. So when she comes back after looking in the Lauren Conrad section I explained how I wanted something out of the case to which she said 'well did you see it in the case? Then we don't have it'. Customer Service dept was terrible. They have 2 lines but 1 cashier and cashier ask who's next? We look at each other and don't know. I didn't know we are suppose to keep track who's there first. They don't know to alternate the line if u have 1 cashier. Makes no sense to do 2 lines when you don't know how to run it. The line was getting so long she decided 10 mins later to call for back up cashier. Since they do amazon return there it's been terrible. read more

I came from Georgia to visit my family here in Tulare County, stopped by this Kohls and I don't know how they train their employees as far as customer service goes, but they need to do MUCH better than what I experienced. My mother and I wanted to get a few jewelry pieces and when it came time for me to check out at the jewelry stand, this associate by the name of Tiffany was disgusting. While I stood there waiting to be greeted, she should there just fiddling her thumbs. I get it, southern hospitality isn't everywhere, but you still have to know how to treat your customers regardless. I asked if she was available and she closed her eyes and nodded her head in a yes response, but no words, nothing. I'm actually moving back to the valley and honestly this was just unacceptable. I absolutely love going to this store! Every time I go shopping there I am always happily greeted at the entrance by the employees and if I ever have any questions they quickly answer them and help with anything I need help with. I went for a pair of black jeans. I forgot my glasses, asked an associate for help just to see if they had my size. She would not walk less than five yards to help. She called the associate for the men's dept. She or he never came. I approached the same associate as before along with another manager type, he also wanted to call for the other associate rather than walk 5 yards to help I will never return to the store. I love the clothing I just don't like the wait! There is always a long line and only two people at the register. But I tolerate it because I love the clothes and the sales. However this last time I was there, as soon as I walked in there was a young woman sitting there cussing & saying 'I'm off the fucking clock, you deal with this shit' the other girl who she was talking to behind the register was laughing. I returned something with my original receipt, had the card I used, and for some reason they gave me Kohl's cash instead of a refund!! I had bought the item online just a mere week and a half ago. Oh, I forgot to mention it took 45 minutes just to wait in line. Why on earth would I want Kohl's cash??? The supervisor couldn't void it and said I could try to have corporate mail me a check. Customer service department doesn't explain policy for returns/exchanges. Resulted in me getting in line 3x! I wanted an EXCHANGE not a return but with the exchange policy it was impossible as there was no selection for the brand I had. A return would've been less than half of what I paid. No resolution! The KOHL'S cash isn't very beneficial if you have a return or exchange. After spending over 500.00 this month I'm very disappointed and won't be shopping there next Christmas. read more

I recently came into kohls knowing usually they don't carry my shoe size but I had kohls cash (which is awesome) so I thought I would try anyways. What seemed like the supervisor or leader of the shoe department Corrina, was a GREAT help! She helped me find a few shoes in my size and helped me order the ones I really wanted online through the store.
