Great Service and Good Prices Dropped by the pick up a pair of ear rings for my niece who is coming in town for her Birthday. Nothing fancy but wanted to give her a relatively nice set of ear rings for her Birthday and I've been so swamped, did not have time to do much shopping. I was in Kohl's on Saturday and looked at the Jewelry counter and they had exactly what I wanted and to make it better, they were on sale and they gave me an extra discount. In the end, I got a nice set of ear rings for about 1/3 of the original price and a young lady on her 15th Birthday was thrilled. Great service in this department. read more

Used to be in regularly for fancy shirts and ties and casual pants about 20-25 pounds/years ago, now it's just housewares and beddings and things like that when the economy shops don't have the brand-quality I'm looking for. There's a nice selection of sheets and comforters and towels and small kitchen appliances at various price points but shopping here can get spendy fast. However, with a little luck and a little planning a person can make out alright; sales can run 40% off and sometimes more when you get bongo bucks . House brands in clothing can save some scratch without giving up too much fashion in men's wear. Used to have bunches of Garcia ties, not so much anymore; not sure if it's a Mooresville thing, NC, or if the line has just run it's course. In any case I'm kinda bummed about it. read more

Customer service is consistently terrible, yet they're not fixing it. I called and politely asked if they knew if my Amazon return (they accept Amazon returns daily, so thought this was a reasonable question) would be accepted by them on the last day I was given, and before I could finish, the associate abruptly cuts me off, and begins talking to me like I'm an idiot, saying "we're NOT AMAZON..." and continued by going on, sarcastically rambling about information that was unnecessary, so again nicely, "I realize you're not Amazon, I just need to know if my return will be accepted." Aaaand again, was rude. So I'm just going to hope it's accepted. I'm a mom, life's busy, and did not have time to bring this any sooner. I was very polite, and even if I had asked a dumb, logical question that didn't make sense to her, she could have politely told me she was unsure. This Kohls, and sadly most, are known for their meh-bad customer service, and not sure why they continue to allow it. It makes me, and many others, not want to shop there. I'm not a huge shopper of Kohl's; however, occasionally, I will check them out to see what's new. I do like their brands, particularly Simply Vera Wang, Cephalon, and Sonoma. From time to time, their housewares section of photo frames & "knick knacks" will catch my eye. This location stays steady with customers. Clearly they are shopping for the buys & not so much the customer service. The times I have purchased things, the cashiers aren't very friendly & efficient. I love that Kohl's is a huge supporter of children's issues & will have neat item tie ins for charities. read more

Doing some shopping for an upcoming vacation. Hubby needed some dress shirts for a few formal dinners we plan on having. I'd never been over into the men's section of Kohl's before but they had a lot of nice clothing. The quality seemed pretty good on most of the shirts as well. We hit up clearance and was able to get 3 dress shirts (retail $150+) for $28. Just goes to show mark up on clothes is insane in the membrane. Check out was easy peasy. There was 3 registers open and at the time we were in line, a 4th was opening. The check out lady was friendly, offered us a Kohl's card (which we declined) and we were all done! Overall if you want some decent clothes, they have them. Want to save some money, hit up clearance. Want more savings at your next visit? You'll get some Kohl's cash for that! read more

Cons: It appears that employee turnover is high at this Kohl's. (It could be that I don't shop here often enough / or just that I don't encounter trained employees.) Checkout always takes a while. Pros: The store carries familiar brands..Croft & Barrow, Simply Vera by Vera Wang, Nike, etc. They always have deals and have great hours. Kohl's is one of those places where its a hit or miss, depending on the day. read more

I went online to buy three items, but the site said they were at this location. So I drove 35 miles to purchase these items in store, and guess what? They don't have them. Not only did they not have them, but couldn't find anyone in that location to ask. So, I ended up buying them off the site and had to pay outrageous shipping charges instead. I highly don't recommend this store and if I could leave feedback for the website, I would say don't trust that either. read more

These winners at Kohl's forgot to give me back my license when they checked it for a purchase and then proceeded to cut it up 2 days later even when I called 1 day after the purchase when i realized I didn't have it. Didn't even bother to compensate me other than offer coupons for 10% off future purchases. A duplicate license cost $10 and now I have to drive out of state to a wedding with a cut up taped together license. Awesome. Definitely wont be coming back and ill be telling everyone i can about this. This was NOT my fault at all. read more

This used to be a great store to shop, the quality of clothing has gone downhill and not worth wasting your money on. Shrinks up first wash to being unwearable again, falls apart and gets holes in it from cheap undesirable fabric used. Save your money. The deals really aren't deals anymore, all name brands are excluded now and if you use kohl's cash you can't use discount. They say you are using free money gifted to you, however there is nothing free about as you must spend to receive. That is not free !!!!! So good luck to all of you, and know that whatever you do realize they charge you the highest interest rates so....show me the savings. read more

I will never shop at Kohl's again!! I have spent thousands of dollars in this store since I moved to Mooresville a couple years ago. I have 2 little girls and a mother who can't say no to a sale. My first complaint is on the quality of the clothes. The little girl outfits that come with a top and bottom are super cute, but the pants always seem to fade and look terrible after just a few washes. I use a gentle detergent, cold water and typically hang clothes to dry. Sorry, this is way too much work for kids clothes that are outgrown in 6 months. I have hand-me-downs from my oldest daughter that were purchased at places like Belk, Macys, even JP Penny's that look better then new clothes from Kohl's after 2 washes. When I first started to shop at Kohl's a couple years ago I didn't notice this trend in fading and poor quality. The final straw was when I shopped there a couple weeks ago. I spent several hundred dollars in clothes for my girls. The girl at the cash register kept trying to talk me into a credit card even though I said no several times. She tallied everything up and calculated it based on the amount I would save with a Kohl's card. She said "oh its easy we can do it right here". Well I know I shouldn't have, but I said yes and then filled out the information at the register. Well it was wasn't declined but it did not go through. The girl told me that they needed to ask me additional questions. Next thing I know I get a letter stating they need me to send them income verification for the past 2 years. I have a credit score of 803, and between my husband and I we make enough that this should not have been a problem. That's a bunch of crap in my opinion. So since I did not feel like digging up 2 years of income history and sending it to them it is now an inquiry on my credit report, and there is no removing it. The people at Kohl's credit were completely not helpful and basically did not give a crap that this will be on my report. I proceeded to call the store and the manager is was also not helpful, she kept saying if there is one thing that she would change is Kohl's credit card policy. I told her that maybe instead of pushing credit cards all the time they should concentrate on customer service. Like I said... I will not be shopping there again. read more

I like Kohl's!!! As a careful shopper, one needs to be careful and compare prices! Many things at Kohl's are higher in price, even with coupons!! However, with that said, the sales are great and the coupons and cash rewards are a wonderful bonus! read more

When you sign up for e-mails they send you great coupons and all-day shopping passes. I love their clothes and they have something for everyone. The brand "Jumping Beans" has some great prices for kids clothes. They also have some great clearance sales both in-store and online. read more
