Kohls in general is wondering why they're on the verge on bankruptcy and their ceo can't figure out that locking up items in the back of the store deters business. I was going to get $400 of clothing here but then noticed it was all locked up. No customer service call buttons nearby so only option was to go to front doors to ask someone to unlock. At that point, I saw the line to the registers and the front doors, so I left and went to Dicks Sporting goods next door. Where nothing is locked up! read more

I think its an awesome place to shop. I have been nice to the staff and they are nice back. The shop is usually in disarray but the traffic is heavy and they do look understaffed. Really live having free Amazon returns here and getting a coupon after! read more

I bought a watch here a few years ago and came to get a new battery for it. They told me they did not have the battery in stock so I ended up buying a new watch. I asked the lady to shorten it and she told me she didn't know how and had to wait for another associate. So this other lady comes and she didn't even try to shorten it. I have seen a few reviews that are unfavorable with Kohls. I have to say that my shopping experiences at this store have been both pleasant and VERY favorable. The staff has been helpful and I have found the deals and sales and those awesome Kohls cash to be just great. If I could give less than one star I would. I'm in the middle of a hospital injury. I am trying to make arrangements on an order prior to an injury that caused this. "What can I do to help you in whatever way I can help you?". I said it's a n emergency & I am not able to pick up my items. I will pay to have them shipped or sent courier. Answer: No. 2. I was told they were able to be shipped from the website. That was actually not true. 3. I asked for someone that can help other than the manager I spoke to... I was told no one else can help me ever. That would also be not true as the Store Mgr is available EVENTUALLY. 4. I had forgotten I had a Kohl's Card for YEARS that my Mom insisted was worth it & I don't see it as such except I did buy a vacuum. I explained mess and I had bought a few other things with Kohl's Cash as a result (which can be a scam if not used 'smartly' imo) therefore I need my card canceled. The manager was unable to do so, unable to transfer and I was unable to write. I DID explain the announcement of "HOW can I go OUT OF MY WAY to assist YOU tonight" seemed a misnomer as I lay here. I do not want to shop Amazon, but their customer service is better and so is their prices for Kohl's products & they stand by them. I do not want to see retail stores go out of business. Physical locations need to stay. But you have to make it worth it - a customer in the hospital /with an emergency qualifies. You lost a decades long customer - Worse I wish I would've bought the vacuum through Amazon and never have dealt with you. I will never go back to this place again. Not only could I hear and see the cameras follow me as I was being profiled but the cashier was disrespectful and would not allow me to use my wife's Kohl's cash. She insinuated I was being watched because of what I was carrying which wasn't more than $50 and i doubt the women with more than that wasn't getting the same treatment. read more

Honestly most of what kohl's sells is extremely overpriced compared what other retailers offer. You'd be better off shopping at an outlet. Staff aren't extremely friendly but do look out for you if you need help. Every time I do see an item here I like I always google it and am able to find it elsewhere for cheaper. Coupons and kohl's cash aren't particularly useful unless you plan on spending a ton of money in the store. read more

I love kohl's don't get we wrong. I've spend thousands of dollars here over the past 2 years. I am a bigger gentleman. 5' 10" 330 pounds. I measure 70 inch shoulders and am only comfortable in a 3X shirt. Over the years I have had to see the selection of Big and Tall slowly dwindle away. I'm just distraught because I'm trying to shop locally and support the business in my area as we slowly shift to an entirely online world. What am I suppose to do when my hand is forced to shop online to find anything in any brand. I walked the store twice and saw 2 dress shirts about an XL In the whole place. I asked for help and received none except being pointed to the area I was already in. I'm an athlete in my field and could not find any athletic brand apparel either. I'm upset for being forced to shop online instead of going to the store to see the items. I don't just speak for myself I can't be the only one who is upset at this. We need to resolve this issue, kohl's use to be more viable than socks and underwear and two years ago I would have agreed. But today kohls lost my support. I will not be coming back unless I am reached out to and we can resolve this issue. read more

I usually shop online and search for discount items at Kohl's. It is my favorite place to buy clothes. They have fantastic name brand merchandise at discount prices. They also give you a lot of discounts and cash back on top of the sales prices if you sign up for email offers. If I need to return or exchange, I go to the Kohl's store, and occasionally shop in the store. It is always neat and clean. The people are always friendly and helpful. read more

Yikes! The first time I went to this location was 2 weeks ago and I got there shortly after they opened at 9:00 a.m. I noticed this location was in disarray. There were clothes, purses, etc thrown all about and not neatly folded/put away. Employees were not friendly and inviting as they were busy talking about not having power and how they had to put their make up on in the dark (I believe this was a manager complaining about this) so I walked further into the store and was looking at fragrances when the employee behind the jewelry counter was complaining to another employee about her schedule and other employees who were"lazy" and expected unrealistic things. No employees at this location asked if they could help or offered assistance. They all acted like they were upset they were there so needless to say I couldn't get out of their fast enough. Went to Kohls a week later near Indianapolis and found the store to be well stocked and I earned Kohls cash when making a purchase there. A week later I went to the Kohls in Mishawaka again to purchase an artificial Christmas Tree and use my Kohls Cash and other coupons and had a horrible experience again. The store was crowded early in the morning and I went back to the trees and only found 1 tree available on the floor even though the digital display showed prices for several trees. Couldn't find an employee in this are so went looking for one found one who tried to help but couldn't so got someone who was supposed to be working in that section. Employee had no idea which trees were in stock and why all the trees were listed on the digital display. A manager was supposed to be helping as well but soon lost her because she felt another customer needed more help than I did even though I was there first. I spent over an hour there waiting for an answer and never got one so I finally left. The employees had no idea how to answer my question or another customers same question about the trees. Very very disappointed with this location there is much work that needs to be done to bring this location up to other locations standards. read more

Worst customer service of anyplace I shop. When leaving today, two cashiers were so busy talking that customers were literally ignored. Had two customers ask my daughter if she worked there because despite standing no more than 3 feet from the cashiers, other customers couldn't get cashiers to stop talking long enough to answer questions. Then, after finally getting my order taken care of , my cashier just stood there. I had to ask for my clothes I had just purchased to be put in a bag! And low and behold, I get home to put them away, and a security tag is still on the pants. Apparent secueity devices don't work either since it didn't go off when we left the store. Now I have to waste gas going back to have it removed. Unfortunately this has been the norm for my experiences there. Not a one time experience. Wouldn't have gone back if not for the fact I had a gift card. Will shop elsewhere. Poor selection anyway. read more
