We did a little Christmas shopping at the local Kohl's & walked away with "gifts" for me instead of people on my list The floor service is minimal but the checkout service is excellent, selections in all departments is good with well made items, & have mostly found what I want. The checkout process has changed, not sure I like it however not intolerable, lots of impulse items to buy. I have always found the value of the merchandise reasonable. read more

We just left Kohls and I am impressed! We wanted some large lawn chairs, I immediately saw staff and they came over and got the chairs and brought them to the front for us and later delivered to our car. The staff was SO friendly! I kinda felt bad about asking but they insisted. The Kohls card also saved us $70! Well staffed, friendly people, isles you can actually fit it, and safe/plenty of parking. Thanks Kohls! read more

I used to go to Kohl's a lot in middle and high school. I'm still here on occasion but don't go often. I sometimes buy their jeans and I also really love the Chaps brand. I'm still a prep at heart. It's easy to navigate the whole store and I never have an issue finding what I need. It's a very organized store and they do a good job keeping everything cleaned up. Prices range. You can find some great deals around $20, but they've also got some pricey items close to $100. My mom and I browsed at the cross necklaces. Some of them were upwards of $300!!! Wow! Anyway, great selection of stuff! Ended up purchasing some fleece-lined socks! read more

This is a very nice place to shop. I took my Granddaughters here to pick out a summer outfit. They were excited to find such good selections. They made several selections and the prices wee reasonable. My only complaint is there is nowhere to sit in the store if you are waiting for someone to shop. read more

Kohl's customer service has become a joke. Obviously there customer service 800 number is handled in a foreign country. After calling several times it became obvious. They do not speak clear English and they talk very fast. It is hard to understand what anyone is saying to you. What is happening to America? Their stores have been redesigned and the lay out is now terrible and quality is gone. read more

Kohl's has a great selection and super sale racks. You rarely have to pay full price at Kohl's if you are paying attention. My one complaint is that their promo bucks do not last long enough. If you are not careful they will expire which is frustrating. The check out area is always packed and can take some time but it is usually worth it. If you find something in the store and Kohl's does not have your size or the color you want you can order it at a kiosk and get free shipping to your home. The store can be quite disheveled and messy at times but once again it is usually worth it to get the bargains. read more

I shop at this Kohl's all the time, and rarely have anything to complain about. The prices are always cheap (I never buy anything that isn't on sale, always use coupons, frequent the clearance racks), and they get new inventory often, so every time I go there are new things to buy. My only complaints are that lines are sometimes long, and racks get messy. Full disclosure: I have family members who have worked at Kohl's in the past, but I was a customer long before, and continue to be one long after. read more

This Kohl's was absolutely AWFUL to me yesterday evening, and I will never shop at Kohl's again because of it. First, Kohl's return policy is horrible. I received a gift from someone, and I do not have the receipt or a gift receipt to return it. I understand this makes the process more difficult; however, I have never had so much trouble with a store in my life. This will be a bit lengthy, but this is the recount of what I encountered at this location yesterday: I received a gift from someone that is blatantly labeled with a Kohl's price tag reading $69.99. Unfortunately, I do not need this item, so I thought I would try to return, or exchange it for something else. I walked into the store and there are no signs that indicate anything about returns, exchanges, or customer service. However, there are cash registers as soon as you enter, so I stood in line there. After approximately 12-15 minutes of waiting I was helped and informed about the Kohl's return policy, which is that I could exchange the item with another item from the same department for the *exact* same price, or I could take "store credit" and then purchase a new item with that credit. Upon hearing the policy I was satisfied and asked how much the item would be worth if I chose the store credit option. I was then informed by the clerk that she couldn't help me with that, because they have "no power" to perform returns or exchanges at the register. She directed me to the far back corner of the store and said I would have to speak with the clerks there. I did make a comment that it would be helpful if they had signs that indicated this, and she said "I know," but otherwise made no apology. She was quite rude. I made my way to the far back corner of the store and waited in line there for approximately 5-10 minutes. When I approached the desk there were two clerks working. I explained the situation, and the item was scanned for me and I was told the store credit would total $59.99, so as long as I chose a new item in the price range of $59.99 - $69.99 I would be fine. Upon choosing a new item and returning to the service desk, where one of the same girls was working and a new lady had started a shift, I was informed (by the new lady) that I was only eligible to receive $34.99 in store credit and I was told by her that she "didn't care" what I was told by two other store employees, one of whom was standing right beside of her at the time and was arguing for my point, and that I was only eligible for the $34.99 and that I had absolutely no other option. I decided to take my original item and leave the store. Just before exiting I relayed everything that had happened to another store employee at the front registers, Becca, who was extremely apologetic and helpful. She scanned the item for me and confirmed that it was worth $59.99. She even printed a receipt for me to take back to customer service and have them perform my exchange. So, I walked back to the service desk once more to try to remedy the situation. The same service desk clerk as before was extremely rude to me and told me she, again, didn't care and that I was only eligible for $34.99, as that was the lowest price the item had ever been sold at. She then accused me of "running a scam" on Kohl's wherein I would purchase the item for the sale price and then return and try to exchange it for a more expensive item. This was one of the most insulting experiences I have ever had in a department store. I felt tears welling in my eyes as I left, because I was so angry that she would accuse me of trying to "scam" Kohl's out of $35.00. I wanted nothing more than the value of the item I was given, and to exchange it for something I could actually use. I will never shop at Kohl's again. The return/exchange policy is ludicrous. They will allow you to return the item for the exact amount (meaning it is WORTH THAT AMOUNT) or it's only worth store credit in the lowest amount it has ever been sold for, regardless of what it was purchased for or what it is selling for at the time. In addition to the policy being ridiculous, each employee that a dealt with, with the exception of Becca, was extremely rude to me. I will never return to this Kohl's or any other location because of this, and I would highly recommend never purchasing a gift for anyone from Kohl's, because it is extremely difficult to return/exchange anything there! read more

Typically love kohl's but had an awful experience with this location. My mom is handicapped and the ONLY wheelchair available didn't have feet pedals, which means my moms feet were dragging on the ground. This Kohl's is not handicap accessible at all. One of the wheelchairs provided did not have foot peddles, so the disabled person would have to have their feet dragged. Their are also no scooters, so someone with a disability cannot shop alone and independently as they'd have no one to push them around in the wheelchair. Not to mention their aisles are ridiculously small and extremely messy, so the wheelchairs cannot even be pushed through the aisle. read more

I had a terrible experience at this store. My son had received some clothing for a gift that he was not going to wear. I was told by a female cashier that that he could return the two items for approx. $30 cash or exchange for something else that would have been worth more as it would be an exchange for the exact value. He did not find anything he wanted so I returned to the desk to get the cash so he could find something elsewhere. This time I got a guy who not only returned the items for over $8 less but also refused to give cash and gave a gift card instead. I was very irritated to be told one thing and then have another experience. The guy was very unfriendly and did not care at all that he was not doing what the previous girl had said (he was right next to her and listening when she and I conversed). It's not a matter of the money, I'm annoyed at being told something different by two employee's and the guys rude demeanor. I won't be returning to this store. read more

I just had the worst customer service experience at Kohls at Towne Center. A long-time Kohls shopper, I am sorry to say that I will now take my business elsewhere. I went shopping with my mother and we spent a combined $700. My mom has a Kohls charge and did not want to use it--her choice. The sales "person" kept pushing it and asking why my mom wouldn't want to save money. She was borderline harassing her and being very sarcastic. My mother finally said, I really don't want to use it or obtain a new card, please stop asking me. MY cashier overhears this and says snarkily to me, "Well, now I'm afraid to even ask you how you're paying--we are only trying to save you people money, etc." Both women proceed to say confrontational things to us, with one cashier declaring to our faces, "Well, I think I need to go take my break now." Totally unprofessional, rude and uncomfortable. If this is how they treat people spending $700 plus, how do they treat people spending twenty dollars? Ridiculous. As a retail manager myself, shame on the supervisors for allowing their employees to disrespect patrons like that. read more
