I was eyeing a Hello Kitty Christmas sweater that was on sale that I saw online. Online says that this location only had S and M sizes avail for ship or pickup. I happen to go on one day and my goal was only to get the HK sweater. Long and behold - They had 1 XL of the sweater ! I snatched it so fast and I had asked if the sweater had any % off. There store is very clean and the staff is friendly. I had to return an Amazon purchase and the store gave me a coupon for 15% off coupon for Kohl's items. There are a wide variety of items; my wife likes llamas and they had an assortment of gifts to choose from. Even with the coupon, the prices on items seemed a little higher than what I was willing to spend, a small plush toy was 30 dollars for example. I might go back if there was something specific I needed or if there was a sale going on.The staff was nice and helpful, but it's a bit too expensive for us for everyday shopping. read more

Sometimes no surprises is a wonderful thing! I moved down here from the Philadelphia area and up there in the land of the cheesesteak I patronized these folks for many, many years. This was my first chance to visit one here in Florida and I was impressed yet again. I was just feet inside the door and I was greeted with a "Welcome to Kohl's!" and a big smile. The floor staff and my cashier were also excellent. The store was well organized, and I found just what I wanted in minutes. Everything was spotless including the fitting rooms. One characteristic of patronizing a chain is consistency but that's not always true. In this case it was, and I was quite pleased. read more

Very nice employees. Very clean and organized. Not the greatest deals, so I did not purchase anything, but that's ok. Line was short and not a long wait. Was able to purchase two items that were not in store with the kiosk and have it shipped to my house. Two gentlemen helped me and were very nice and helpful. read more

Very crowed inventory in this Kohls. Hard to find things and to move around store. Seems unorganized.

The lines are always so long.... Clothing is priced reasonably..but the home goods and most everything else is WAY OVER PRICED...i left and hung my clothes up..can not wait 20 mins and not move in line.. Maybe have more people work.. read more

If I can get this location less than one star I would. Rude employees, and they will not honor coupons that they give you. And then they make up some reason to tell you that the brand that you want to buy is excluded, even though it does not say on the coupon that that brand or product is exclamation. I would've been better off at Walmart. read more

I live in Lakeland and usually shop at the Lakeland store. Since I was in the Winter Haven area I decided to drive a little further to visit the Lake Wales store. Boy was I glad I did. The store was clean, the employees were pleasant. Any employee I saw asked if they could help and was genuinely interested in helping me. The biggest surprise of all was the shoe department. It was clean and organized. It has been a long time since I was in a shoe department that did not have shoes on the floor, out of the boxes and boxes stacked here and there with shoes that needed to be put back where they belonged. Wow, this is a store I will pleasantly drive the extra distance to visit. read more

I don't do alot of shopping so i very rarely ever go into this store but was pleasently surprised to find this store very clean and well stocked, every employee that i passed offered assistance if i needed it and all were super polite and nice. I have a thing about bathrooms (don't most women?) and theirs was very clean and well taken care of. sometimes after a few years of being open places start showing their age but this Kohl's still looks like it just opened. I didn't find what i was looking for (lampshades) but still glad i went in and probably will return sometime in the future (wouldve bought some dress pants for work but the petite section was slim for choices if you're not 90 and only wear elastic waist pants... but that's what i find everywhere :) read more

Attempted for 2 weeks to purchase a dresser online. Advised by online rep to visit store as kohls.com doesn't allow multiple tenders and I wanted to use an AMEX give card for part of my purchase. Went to the store and they advised to purchase a kohls gift card for the total amount of the order. Did that and made purchase online while still in store. The amount was $169.59, gift card was for $170. Checked the status online an hour later and not only was the order cancelled with no reasoning, but my debit card was also charged $1.19 from who knows where. Not sure how the total changes after you place an order. Called customer service AGAIN. She couldn't tell me why it was cancelled and advised that I had to wait until a week day to attempt to get a refund as they usually don't give refunds on kohls giftcards. I will never shop here again and plan to take this to corporate to get all of my money back. The online system is horrible and no one should have to go in store to make an online purchase. read more

I had a very bad experience with this store while visiting the Lake Wales area. I had asked about some specials or sales since I overheard one of the sales lady tell another female customer that there were some sales but they were not supposed to offer them until tomorrow. I didn't get upset that she didn't offer the same ones to me so I kept looking around. I was checking my email on my phone in that same department when the same sales lady told me I could not leave the store in a very rude and angry tone. I was in shock and asked what she meant. She told me I could not leave since I took pictures of them. I looked at her in shock still and told her I didn't take any pictures. She told me she heard the the sound and that I had to delete the pictures. I was so angry at this time to prove my statement, I showed her my pictures and she just sarcastically said "sorry" and walked away. I have since reported it to the manager, the corporate office and have closed my Kohl's account. They lost a very good customer that shops their stores at least weekly. I was probably picked on because I have an Asian face but this is not right and I want everyone to know. read more
