Staff are always readily available to help you find what you are looking for. If you visit the store late night (9:30-11:00) you will witness the night crew fastidiously and efficiently restocking the inventory. It's a great time to shop while fewer customers are present and you can find what you need before it disappears the next day. Yesterday while in the store late afternoon, I experienced a sudden-onset episode of a chronic illness and wanted to thank their amazing employee named Claudia who came to my rescue. She was of tremendous help: so very professional and understanding, and I can't thank her enough. I will never forget her kindness!

Attention Walmart Shoppers who might use the delivery service. On Sunday August 2nd, I ordered…read moregroceries and I made a number of discoveries. 1. You can't always count on your order being delivered. 2. The delivery service is an independent contractor that is not part of Walmart. 3. If you call your friendly store because the tracker says the order was undeliverable, they let you know that they take no responsibility and you can't get a refund. 4. Your friendly local Walmart store, after much prodding will give you a National Call in Center number; and, you'll have to tell the entire story all over again. To be told again that you Will not be able to get a refund. After very serious dialogue they finally tell you that you must cancel your order to get a refund. 5. After nearly a five hour harangue, you are unable to resend the original order because the delivery order horizon is passed. So, my fellow Walmart shoppers, the customer service merry go round won't get you any satisfaction. I have documentation that I communicated with the shopper/driver and was informed that he was on its way and was within three minutes. Then suddenly the tracking system indicated that my order was undelivered and returned to the store within a three minute time horizon. It's all a ruse and if you feel it's a convenience, and it certainly has been for me and my family. I must tell you that Walmart takes no responsibility and truly does nothing by way of real customer service or satisfaction.

Eagle Ridge Mall opened on February 22, 1996 with 80 stores, a carousel, an ice skating rink, and…read moreanchor stores that included Sears, JCPenney, and Dillard's. The grand opening of the 100 million dollar, 624,000 square-foot mall attracted 3,700 people within the first 30 minutes and 22,000 shoppers celebrated the new mall throughout the day. Throughout the ensuing years the mall has faced challenges like the sinkhole that developed beneath a children's play area and a second hole beneath an area of the Sears store in 1998. In 2009, the economic downturn led to then-owner, General Growth Properties, filling for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It was reportedly the largest real estate bankruptcy in U.S. history at the time. The Sears store closed in late 2016, and JCPenney closed in June 2020, leaving Dillard's as the sole remaining original anchor store. After Covid there were only 40 businesses left in the mall. While the two anchor stores remain vacant, management has managed to increase the number of businesses to over 70. These include Regal 12 Cinema, the Lake Wales Bowl, with Strikes Bar and Grill, and the El Pilón Loko Puerto Rican restaurant adjacent to the food court. There is also a bounce house park play area for $12. While the mall looks like it has been through it I really loved my visit. it felt like a throwback to the 80's. There were some really unique stores and the carousel in the food court was absolutely beautiful. Where some people see a dump, I see a reminder of a simpler time. Don't write this old girl off yet.

Subject: Customer Service Concern…read more My recent customer service experience at Walmart was very disappointing. The cashier, Tonya, was rude and used an inappropriate tone while speaking with me. She also muttered a negative comment, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Another cashier, Billie, overcharged me for an item, so I returned to have the issue corrected. When I sought assistance, Tonya spoke to me in a condescending manner, as though I were a child. Although the supervisor apologized, I believe something needs to be done regarding Tonya's attitude and treatment of customers. I recommend that Tonya receive additional customer service training or be moved to a position where she has less interaction with customers. Based on this experience, I would not recommend seeking assistance from her.

Much of what they have that I use I can find for a good deal less money someplace else that is usually closer to home. And this occasion I purposely stopped in because I looked online for an item that I have searched for in the past. They showed they had it in stock and when I got to the section you should be in I couldn't even find a place on the shelf or it could go. This is the same problem I had the last time I was looking for the same item and that was well over a year ago at a different location. Sadly their website just never seems to be truly up-to-date on much of what they carry. From my point of view if you're not looking for something specific and don't mind spending the money then this is probably the store for you.
