I've only visited this store twice (back in 2018 and recently this last month as I was in town for a conference) - as I was walking in & the store/mall had just opened up for the day right at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning, I was impressed by how perfectly curated, organized, and welcoming the entire space was. It's not just a department store, it's a luxury shopping experience that knows how to treat you right. The selection is outstanding -- whether you're looking for designer pieces, everyday wear, high-end cosmetics, or shoes that actually make you feel something, this store has it all. Every department was stocked beautifully, and more importantly, staffed by people who genuinely knew what they were doing. I never once felt rushed, ignored or unwelcomed. What really sets this location apart, though (besides that the bottom level is a Nordstrom Rack location & the 3 floors above makes the full-line store) - is the level of customer service. The employees here go above & beyond to make sure you leave with exactly what you want, and maybe a little more. From the personal stylists to the beauty experts to the checkout experience--it's smooth, attentive, and actually enjoyable. I quickly realized that my handbag did not have a box. The lady at the online pick-up counter offered me a general, white gift box. While I appreciate her trying to help, everyone knows that a Kurt Geiger purse MUSTTTTTT come in the original box. That's a major part of the brand. Instead, I received the handbag in a plastic bag that reminded me of a produce bag. Eek! The lady at the pickup counter walked me upstairs to the handbag department where Arya saved the day! She apologized for the way my handbag was inappropriately handled by the other department. Not only did she find the beautiful box that it belonged in, she also wrapped it with a lovely bow. By this time, the store was close and she did not rush me at all or throw together a quick bow for the sake of time. She handled my gift with pride and care to ensure I walked away satisfied. I really appreciate her doing that and giving me the box that I actually paid for when I purchased the gift. No one wants KG in a grocery/produce looking bag. Arya understands quality and care. I hope she can be recognized for her customer service and kindness last night. Sidenote: All pick-up orders should include the original box or packaging that it comes with. This is not the flea market or FB marketplace. A store like Nordstrom should understand what it means to present the total package. I was not aware of this. Also there was a sign facing the back of the store which I did not see with merchandise return policy. Clothing can be returned but I didn't see the very end of the notice which said all jewelry was not returnable. I am very careful to wait a day or so to buy anything that isn't returnable to make sure I want to keep it. But I was not aware that jewelry is not returnable. Even though I went to the Judith Voss website and if I had purchased the earrings there, I could return them. Buyer beware!! Small print on the receipt at the bottom said all jewelry was not returnable. I have been a shopper for many years but have never encountered not being able to return full price, not final sale, jewelry. It would have been nice if the sales people could at least alert me of this policy. Irresistables will not get my business again. They have lost a customer. So I have to give them the lowest star possible.
