Had an appointment for 7/23 at 5:30 (made appt several weeks ago) for fitting session/consultation for our upcoming wedding. Walked in with my fiancé and party and could see that there were only two employees working yet several customers in the store. Couldn't get anyone's attention for at least 10 minutes, and finally was able to inquire about our appointment time. We were told they were busy with other customers and that someone should be with us in about 5 minutes. Well, about 15 minutes more passed so I inquired again. Female employee seemed unfazed and just said yeh... we're really busy and it's just the two of us so I really don't know when we'll be able to assist you. Mind you, this employee also passed by a couple members of my party several times, even making eye contact with ZERO acknowledgement, no "we'll be with you as soon as we can"... NOTHING. I had to hunt someone down to get any kind of acknowledgement. I understand there were only 2 employees and that may not be the employees' fault, but a) How do you accept appointments and then not acknowledge them, telling someone yeh, we don't know when we're going to be able to help you b) how do people walking in without an appt take precedence over those who have an appointment and c) how do you NOT ACKNOWLEDGE customers in your store that you've passed by multiple times. I think that was the worst part - it's just simply rude, inconsiderate, and demonstrates a total lack of customer service. Needless to say, after waiting almost 30 minutes, we left and will be going with some other place that actually believes in helping their customers.

He told me he was going to be a while because he was dealing with a customer. No worries, I waited for him to be done. After waiting 45 minutes for him to finish with the customer, someone else came in and the salesman (Leonard Simon) told me that I had to wait because the person who came in was a "paying customer" and I wasn't. Very rude and disrespectful. Never coming in this place again.

I always end up asking a bunch of questions when I'm here- usually about sizing. When the owner is in the shop, he is warm and super friendly and helpful. There is another employee who always seems annoyed that I have the nerve to ask about an item; I really can't take that type of attitude. Customer service, man! I'm hesitant to dock Sixteen Tons a star because of this one guy's attitude. The owner has true vision and really caters to his clientele.
