I used Kohl's cash for the first time when I purchased an item and returned the item later. Kohl's refused to give me the full return amount back claiming that Kohl's cash was like real money that they discounted me. This is just plain stealing money from a customer. I'm a pretty big fan of this Kohl's location. I ordered stuff online and pick-up was pretty easy. They are open 24-hours for the holidays which is insanely convenient. I went by at 10 p.m. on a weeknight and it was the perfect time to shop. The discounts for the holidays were also pretty impressive. And who doesn't love Kohl's cash to get more for your dollar? The service has been great even in busier visits. Parking is easy and plentiful at this location too. read more

Kohl's is one of the worst box chains that I will ever shop at. Recently I bought 2 comforters on line , redeeming their cash rewards. The comforters were absolutely horrible so I returned them at their Avon Ohio location. They are absolutely cheaters, they did NOT give me my FULL refund shorted me $50.00 on my refund as well as shorted me on the Tax that I paid on my original transaction.Their cash rewards policy really sucks, just luring customers into their stores with these garbage incentive .I really hate this store so much that I will Never again give them my business. Their overall policy really Sucks, and people are getting conned into their stupid cash rewards. Waiting outside of the fitting rooms for my girlfriend to try on pants, I was confronted by an older lady telling me I had to leave the section because it was the "misses department." I told her I was waiting for my girlfriend, to which she replied "you may make the women feel uncomfortable," then waited for me to leave. Let me start by saying that I'm in a recovery support group for Kohls addicts. My name is Amanda, and I have a problem. Okay, good to get that off my chest! Now, given my love for Kohls deals/savings I guess you could say I'm a Kohls aficionado. I've been to many Kohls stores in different cities and states, and I must say, this Kohls is in my top 2 favorites! I'm guessing most people reading this are already familiar with the glory that is combining Kohls coupons to get all your favorite clothes, shoes, accessories, cookware, and home decor for next to nothing, so let me give you a few reasons why this Kohls is so special. #1- It's huge. This Kohls has 2 floors! There's an escalator and an elevator (for all you stroller/cart pushing people.) Since it's so big, each department is extremely well stocked and quite spacious. You don't feel overwhelmed and cramped like you might in smaller stores. Their makeup/beauty section is great, and I particularly love the home decor section at this location. (Seriously, try to say no to all the cute home stuff when it's 50% off AND you have a 30% off coupon!) #2- Great selection. Since this Kohls is so big, you can often score harder to find items. Fyi, if you do need to find a particular something, you can look for it on the Kohls website or app, and it will let you know if they have it in stock. If you want to save time, you can go ahead and order it and then pick it up from customer service. You'll be in and out in less than 10 mins! Most of the time when I'm trying to locate an online item in store, this location is the one where I can find it. #3- Super friendly staff. I know a lot of Kohls has great staff, but uh, well, you know some are better than others, lol. This Kohls staff is very friendly, and if they see you walking around they'll say hello and ask if you need help finding anything. There are multiple checkouts throughout the store, so it helps keep the lines to a minimum. Even at chaotic holiday time, the staff are still pleasant and helpful. So there you have it! I'm giving Kohl's at Westgate 5 stars because the people who work here are always so incredibly helpful and nice! Did I say NICE!? I shop at Kohl's quite a bit. (Yay for 30% off coupons and Kohl's cash). I went through my "I hate Kohl's" phase many years ago, but I'm back to liking it. The Apt. 9 line of clothes I really like. Typically at a Kohl's store, you can't find anyone to help you, and they're not usually stationed outside a fitting room willing to bring you alternate styles or sizes. This Kohl's...well they work hard for the money, cause they do! I have been to this location many times and I find it to be the best store of all the ones in the area. Yay! A YELP review about KOHL'S! Does anyone TRULY care? Probably not. Want something to read anyway? For starters YES! I've worked in retail during the holidays, more than once in my lifetime, so I'm WELL AWARE of how things are!! That being stated, here we go! The Fairview Park Kohl's has become my LEAST favorite Kohl's and tonight marks my last time shopping there, ever. A family member was kind enough to give me her $30/Kohl's Cash, so I decided to take my daughter shopping. Their girls department for sizes 4-7 is pathetic. My 5yr old STRUGGLED to find something she liked (and this girl can throw some seriously fun/cute outfits together--she's 5, it's what they do!) But she wasn't excited about the articles of clothing that were branded with Mickey and Minnie or any other stale Disney characters. ((Side note: we are in the minority of people who are NOT Disney obsessed. I'm well aware of this.)) She settled on 3 pair of leggings, a t-shirt and some socks. After an hour or more of looking over the options and trying things on, this was a hilariously sad collection of items. We decided to hit the toy section and discovered that Kohl's sells their Legos for MORE than Target does. ((This is FUNNY to me, considering Target is right next door! -- Again, as a reminder: we had Kohl's Cash, otherwise I wouldn't have been in Kohl's.)) Curious, I did a quick Google Search to find out if Kohl's does Price March and here's what I found ON KOHL'S WEBSITE!!! "Upon request, Kohl's stores will match a competitor's in-store price and will also match Kohls.com pricing (which sometimes varies from Kohl's store prices) on an identical item as outlined below. Kohl's stores do not price match competitors' online pricing." So, naturally, I thought,"YAY! Problem solved!" Threw the Lego Classic Medium Creative Brick Box 10696 in the cart along with the articles of clothing and we were register bound. My cashier didn't seem to know of any price matching so she asked her not-so-neighborly fellow cashier who was all too quick to say,"NO! We do not!" "Interesting, because it says on your website that you do and that it has to be an IN STORE comparison, which I found, and can show you, on my phone that Target sells the exact same Lego box for $7.00 cheaper in store..." She wasn't having any part of it. "It has to be on paper." "On paper? What?" "If you can bring it in on their flyer, then we can do the price match." That seems pretty antiquated to me, considering MAJORITY of humans have, hold, carry & use smartphones. Not to mention the number of other stores who accept price match items that you can pull up on your phone, but whatever ladies. Since Carol the Crusty Cashier and her sidekick Silent Nancy (my cashier) weren't the slightest bit interested in working with me by sparing $7.00 and having me pay the difference of $27.99, I decided to not buy it at all. Smart move gals, way to cost your company and shareholders money. --high-fives all around!-- Then came the articles of clothing, of which the pants and t-shirt were Kohl's "Jumping Bean" brand-- not Michael Kors, but "Jumping Bean." $68.00. I had to double check to make sure Silent Nancy didn't charge me for the Legos. "What is happening here?" Apparently NOTHING was on sale --a first for Kohl's! ((Oh, I should clarify: Christmas decor is/was 70-75% off!!)) "$68.00?!? For THAT?!? Forget it. This is ridiculous." And with that, I decided it was best for us to walk away empty-handed and leave all of Kohl's prized possessions behind, since clearly they've lost their minds. Prior to walking thru the doors for the last time, I handed the $30 Kohl's Cash over to a complete stranger-- look at that, Crusty Carol and Silent Nancy! You cows wouldn't help me Price Match and save $7.00 yet I was able to save someone $30.00. The lesson here? Forget Kohl's. Save your money, your time, and your SANITY by shopping ANYWHERE ELSE instead. Also, it's better to work with your customers to create a repeat shopper than it is to cut off your nose to spite your face. My total would have come to over $90 had I opted to buy the Legos and clothing. Minus the $30 KC, Kohl's would have received $60 of MY money. Instead? They got ZERO from me. And THAT is how it will remain. And everyone moved on and went about their lives. (Names were changed to protect the grumpy cashiers.) read more

Waited in line for about ten minutes in the downstairs section to make a return. We were informed that returns could only be accepted at the customer service desk in a completely different part of the store. There were no signs or any indications that a separate customer service section existed. We went all the way to the far upstairs corner of the store, again no signs, had to ask someone where to go. Then had to wait another 15 minutes to make a simple return. Sign on desk says they make returns easy. That's a joke, right? Lady at the desk was rude. There should be clear signage at all doors of the store to tell you where to take a return. We will not purchase anything else form Kohl's again. We were so frustrated that we didn't even feel like using our Kohl's cash, since we'd have to stand in yet another line. read more

This is my favorite location! The store is always shoppable and maintained. The staff is friendly, polite, and patient. I even had a staffer show me how to use The new "my wallet" feature on the Kohls app while I was there! I can always find what I'm looking for with ease.
