I haven't been here in a long time but I needed some dish towels and haven't been able to find the ones I like so what the heck, let's see what they have. I was happy to see that the Sephora store inside had a pretty good selection of items, I'll keep that in mind. As I browsed through the store I noticed that they had some good prices and additional sale items available. It wasn't busy and other shoppers appeared to have had good customer service, I didn't need any assistance on this visit. This was my first time going to Kohl's. I must say that they had some nice items, the store was pretty clean and organized, and the cashier was extremely kind and helpful. I love that have something for everyone and the household. You can shop everything from adult athletic wear, to children's toys, to home decor. The price points are ok as well and during this time especially, they have great deals! The store is super spacious and shopper friendly. If you're in the area it wouldn't hurt to stop by! read more

Needed an ugly Christmas sweater for my son and couldn't find one in the stores I normally shop in. Took a chance on stopping in this store and they had exactly what he needed although the selection was slim. The seater itself was a bit pricey for a one time wear sweater, but nice quality so I'm not complaining. This store isn't inside of a shopping mall so there's plenty of parking. Beware though that this store is also used for Amazon returns so parking close may be an issue. The store itself is clean and the layout logical. There were 4 cashiers available so although there was a line, it didn't take long to checkout. read more

I asked the check out woman if she would hold a fragile snowman I wanted to purchase. I didn't want to put it in a cart and continue to shop. She had a look on her face like I wanted to have her perform surgery on something. She also checked me out. No personality or just common customer service. Amazon return desk is always closed. And they change their times every day. Literally came one day and was told they're open from 9a-2p and came back the next day at 1:10 and was told they're already closed, they closed at 1p that day. Wtf read more

The manager is extremely rude. The store closes the dressing rooms early and are more concerned with rushing out before closing time than customers making purchases. Will never be returning to that location. read more

This store is clean and well organized. Staff is friendly and usually there are no long lines. I shopped here quite often a few years ago but prices keep going up and the quality is not. I got a "leather" belt here a year ago and found it was not all leather - it was a composite with leather glued to paper - did not last a month before coming apart. I'm not sure why I walked past 10+ employees on the floor. Not a single one acknowledged me or offered to help me find the section/what I was looking for. Why are they even present? Get up to the register & there is a line TEN DEEP with just ONE register open. This is at 6pm on a Monday. Not a "dead" or unusual hour. Meanwhile, several other employees walk past. No one stops to open another register. The customers currently being rung up are intent on having the cashier play tech support with their phone app to figure out account rewards. This goes on for about 30 minutes before someone FINALLY decides to open a second register. What should have taken 15 minutes or less to buy a simple pair of shoes & a shirt took nearly an hour. Why??? The saving grace of 3 stars instead of 2 is just because the store was cleanly. So, at least the abundance of employees strolling around are keeping it clean & organized, since they don't seem to do much else. I feel bad for the one lady stuck at the register with a line full of increasingly agitated customers. She should not have had to be apologetic for sheer lack of management. read more

I had the absolute WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER AT A KOHL'S STORE that I've ever had!! It all started when my package, a white denim jacket arrived from Kohl's to my home FILTHY! I immediately went to the store to see if they had any in stock, not finding one in my size, I asked for a 'store credit' return. So why does the sales associate take it upon herself to return the balance back to my credit card?! I specifically said "before you do my refund transaction, I want it put onto a "store credit reward receipt", well, she didn't do as I asked and had to involve another higher up to correct her error but before doing so, the register crashed! So, I had to wait OVER 30 minutes to receive my refund off that particular register (because that's where the transaction was started at), even though other registers were FULLY FUNCTIONAL and I could have received my refund off of one of them, and Kohl's could have "cleaned up their register messiness" after I'd left! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! As a Kohls cardholder if I knew that my credit score wouldn't be impacted, I'd cut up my Kohl's card and NEVER look back!! Ugh . Thank goodness for the cashier, I believe her name to be SUE (?), always very pleasant. read more

WORST experience EVER! I bought a few items and found out the next day that they'd gone on sale at a cheaper price. So, I looked up Kohl's Price Adjustment policy and went to the Germantown store with my items and receipt. This is what SHOULD have happened. They'd give me the difference in price. Simple, right? Wrong. This is what DID HAPPEN. I went to Customer Service and the lady at the register had to ask her 'boss' how to do a Price Match/Adjustment. The woman stared at her for two minutes before answering like she had no idea what was going on. Finally, she agreed to do a return and then re-sell me the items back. However, she did this begrudgingly and literally said "I normally wouldn't do this, but I'll check you out here. Normally, you'd return items here but then you'd have to find the items IN STORE and buy them again at the registers." So wait. You'll only return my items, then I'd have to go LOOKING AROUND THE ENTIRE STORE for the SAME ITEMS I just gave you back?! Seriously? Btw, there weren't any more of these in the store; I bought the last ones! I'm not even done yet. Then, after the return was complete, the ladies began the checkout process. I had to give my coupon and the 'boss' woman looks at it and asks if I'd already used that coupon. I'm confused and ask "Why? Is it not working?" Umm...why would the coupon I used for the Original Purchase not work? It's still valid. "You can't use this again." She says, basically telling me that I'm not allowed to get the discount that she just TOOK AWAY with my 'return' that they HAD to do for my Price Match. At this point, I'm furious and give her a wad of other coupons I have (luckily) and say "Here. I have more. Try these." The other lady checking me out responds "It went in. The coupon works." So, the 'boss' woman had an entire argument with me that was pointless! Now, at this point, she had nothing to say. She was just trying to find ANY excuse so I wouldn't get my money back; it's like she had a personal grudge against me for no reason. So finally, finally I could leave! I will NOT be returning. The fact that this happened at Customer Service is laughable. Kohl's you NEED to get your employees in order. I have no issue with your cashiers; they were helpful. Your 'management' however, is another story. I have NEVER experienced such terrible service anywhere else! I had my receipt, I had my items, and the price rang up cheaper on the register. There is NO reason why I should've gone through this hassle. None. read more

This Kohl's is the new KMart. Kohl's back in the 90's was actually a very customer friendly department store. Now is a completely different atmosphere. I was at the Cordova store at 8:30 PM with my daughter and passed four employees all near the men's dept registered. I looked at each employee and smiled. NOT a single employee even glanced at me let alone greeted or asked if I needed any help. There was a definite vibe of distain from all of the employees there. I never ask for help at department stores as I have worked for years in the industry including several years at another Kohl's. One really has to question the hiring practices and how this affects customer service. I will never purchase another item from Kohl's, this store obviously only wants a certain type of customer. read more

Worst shopping experience ever! I took my mother-in-law shopping at this store. When we got ready to leave she had to use the restroom so we went to the restrooms in the back of the store. She entered the restroom and a few minutes later a store associate walked in on my mother-in-law. Rather then apologizing she called my mother-in-law a bitch and proceeding to laugh about it with the other associates. My mother-in-law is well in her 60s and is from another country so she does not go shopping in the U.S. a lot. This was totally unacceptable behavior from the associate and we will not be shopping at the store again. read more

Online ad advertised sale on a specific KitchenAid mixer with same day pickup. Came back to pick it up and it was the wrong mixer. The ad was not for the mixer the store fulfilled. Tried to explain this to Brenda the assistant manager by showing her the ad. She was of no help and had an attitude on top of it! By the third "I'm telling you..." on her part, we had heard enough. This was over a 29.99 mixer and it was a mistake on the part of Kohl's not our mistake! The correct mixer was in stock in the store but she was clueless (and rude) as to how to make it right for the customer. We went across the street to JCP and purchased the correct mixer for the same sale price as Kohl's with no problem. I returned the incorrect mixer at Kohl's and we will never do business with Kohl's again!! read more

I heart you Kohl's! Oh how excited I was to find that Tennessee does in fact have my wonderful Kohl's. I love the selection of home goods they have here. I'm kind of addicted to the Food Network pots, pans, utensils and silverware gadgets. It's kind of a problem. I could spend a small fortune at Kohl's in just this section alone. The clothes are pretty awesometastic as well. I love me some Daisy Fuentes and Elle clothing. They tend to have super trendy designs and colors, but for way cheaper than I would find elsewhere. As an added bonus, they don't fall apart the minute I wash them. My favorite Kohl's purchases though, would have to be the ones made near Christmas time. I believe that Kohl's has the best selection of ornaments and decorations ever! I love random ornaments that don't match and tell a story. I've gotten quite a few of those each season right here. So, perhaps I shall see you at this location come December. I will totally fight you for my favorite ornament. You've been forewarned. read more

Kohl's is my go-to place for gift shopping. It's very reasonably-priced and you'll find a myriad of products and must-haves for your loved/liked ones. It's basically a department store offering clothing, shoes, jewelry, and some home goods. They have awesome deals on sweaters -- so if you're looking to stock up, I highly recommend giving them a look. Also, they're always having sales on top of sales, so going into the store is better than online, in my opinion. They have a very pretty selection of sterling silver jewelry that you can get on sale occasionally. Brands carried include: Apt. 9, axcess, LC Lauren Conrad, Ralph Lauren Chaps, and more. read more

I got a gift card from my husband's work for $100. i love kohls! i go here for the clearance racks and boy did I score! i got a pair of pants marked 90% off and they were $5! i pretty much have a new wardrobe because of the clearance! if you check back once a week, they have new stuff on clearance! they even have adorable clearance items for my 3 year old son! i come here every now and then! it's a hit or miss, and that's with every store. this is my go-to store if i need new clothes, as well for my mom, too! read more

To start it off, the place was very unorganized. Clothes everywhere, even on the floor. Broken toys, ripped up clothes, broken bottles, etc. The bathroom (men's) was disgusting. There was one stall in particular that seemed to have had poop smears in the walls and lotion and paper towel scraps and the toilet seat. There one also another stall that was clogged up. There are no friendly workers there either. read more

I went in the store for the first time because I shopped online and got smaller sizes then expected. I went to customer service nobody was back there but me and the associate took longer than expected to greet me. I informed her I had never been in the store before and wanted to exchange items but I didn't see them. She asked me maybe 3 times did I look over in the section. Ofcourse, I did. Then she says well maybe we don't have them. ( odd moment of staring at each other) So, I walk away then she says Ill call someone to help you ( as I walked off). She calls but nobody comes after 5 minutes. So I leave. I mean could she have told me the process of returning online products or exchange if not in the store. She wasn't helpful at all. read more

Store was almost empty which may have been bc/ it was raining. I went to pick up an online order. I searched and found someone that worked there and asked where customer service was. I was told 'In the back". So to the 'back" I go. Once 'in the back" no signage to show 'where' it is. I ask someone else. They instruct me to go to the left and then farther back. I get to Customer Service. It's a misnomer. Someone-a staff member-is yelling obscenities into his cell phone. I'm trying to just get my order and leave. The yeller apologizes and says he's mad at someone he placed an order with. Clearly!!!! And he keeps yelling into the phone. I'd have thought he could do his personal business on his break or at lunch or elsewhere than 'Customer Service'? The person at 'Customer Service" is completely deadpan. She looks up my order-gets it-hands it to me and says not a word. I get my order and get the heck out of there. This is maybe the 4th time I've been in this Kohl's. I only went b/c a friend on Fl keeps telling me how great Kohl's is there. And this time I went b/c I ordered something I'd been looking for for ages and found online from them. I will be ordering more of that item but I'll be having it shipped to me. I'm just not feeling it Kohl's. read more

I used to go for the sales and mark-downs. Now I feel like you have to have a coupon just to get something for a "normal" price. It seems like now they inflate the prices so that you can feel like you are getting a deal. I don't really often find clothes I want unless they are very basic staple pieces. read more

Specifically, this is about Kohls.com. On December 2, 2015, I ordered 7 items online. Kohls sent 2 items only and then marked the item complete. I called the 1-800 number because they do not have online forms for problem resolution. The rep told me that it was my responsibility to track down the rest of the order with the post office. I explained that the order was sent FedEx. He said FedEx gave it to the Post Office and I should follow up with them. I told him that the Kohls.com web site showed that my order was in my town and ready to be delivered SEVEN DAYS AGO. He said this was reasonable and there was nothing he could do. I followed up with Kohls by explaining the problem in the survey that followed. Of course, they charged me the FULL AMOUNT FOR THE ORDER, which was a lot of money because it was several pairs of pants for my husband. No pants. No money. Christmas has come and gone. My advice to you is that you go to the store. The kohls.com website and customer service for web orders is simply not there. I learned the expensive way. read more
