If I could rate this store zero I would. It's a disaster front to back. I've been in many Kohl's stores and they all were presentable or better, but not this one. Merchandise was in the floor, fixtures half empty while others way too full. Brands are mixed, styles are mixed... wasn't sure what I was looking at. Mannequins are missing limbs and their outfits don't match. The only bright spot was the young lady at the front register gave a nice greeting. Others never even said hello or offered assistance. I've worked in retail for many years and whoever manages this store needs to be retrained or demoted. read more

The Columbus store is absolutely appalling! I have never seen such a disarray in all departments! I could not find anything I was looking for. I complained to the manager and her comment was "we're working on it!" Just a pitiful experience read more

We have visited this store on many different occasions and have never had a problem with customer service like past reviews have stated over the years. Everyone has been friendly and helpful especially at checkout. This store has a wide selection of merchandise and usually have pretty good sales. The only downfall is it tends to be a little messy especially with clothes left in the dressing rooms. read more

Sunday, August 20th 2023, my husband, little boy, mom and myself visited the Sephora in Kohls of Columbus, GA. We were not greeted by anyone, I didn't see any Sephora employees around the store. My husband needed help with a cologne, so I was assisting him to the best of my ability. While helping him find a specific cologne, I heard an employee yell "You can't go behind the counter!" while approaching the front of the store in a very aggressive manner. Everyone in the store became silent and turned to see what was going on - that's when I noticed the Sephora associate was yelling at my mom. My mom has never visited Sephora (though she is a daily shopper at this Kohls) and needed to throw away a q-tip she had used to sample make up. Nobody assisted her, she wasn't aware of where any trash cans were and simply walked to the closest one she could find. Nobody was at the counter or behind it, there are no visible signs or warnings to not go behind the counter, and no associates in sight to ask for assistance - including the one that came from the back of the store yelling at my mother. The associate, whose name tag read "Angel", continued to raise her voice and use aggressive body language towards my mom after my mom asked why she had yelled at her. At this time, everyone in the store had become silent and was looking at my mom and this associate. The associate would not apologize to my mom, didn't ask my mom if she needed assistance with anything, and continued to raise her voice at my mom trying to validate her previous yelling. I stepped in and let the associate know that my mother is an elder and at least twice her age (my mom being 69 years old) and she needed to treat my mom with respect and use appropriate customer service, in which the associate Angel turned her frustration, aggression and rudeness towards me. She continued to have very unprofessional body language (rolling eyes, clapping hands together, avoiding eye contact) while arguing with me about her interaction with my mother. She never once stopped to apologize, lower her voice, or tried to de-escalate the situation. Multiple customers were in agreement that she should be reported and her behavior was extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. Needless to say, we walked away without making any purchases. And along with us, multiple customers walked out of the Sephora. My mom is 69 years old, a recent widow, with health problems. Her blood pressure and anxiety instantly elevated due to this employee's actions. Before we drove home from the store, I had to ensure my mom was not going to have a panic attack and help her alleviate her chest pains. Once at home after this experience, she began having increased chest pains and migraines. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe the feelings behind this employees actions. I am an avid shopper at Sephora and recently spent $232 a week prior to this occurrence. This month alone, I've spent over $500 at this Sephora. And I cannot account for the amount my mom has spent at this Kohls location as a DAILY shopper (in fact she picked up an online order while we were there). If this is how loyal customers are treated, myself, my family and friends want nothing to do with either of these businesses. I don't know the appropriate consequences for this associates behaviors - who also said she was the manager at the time of the incident. The bare minimum would be to have this associate re-trained and appropriate courses on customer service and management skills. This situation could have been handled a lot better and could have ended a lot worse. There were young children in the store, someone with a service animal, and this associate could have easily triggered different responses from each customer around. I truly hope with the email/report that appropriate actions are taken. read more

This was my first time visiting this kohl's I was in the jewelry section looking at different items in the case. 2 women were standing near the case talking handling jewlery, neither 1 of them asked me if I needed assistance. i continued to walk around the case and they walked away. Im not sure if the assumed I wasn't buying anything, but it was pretty rude. One thing that irks my nerves is horrible customer service. read more

On a mission to buy T-shirts for my husband. I walk in at 10 AM (opening time) and go to the men's department. What I expect is to find a well-organized department, with easy to find items. This is a Monday morning! Obviously nothing was done the night before. I walk into a big mess! Clothing all over the floor, opened packages, disorganization (nothing in it's correct spot). I find empty shelves and endless rows of clutter. (pictures attached) I can't find what I need amongst the madness, so I go to find my husband some slippers...I never could determine where they were located. After being confused and disgusted, I decide to go to the women's dept and purchase gloves. I go to the register and guess what? There's no one there, so I have to walk down to the other side of the store to make my purchase. I'm DONE with shopping at Kohl's! read more

Kohl's merchandise is tacky and cheap, and disorganized. You can get through their checkout line quickly, but forget trying to return anything. So how do I know this because obviously I would not purchase any of their tacky overpriced stuff? I drop off my Amazon packages except not anymore because their Kohl's lines are out the door. read more

Used to love Kohls, but the one in Columbus left me disappointed. The staff was rude- especially the woman in customer service who "helped" (see: did not help) me. Lost my receipt so she "offered" me $2 for a pair of jeans with a $48 price tag- based on some policy of the lowest price within the past whatever length of time- in every kohls in the world. Wouldn't let me exchange, either, unless I found something for the exact price- not a penny over or under- which nothing was. May be store policy but it's a dumb policy, and woman's attitude was that I was bothering HER by taking her away from her conversation with her friend- to do her job. On the bright side- at least they weren't messy like Old Navy. So for having that act together anyway. read more

We went to Kohl's today because we had $10 Kohl's cash that expires tomorrow. They had a sign by the jeans that said 2 pair $50 so I picked out 2 pair and went to check out. They rang up as 2 for $80. My husband told them their sign said 2 for $50. Another cashier said she had just checked the price and they were 2 for $80. At this point my husband was frustrated because they were 1. Blatantly saying he was lying and 2. Accusing him of trying to get something for nothing. We are hardworking, people that try desperately to live by the Golden Rule. My husband went and got the sign that clearly said 2 for $50 and was held in place by the jeans in question by VELCRO and took it to the cashier. This was their opportunity to do the right thing and honor their sign. They refused. They then had the absolute audacity to offer him his $10 from the Kohl's cash. Needless to say it was refused. This is the third time we have had bad customer service experiences at Kohl's. The store is a mess, completely unorganized and the restrooms today were filthy. We will never be back or do any kind of business with Kohl's. read more

I am appalled at the working conditions that their associates have to endure. A couple of months ago I went to Kohl's and noticed it was extremely hot in the store. I assumed they were having problems with their HVAC. Today the store was so hot I couldn't wait to leave. As we were checking out I mentioned this to the lady helping us. She replied that it's always hot. I mentioned this to a friend in another state and she said she had stopped shopping there for this reason. Surely, Kohl's, you can afford to keep your stores cooler. I will not shop at Kohl's again. read more

Do not order something online to pickup in store. They keep your items in different locations in the store and run around trying to find them when you come to pick them up. They have no clue. There's no organizational system and all your items could be in various places. We waited for 45 mins to pick up items because they couldn't find them. We saw the worker that was helping us, Christina, walk out the back door with cigarettes in her hand and on her cell phone. They said they couldn't find what I ordered and had to cancel it. I walked right over to the shelf and got my items myself and purchased at the front counter. I had to wait a week from kohls.com to be reimbursed for the items they "could not find." read more

Over and over and over we have had consistently high quality of merchandise and caring people if we've had any issues or concerns. People at the Columbus do backflips to help their customers!!!! I'm "just another" amazingly satisfied Kohl's customer!!! They've got my vote!!! read more

Love this place. Always low prices, especially with my kolhs card. Always clean and mostly organized. Love the great bargains and selection. Staff is nice too. read more
