Overall I like Kohl's. As long as I can find what I want in sale. Which is often. If it's not on sale this week just check again next week. This location is in a out of the way place but for the right price on some name brand attire I will make the exception. One of the better things about Kohl's is the ease of returning Amazon purchases without packaging and near instant credit on my Amazon account. That has taken a lot of hassle out of anything I buy that doesn't live up to par. Be careful tho. If I could give zero stars I would. I had ordered something online weeks ago expecting it to be a same day or at least same day pick up. Days went by and it still wasn't there. I had to go out of town and of course my order came in 3 weeks after I ordered while I'm out of town. They're saying if I don't pick it up by the end of day it's going to be canceled. This place has changed a lot over the past few years, and not for the better.My last visit was on a Tuesday 5 minutes after they opened. The store was in extreme disarray and looked like it had been hit by a tornado. I found two employees in the store, and neither looked happy. Probably from the mess they had to organize because it wasn't done the night before. Looking around was disheartening, clothes on the floor and thrown over the wrong areas. Plus the amazing discounts are nowhere to be found. The prices being more expensive versus what I could buy online. I see many reviews blaming the workers. Sorry but I hardly think anyone wants to run a huge store with two employees. Kohls stock and many stores closed over the past few years. Apparently the first cost-cutting idea is to cut employees. Whenever I have time and am in the area I make a point to stop at this Kohl's to poke around. There is almost never an employee walking around assisting customers but their inventory is nicely organized and the store is clean. Every department seems to have a nice variety of name brand items. I love that Kohl's accepts Amazon returns. I recently needed to return a very large and heavy Melissa and Doug item. The customer service clerk just scanned the return barcode on my phone and I was done. Afterwards the clerk handed me a twenty five percent off coupon to use in the store. This is the worst Kohl's I've stepped in. The worst customer service ever received from any manager. The woman's department manager should be trained in customer service and how to speak to clients. Being polite and courteous goes a long way, even if your items are in the wrong sale rack, or if your sale sign is not descriptive enough. "Sale items" is very general, if you state skirts are 60% off that is more specific. You post this and everyone is going to assume that everything listed on the racks with that sign are on sale. I should start by saying that I love Kohl's, and this incident makes me unbearably sad, but I need to warn others, so their holidays are not negatively impacted as well. DO NOT LET KOHL'S SEND YOU ANYTHING USING LASERSHIP! Demand they give you the name of the shipper at the time you order. If they tell you it's Lasership, just cancel your order, and try someplace else. My family's Christmas PJs - that I ordered on November 6th were never delivered. Lasership says they sent them back to Kohl's. Kohl's says they can't locate our order, and our items are now out of stock. Also, it will take 30 days to get a refund onto my Kohl's card. I went into the store this evening to pick up some toys I purchased online as well as make a return. Was greeted very well and served well until the return process began. The male a customer service rep was courteous but was unable to process the return. He called a male manager for assistance who was curt from the onset. After a quick exchange with the customer service rep the manager went into a barrage of excuses to refuse the return. Basically his demeanor was that there was nothing he could or would do for me and I was basically out of luck. I informed him of his combative attitude which clearly insulted him and made matters worse. He insisted on showing me something on his monitor to validate his rudeness. He only let up by walking away. Do they no longer care about how dissatisfied they make their customers? Have they forgotten to go above and beyond? I feel the answer to both of these questions is a loud affirmative yes! My kids are always keeping my Kohl's charge card full but that's not important to "Khol's!" It seems that retailers, or at least this one cares more about making money than keeping customers. We are all suffering during this pandemic not just retailers. I was standing at the jewelry counter wanting to buy Ray Bans, which is at the end of the jewelry counter. Due to the holidays, Kohls had a ticket counter they were using to handle customers. Unfortunately, they were not honoring it. I stood and watched countless customers get helped before me, thinking they had tickets too. After standing there for over ten minutes, I asked if they were even using the ticket numbers. They told me no and they would get to me soon, but they literally never did. I left after spending right at 20 minutes waiting for someone to help me, but they never showed up. I then asked directions to the restroom from an employee who was walking by, and got completely ignored. Even though i was holding my 3 year old daughter, I guess my question wasnt important enough for her to address me. Idk if they have temps or if management is that poor, but I would stay away from Kohls AT LEAST until after the holidays. It appears can't handle it. This Kohls location is great because there aren't a lot of similar retail stores in the area. The store is always well put together and the set up is easy to find what you're looking for. The staff has been friendly on all occasions. I love shopping at kohls because I can always find something on sale! A beautiful store! I love their selections! The store is kept very neat, the sales people are friendly and helpful! And I just LOVE their sales! I hate it when you see something in an ad in the paper and then go into the store and can't find it, or find that it has been sold out. Well today I saw some things I wanted to get that was advertised in the sales flyer, went out to Kohl's and they had exactly what I was looking for. Which surprised me because they were monogramed items and usually I can't find all of the initials we need for our family! Not only did I find all the letters I needed - but they were more then 50% off! Oh, and they have the most beautiful decorations for Christmas right now too! read more
