"CAN I GET SOME KOHLS CASH?!"…read more That's the phrase you'll hear echoing from our family every time we step foot into Kohl's -- and for good reason. This place has become a go-to destination for clothing, toys, and home accessories, all wrapped into one big retail win. Kohl's has evolved over the years, and the recent updates have made shopping even easier. Think TJ Maxx or Marshalls-style checkout lanes lined with snacks and impulse-buy treasures (yes, I've grabbed a candle or two I didn't need), and a self-checkout area that makes things super quick when you've got a toddler in tow. Pro Tip: We make a beeline straight to the kids section the moment we walk in. That's where the gold is: clearance racks of affordable, good-quality clothes for our son, plus some fun toys tucked in if you hunt around. Beyond kids' clothes, the home section is massive -- from cozy throws and stylish shower curtains to small kitchen appliances that make you feel like a pro chef. And don't sleep on the men's and women's clothing either. If you find your size, the deals can be ridiculously good. What really seals the deal? The Kohl's app. It's one of our favorites -- simple, organized, and full of coupons, discounts, and yes... Kohl's Cash. You'll usually earn $10 for every $50 spent, and it stacks up fast. Combine that with their store credit card perks and app-exclusive deals, and you've got a powerful formula for savings. Bonus points for curbside pickup and helpful staff who are always quick with a smile and happy to assist. The store is big, well-stocked, and we almost always leave with a bag (or three) and a smile. So next time you're headed to Kohl's... Just yell it with me: "CAN I GET SOME KOHLS CASH?!" Because trust me, you will -- and you'll be glad you did.

Overall I like Kohl's. As long as I can find what I want in sale. Which is often. If it's not on…read moresale this week just check again next week. This location is in a out of the way place but for the right price on some name brand attire I will make the exception. One of the better things about Kohl's is the ease of returning Amazon purchases without packaging and near instant credit on my Amazon account. That has taken a lot of hassle out of anything I buy that doesn't live up to par. Be careful tho. Kohl's will give you incentive to make a purchase the same day you drop off an Amazon return.

We visited for the first time on Small Business Saturday and were greeted upon entering. The store was busy and there is soooo much to look at and I'm not just talking about the items for sale. The decor is beautiful and feels extremely welcoming. There is a Santa in his sleigh with reindeer hanging from the ceiling, a collection of vintage ornaments behind the register area, and an altar where you can leave a prayer request or pick one to take and pray for that person. They carry apparel, home decor, devotionals, jewelry, and much more. This will be one of my new go to stores for gift giving ideas. We walked around for awhile and found some clothes to try on. Both my daughters and I found tops that were flattering and modest. The staff was friendly and checkout was efficient. We even shared an amusing moment during the checkout process in regards to one of the items I purchased. Also, I'm not sure if it was a promotion for Small Business Saturday but when we arrived home and put our items away, we noticed a surprise; they had placed a scarf inside the bag. Thank you all, we'll be back!

Instead of handling the situation professionally, she became angry, started yelling, and repeatedly banged on the machine. She then stopped helping us, leaving the manager to step in and resolve the issue. The machine had already taken our $17 gift card when it crashed. Although we eventually received a replacement gift card, the process took far longer than it should have. It was a simple issue that became unnecessarily frustrating because of the poor customer service and lack of urgency. We also felt that we were treated differently because of our race, which made the experience even more upsetting. Overall, Marilyn's behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. My full review this time is specifically related to the older stylist who was not helpful at all in my experience. And honestly was very "salesly" and I only tried on one dress the entire appointment. So here goes... A Masterclass in Doing the Absolute Least... I showed up excited to wedding dress shop. I left wondering if I had accidentally interrupted someone's last shift before retirement. We called ahead to see if we could move our appointment earlier and were told, "Sorry, no availability." Totally fine--except when we walked in and the store was so empty it echoed. Eventually, a consultant appeared and asked what kind of dresses I liked. I described exactly what I was looking for and was promptly informed that they had nothing like that in the store, that they were fresh out of lace mermaid dresses. No offer to check. No alternative suggestions. Just a verbal shrug. Meanwhile, my mom--on a completely unrelated journey to the bathroom--managed to stumble upon MULTIPLE dresses in my size (bridal 4) that fot that description. Apparently the restroom route is more fruitful than asking the consultant whose job this is. The only dress I tried on? One I had already tried on a month ago--pulled by a previous stylist (shoutout to Belle, who was actually amazing and clearly carried the entire store on her back). This time, it was a size 6, and I was told it would require $1,000 in alterations to fit me. I am a bridal 4. The math is... confusing. The consultant then graciously pulled exactly one more dress for me. A size 12. She warned me it would be "swimming" on me, as if I hadn't already tried on several size 12 dresses before with zero issue. It seemed like she didn't want to clip me in a bigger dress. It was giving "I'm done for the day and I would like you to also be done." Overall vibe: I felt less like a bride shopping for her wedding dress and more like an inconvenience standing between someone and clocking out. If you're looking for attentive service, thoughtful styling, or even mild enthusiasm--keep walking. If you want to be told nothing exists while standing in a store full of dresses... congratulations, you've found the place. Would not return. Would not recommend. Would suggest the bathroom tour though--it's where the real inventory lives.

We had the dress altered and our seamstress of 30 years did her best to create the fit. We were informed that there was not enough fabric to alter the dress correctly. After speaking with Calvet Couture, they recommended we take the dress to their seamstress. When we took it to their seamstress, she stated the dress needed to be one size larger to have enough fabric to alter correctly. They offered to send extra fabric in hopes that it will work. Three weeks before the wedding, they offer "possible" solutions with no guarantee they would work. Cutting it this close, a bride can't take a chance on a "possible". They denied a refund or even a partial refund and blamed the seamstress instead of taking accountability.
