Our visit was on a weekday early afternoon. My husband made me go - I'm a Macy's shopper - and Kohl's is really not convenient to where we live. But he said he wanted new sneakers and insisted this was the place to look for them. I'm uncomfortable with the computer controlled price tags, and there's hardly a salesperson around to answer questions. He found the pair he wanted, but alas, didn't find his size. It took us almost 15 minutes to go up to the front cashier, ask for someone to help, return to the shoe department and wait for a salesperson to come to our help. Unfortunately there wasn't any stock of ANY sneakers in his size for the entire store, so the alternative is to order them online to be shipped to our home. However, you can't get your own Wi-Fi in the store because of the proximity to the Brooksville Regional Airport (salesperson's explanation) so she suggested the internal Kohl's website on his cell phone. This is an unsecured website and I never purchase anything on an unsecured website so we left empty handed. I noticed more shoppers looking for assistance and very few staff - only one cashier was open. This must be their business model - operate the store with as few associates as possible. We left the store empty handed and frustrated because of not enough stock for ONE pair of men's sneakers to be available in a large retail store. If I wanted to shop online, I wouldn't have driven 20 minutes to the location! read more

I intend to do a lot of Christmas shopping this year! I will be gifting for one extra nephew this year! I became an Auntie again on September 26, 2023! We went to Kohls to look for pants for my children's school uniforms. We had already tried several other stores to no avail. We just needed navy blue pants and shorts for them to wear, as well as, a pair of black gym shorts. My husband and I showed a photo of what we needed to the associate and she cheerfully brought us to the section that had this particular style of pants. After meeting our needs there she followed up regarding the gym shorts and made sure we were able to locate them without having to search. It was nice to finally find these items after what seemed like an impossible task, after going to so many stores that night. Feeling totally relieved after spending many hours searching for the uniform clothes, we left there feeling grateful that we wouldn't have to go online and wait for the items to be delivered later. I appreciated the personal attention that we received from the associate. She could see that we were weary and said that she understood how difficult it can be to find specific items, like school uniforms, in a small town, on such short notice. Her kindness was genuine and made us both wish we would've started our search at this store in the first place. Some of the prices were a little steep on certain clothes while others were great bargains! I think this is a place to spend some time and really take your time. You'll find some good deals with a little effort. Overall, I would recommend this location primarily for their customer service. It was outstanding, in my opinion. Lastly, while checking out the associate noticed there was a sale going on that reduced the price of some of the items in our cart that we weren't aware of. This Kohls has a large selection of clothes in a variety of sizes, making it easy to find what you're looking for. I do wish they had more actual sales... they do have "sales" but they are still pretty pricey compared to other stores. While you cant quite find what they offer in other stores I'm more likely to shop elsewhere because they are expensive. read more

Ran into an issue at the store. Left without purchasing bras, dresses, and sleepwear. Wanted to bring the problem to the attention of corporate. Went home to go on line to get the corporate email to send concerns. Can't find it so I start a chat asking for the email address. What ensued was a torcherous exchange with the chat person that lasted more than a half hour!!!!! For an email address which ultimately they did not give me. I screen shot the entire conversation, will print it out and send to corporate. I am now so crazy frustrated and irate with the whole situation. No wonder Kohls is in danger for going out of business. They know nothing about customer service...unlike the old Kohls where my daughter worked for years while attending school in PA. Shame on Kohls. Better start listening to your customers and stepping up to reasonable customer service. Bealls here I come to cimete my purchases. read more

my mom and i had went there to get dresses for a funeral we had the next day and my mom needed to use my dads credit card. we understood that we couldn't with out authorization so we decided to talk to customer service and they said we needed an ID and his card and then she would call my dad. so we left and got his credit card, came back and went to go take care of it for her to tell us that they were gonna call someone else and then we couldnt do it. this funeral is for my grandma and weve been dealing with funeral plans and everything and just needed dresses and were mis- informed, also the manager rolled her eyes when we asked to talk to one, just very bad customer service and were told the wrong thing. very rude and disrespectful, on top of it my mom was upset and crying so i asked the guy at the desk to hold the dresses that r over priced anyway and he gave me attitude as well. never want to go to this kohls again. read more

I'm not going to use any names in this but Im a manager other place well reputable in the community. I received a gift card and I was looking at the Bluetooth speakers, so I hit a button and it was barking some commands and this lady I guess was a manager came up to me like a bat out of hell looking at me like I had three heads why are you doing this we close in half an hour,. That wasn't actually said but I know she was thinking it. I, I replied that man I like to purchase one of these speakers so I need to hear it she said you can't even purchasing are all sold out you must go online.... I replied what about the ones on the other side she said nope, out of 25 different Bluetooth speakers there was not one for sale model or anyting back there. I highly doubt that. So I asked another woman at the front of the store that work there, I told her the scenario and she wouldn't know why there wouldn't be any speakers for sale which I understand is that her department but come on now it's a lot speakers don't have one. But let me backtrack a little bit. After I said okay I like knowledge that there is no speakers for sale I stood there and looked at it she didn't move from my side it was calling other workers overheard walkie-talkie to come help her remodel dissection all of a sudden when I was looking for other related items. This is a nice new Kohls and is a terrific place in August as they keep the air conditioning very cold. Kohls sells some nicer clothes though I can not easily find casual pants that come all the way to the waist as I prefer. I am also unhappy that the Daisy Fuentes line stopped selling normal regular shaped t shirts in bright beautiful prints. Vera Wang t shirts do not withstand washing. So I stopped going there. Prices are pretty high and force you to cut coupons. What a drag. read more
