Sadly, the place only has one person working at a time and she was closed for her own dinner. My wife asked me to take a picture of the store name so that she could find out more about it. That's how much she liked what she saw. So when a couple days later, we were back in the area with a few hours to kill before our plane took off, she wanted to drive back here to see if the store was open. It was! I kidded with the owner (?)/person working that she better get ready for a sale! I browsed around the interior of this small shop and was impressed with the eye catching jewelry, colorful dresses, fantastic shoes, and bedazzled clutches that were on display. I knew my wife was going to be there for awhile, so I quietly waited outside at the convenient rest area located in the shopping center commons. At least the music (live) was pretty good. Every so often, my wife would appear wearing a different dress and ask my opinion. I think she was really just making sure I didn't wander off, but I tried to be helpful as she would then go back in and try on something else. She was happy with the dress she bought. I was happy that she found something to make her happy. I also was happy to go get some ice cream afterwards with just enough time to eat it before heading to the airport. Good place to find something cool for beach/summer wear. We had no trouble with the staff who was very attentive and helpful to my wife. Review #2405

They had one particular high heel that looked like a very interesting piece of artwork although it was a shoe that you could slip your foot into and it had interesting lines that swirled and curved around one's foot almost like a staircase. The owner of the shop was incredibly helpful and friendly and showed me a number of shoes in different colors as well as some changeable shoes based on different pieces of flair you could add onto the top/toe area. I didn't buy anything in particular this day, but I will definitely be back to see what they have next time I'm on the big island!

They carry a number of local artists as well as national brands. Just ask if you want to know which pieces are by locals / islanders. I found a cool little pendant that had Big Island sand in it (I know... totally touristy but it was cute and was by a local), and my mom found some beautiful earrings made by a lady on Maui. The lady manning the store was very personable but not pushy. So, she gets a plus for not pressuring us to buy anything but instead gave us tidbits of info on the local pieces/artists. Stop by and say Hi and take your time to look through everything. You might be surprised. :)

I get it, the island doesn't have many shopping options, but when your luggage gets delayed during a connecting flight, you at least need 1) bathing suit 2) dinner outfit and 3) lounge wear. I might have looked plain and tired because I just got off a plane, but i'm an attorney you idiots- people willing to spend money don't always look glamorous!
