The cashier was kind and helpful. The place itself seemed very grab-and-go as opposed to a chill coffeehouse but overall a nice place to chat and relax with others. Whenever we visit Palm Springs this is one of our favorite stops to get our caffeine fix. The service is always above & beyond, we have never had bad service. Todaywe had the pleasure of Michele serving us. She was very upbeat, happy and had a great vibe about her. Very knowledgeable about the coffees and answered all our crazy questions with a smile. First off this place is packed. We stopped by on a Wednesday morning and the place was literally packed. The patio area was full with all tables being utilized. And inside, that was pretty much the same. People like this place. This location is literally across the street from the Ace Hotel and along the main strip of North Palm Canyon Drive. Between the locals and holiday makers, it was very popular. The line inside was pretty long when we walked in. It did take a while till we reached the cashier. Just like your usual coffee places, there's food offered as well. Sandwiches, quinces, salads and of course the pastries. I had to try one of the cinnamon roll with cream obviously. They didn't ask if we wanted it warm up. When I received it, I thought it was ready but you definitely needed it heated up. Had to take it back to the counter for that. Drinks took a while to come out as it was packed. They call your name and you pick it up at the counter. It's a very lively place in the desert which seemed to be quite popular. I saw that there's a new location open in cathedral city. Overall, the place is quite nice and great for a coffee. Probably try when it's not during the morning rush. My first time trying Koffi! Thai location was pretty nice. Friendly service. I liked the outdoor seating too. I tried an iced vanilla latte which is my go-to. I wasn't a fan. I tend to like sweeter coffee drinks and this one wasn't sweet. I saw some other girls adding sugar to their drinks so I'm guessing Koffi is just on the less sweet side. I wish I could've tried one of the teas or energy drinks as well because they looked really good. Still rating this place high because of the vibe and good looking drink options! read more

We drove from Santa Monica to PS for the day and wanted to take a break from sunbathing, so we stopped here to get coffee. I got the Mocha Freeze with 1/2 sweet and no whipped cream, and it was delicious and refreshing! Took it with me to the pool and enjoyed my drink while getting tan. This is a lovely cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating areas, a range of pre-packed food, pastries, etc. Next time, I'll try the Vanilla Freeze. I feel very lucky to have this Koffi location within a short walk of our new condo. It doesn't have the beautiful green patio of the one downtown Palm Springs but it does have a comfortable one with a nice water feature. The appeal of this place other than the fact that it is slightly better than Starbucks was the feeling like they did it all and enjoyed doing it. From what I understand half of the "in-house" roasting isn't even done here anymore it's off in some place like Arizona or New Mexico. I've gotten coffee koffi for years and the bags used to be 1lbs now they are smaller and cost more, same thing with the muffins, if you are going for your first time you are missing out on what used to be a truly great coffee shop. You could hardly fit a muffin into a bag back in the day and they weren't always burnt. Plus the staff is always rotating, I'd go in thinking I'd see a local friendly face and instead it's a whole new team and they can't even call my name out when I get to the end of the bar and am waiting for my drink. Nearly everyday I go in the tables are filthy the staff is on their phone and where is management? If you ask the staff they don't know either. So in closing if you enjoying spending nearly 5 bucks for a small bitter coffee and burnt muffin and being helped by people who clearly don't enjoy working here then this spot is for you. read more

This was my last stop before heading out of the desert and back to LA. I had never heard of this spot but my friend recommended it! As with all the architecture in Palm Springs, this little caffeinated oasis is very pleasing to the eye. It's decorated with these gorgeous cactus plants on the outside. Thankfully every establishment in the desert feels like you're stepping into a walk-in refrigerator so that was nice. I immediately noticed the quiche when I walked in and knew exactly what I wanted. They are made in house that morning and warmed up when you place your order. I went with the chicken, feta, and spinach quiche which was absolutely divine. It's exactly what I needed for the long trip back to reality. It's very filling and shareable! I also ordered a large size of their honey vanilla latte with their strongest coffee. If you're a light weight when it comes to caffeine don't order this. I was definitely feeling the shakes when I got home but it was worth it. Was looking for a coffee break around the area and saw this on yelp so we decided to try! I never have high expectations when visiting Palm Spring, but I never realize how different their vibe is from LA because it's hard to spot coffee shops around there , not even Starbucks lol. I got their Honey Vanilla Latte with 50% sweet because honey is always oberpowere sweetness and I don't want that. 50% is already sweet enough for me but could be less. A Must-Try Coffee Spot in Palm Springs! We saw a very busy coffee shop on our way to Elmer's and immediately knew we had to try it. It was conveniently located just up the street from our hotel, and the buzz was amplified when we met a couple by the pool raving about their iced coffee from there. Naturally, we made it our mission to visit the very next day! This place absolutely nails the Palm Springs vibe. Don't be surprised by the line it can be a mile long, but tbh, that's just a sign of how good their coffee is. With the 104 deg temp already at 9 AM, we ditched our usual hot coffee order for something more appropriate, their coffee freezes. I went with the Malted Mocha Freeze and my boyfriend chose the White Mocha Freeze. Let me tell you, they were delicious! Every sip was heavenly and so refreshing we finished them in no time. The staff deserves a shout out too they were incredibly friendly, quick, efficient, and helpful, clearly used to handling a big crowd. It's great to know they have several locations covering the entire Palm Springs area. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back on our next trip to town. They stock a wide variety of freshly roasted beans. If you dine in you will find the full range of delicious coffee beverages and all fresh pastries to go with. I went back here to meet up with a friend to have a hot beverage and something to eat one morning. Me: "Where are we going to meet up?" Friend: "Koffi South." I didn't know whether I'd be going back here, given that there are other indie coffeehouses in the populous part of the Coachella Valley, let alone three other branches of Koffi, of which "North" looks good in the photos. However, to make things simple, I agreed to eat here. I had hot tea (Earl Grey) and a slice of quiche (they had two varieties and, yes, the quiche jokes are funny). My friend had coffee and a cheese Danish. My food was fine, but not memorable. The Danish and coffee were reported to be good, and quickly devoured before I could get a decent photo. The service varies from just okay to good. It depends on who you're interacting with. They're busy, so they can't be too invested in being obsequious to their customers. Prices are slightly higher than what they should be, but that's my opinion. This Koffi (South) is a landmark. In listening to others, it pulls in loyal locals and visitors alike. The inside tables are grouped against a wall near the entrance (from parking) or along the exterior windows where you'll have the customer traffic ordering and queuing. The ones away from the windows are better but, unless it's in the months that are brutally hot, you probably want to be outside to begin with. The exterior patio has an excellent vibe. It has various sizes of tables, adjustable umbrellas, a view onto Palm Canyon Drive and the Biltmore condo complex (which first started selling units at about $299K), plants, and water features. Also, your four legged friends are allowed on the patio. At an adjacent table, a lady visiting from "the 909" with her relatives, and who had a German Shepherd, was very friendly. The dog also decided that I was its friend. It's good that I had some hand sanitizer after rough housing with this sociable dog. It was my fault. Koffi South is a morning and afternoon place. What I came to learn is that, in general, coffee houses that keep later hours are few and far between in the popular towns in the Coachella Valley. You might find some that close at 9 p.m., with most closing at about 8 p.m. This coffeehouse is a node of sorts, and in an excellent location. That said, the slight upcharge might be to pay your way if you want to do the laptop thing or linger with your friends and family in the outdoor patio because, after all, someone has to pay for the LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION If you can't figure it out, I'm going with 3 stars, albeit 3 solid stars. I'm not in love with their product or service, not being a connoisseur of coffee to begin with, but Koffi South is a place that I, and so many others, would reasonably expect to revisit. read more

We love Koffi for the great service and coffee. We are disappointed they got rid of their famous Cherry Danish. It was so classic and looked forward to it every time. Other suggestion: please consider carrying dairy-free vegan pastries so my husband can have breakfast too! Suggestion#3: keep up the great service - your employees are amazing Thanks for offering coffee in a mug, it tastes great. I've tried the vanilla latte and honey vanilla latte with oat milk with dark roast espresso. The vanilla latte with oat was by far one of the most solid iced vanilla lattes I've had. Not too sweet and you could taste the espresso. The honey vanilla latte on the other hand was too sweet for me. I liked how they gave me an option of choosing light or dark roast for my espresso. They also have tons of other drinks on the menu like fruit smoothies. Koffi coffee would satisfy the tastebuds of the general party. The seating is tight inside. Since the line is so long, it feels crowded to work or enjoy your drink at a table. There are benches outside you could sit at. I'm visiting from out of town to start, so I'm not sure where the line is supposed to start (and there is NO clear sign that says "line starts here"). There were no other customers waiting. I stepped up after the person in front of me finished and I was refused service because I was in the "wrong spot" waiting. I've worked in the service industry for years, the right thing to do is to tell me, "hey, in the future, the line starts over there, but I'll happily take your order." As a local, I've come here for several years and they never disappoint! I always order the cold brew fusion cinnamon vanilla with soy, and it's absolutely delicious. The prices are affordable for a 16 or 24 oz of iced coffee around $5-6. The service is always welcoming and polite. The location is hidden near the ace hotel. It's very quiet and peaceful.
