The staff and vibe are great. The morning staff and crew serve and are always accommodating.

Good lord- what a find! If you're looking for a classic diner with awesome breakfast and even better service, this is your place. It's getting harder and harder to find good drip coffee at restaurants, but we made sure to have multiple refills here. Staff were super friendly and on top of everything. We just absolutely love it here. Fast, friendly service. Clean interior with homey decor. Excellent menu. Our family is on the larger side, so it satisfies all tastes. When we go on Sundays for brunch, some of us have their excellent breakfasts and some like to order lunch. This place is just a really cool combination of southern style breakfast/brunch and Mexican style lunch or brunch as well. So it very much appeals to all tastes. Great kids meals, too. My daughter loves their kid spaghetti and also their mashed potatoes and gravy. My fave is an egg and corned beef hash with grits and toast. My son loves their croissant sandwich. The hubby enjoys the breakfast tacos. The kids love the pancakes. They have fun seasonal items too. Like peach tea and certain pies. On weekends you may be able to snag one of their excellent cinnamon rolls. The only downside...we have to make a beeline after church on Sunday to get a table, especially in winter Texan season! Even then it's usually not too terribly long of a wait though. Week days are always great though. Just can't say enough about how much we love this place! read more

My favorite home cooking feel good spot. I saw something's I wanted to mention the last time I was there. The floors need a little more attention, the roach was dead but didn't need to be there. And I saw 2 long hair females with their hair down but no net. I did have a hair I'm my food but I love this place and I'll still be back. read more

The price for the meal we got were reasonable. It came out to 20.55 but the plates and food were so unpleasant. The place smelled like their restroom smell lingered. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive but I do not blame her for our terrible experience. We ordered huevos rancheros but the sauce was practically tomato sauce from the can. When asked for green sauce to replace the red sauce on the huevos rancheros the green sauce was flavorless and Grey looking and sad. The green sauce just tasted like blended jalapeños and water. The plate came with tortillas de harina (flour) which were practically store bought and hard. We were truly disappointed with the meal and we lowered our expectations on this place. Down home diner feel and friendly staff. this was our first visit and had been hopefu. By far the worst breakfast food I have ever eaten. grits were watery, eggs over cooked, pancakes were straight up like rubber. How do you do that? Koffee Klatch is an old school spot that serves breakfast and lunch. This is definitely a spot for regulars and those looking for Denny's esque food with a bit cheaper price. From what I gather their coffee is good and not of a brand you an buy in stores. I'm not keen on coffee so I can't go into further detail. I got breakfast and the food was OK. The pancakes weren't as soft and fluffy as I like them to be, and the overall experience was OK for the price we paid and for a spot without a large lunch crowd. read more

The experience we had this morning in this place was not good at all. The waitresses were very unfriendly, never smiled n didn't even greet us as we walked in. As a Winter Texan, my wife and I are fortunate enough to be located near Harlingen in a park with a great bunch of people who have been coming to the RGV for many years. The Koffee Klatch was one of the first restaurants we were told about. The breakfasts are tasty and filling for a reasonable price. There's lots of parking, and the restaurant is easy to find. I would recommend this eatery to everyone. read more
