While Rydawell is good at cabinetry (they get 1 star for that), their foray into building out…read morecamper vans (i.e. Sprinter) has resulted in an extremely poor experience for me on the mechanical and quality elements. Not only did the build out take forever (7 months), but since picking up my van on my first/second use, I have had roof leaks because they didn't install the "C" gaskets right for the AC unit, I experienced multiple leaks in the pressurized plumbing system (see pictures below) which caused wood damage to the cabinetry due to poor PEX seals, I still have no relief from the misbehaving (and Rydawell recommended) Ecoflow electrical system, I discovered they failed to insulate the sliding door, they actually plumbed the gray water lines into the BOTTOM of the gray water tank using the same penetration point as the drain (this caused water to back up into the shower pan when using the sinks (not to mention it would fail completely in freezing weather) and I discovered that the Rixen heating system was installed against manufacturer recommendations (to name just some of the issues). This has caused me thousands of dollars to get repaired (so far) at another (competent) van builder. While his hourly rate may seem cheaper, it takes him much longer to accomplish work items. As an example, his quote to install a 2nd battery (which he was supposed to have left room for) was twice as long as I was able to get it done elsewhere by professional van builders.

We approached Ryan to make a walnut trestle table for our dining room, and it is freaking gorgeous. Dec 16, 2020, Hired Mike Howard to repair structural damaged to my home caused by extensive dry rot…read moredamage. This was not a trivial job. The dry rot had compromised a main structural corner beam which supported the second story. The repair would first require building a temporary support to hold up the second story while removing the damaged support beam and replacing all of the dry rot wood. The repair process required first coordinating with a structural engineer to design a repair plan and then with the Snohomish County office to issue a repair permit. Mike was very helpful through the entire process. Mike was confident that he could perform the repair safely and within code without an engineering drawing, but suggested that the drawing would likely be required for the county to issue the permit. I decided to get the engineering drawing and Mike was right. The county flat out said that this repair required an engineering review and drawing. I told Mike I would hire him for the job, but only after I saw and understood what the repair plan entailed. Mike met with the engineer to discuss the repair job and then Mike outlined for me exactly how he would complete the repair. While listening to Mike explain the repair process it was apparent to me that he completely understood the structural design of a home. Having a contractor with this type of experience and knowledge was the only way I would go. Mike was a pleasure to work with. He answered all of my questions with integrity and no BS. I decided to take the 2 days off to watch the work performed. Mike had no issues with this. He discussed the work while it was in process and I always felt comfortable with his decisions and confidence. The work was done in accordance to the engineering drawing and the permit was signed off and closed without any issues. The images show the before and after work, minus the exterior wall board nailed up. I decided to repair the drywall and brickwork myself. Thanks for a wonderful job and experience Mike.

We've used Redmond Handyman Services a handful of times now over the past 1-2 years, and Bill and…read morehis team (his wife and son!) have consistently delivered an amazing service and work product. We recently had them do, among other things, some drywall work, painting, security camera and Nest thermostat installation, mounting/hanging and wiring (behind walls) of a TV, adjustments to uneven and sticky doors throughout the home, repair of a non-functioning power washer, and work on a leaky toilet (again, among other things). Their range is impressive, and their craftsmanship is top notch. VERY high quality, high-grade professional work product. They even bring all of the necessary tools and materials to support whatever the need is, including materials for painting, etc. Very low lift for us as the consumer -- we really didn't have to lift a finger. The best part? All of them are incredible human beings, who are very easy to work with. Their customer service is great -- we provided our requests and instructions, and they ran with things from there and delivered exactly as we had asked. The work is clean and seamless and definitely worth the price. We couldn't ask for a better team, and we'll certainly be using Bill and his family in the future for all of our handyman needs.

At the time of writing, their company website is at https://www.eastside-handyman-services.com/ I recently needed sidewall to be repaired to exact specifications immediately. I am extremely pleased with the results and the overall experience. Responsive. Right after I sent an email to Bill with the paint codes, he replied and followed up with a phone call. They dropped by that Friday afternoon to assess the situation. Great attention to detail. I learned for example that you don't want vertical seams lining up. Quick but thorough. They found an exact replacement, and had the paint mixed that same weekend. In the future, when we decide to fix up our cabinets, drywall, molding, and so on, I intend to call on Bill first.
