They fired the painter because he was not willing to move forward with all the horrible sheet rock repairs. Instead, we had to give them more money to pay for a commercial paint sprayer because they couldn't afford one! Beyond the horrible paint job, they did not install the wood base as asked, They squared all the outside corners of the base, which done correctly would have been at a 45 degree angle. Their response was" This is the only way we do this. We had asked them to finish sanding and painting the nail holes in the base and they said," we dont do that, this is our finished product". We had 3 other painting and restoration companies come look at the work for quotes for repair and it was $31,000. We had to pay them just above that amount to do the horrible work they did.

(no permit 'issues', no long downtimes 'waiting for permit'.) 2. the company is well known by suppliers and vendors... they obtain supplies and equipment easily and quickly. (materials arrive early or on time, no downtimes 'waiting for materials', project stays on schedule.) 3. the company truly cares about project harmony... their attitudes and conduct are respectful of each other, their clients, and the clients neighbors. (no unnecessary noise; our neighbors commented that alot of the time, they didn't even know the builders were 'there' working.) 4. the company "cleans as they build"... any minute they're not building, they're cleaning... there is absolutely NO construction chaos on the property. (waste and scraps went into one pile; magnets were often used ALL over the area to collect nails; tools and equipment were neatly organized every night before they left.) 5. the company is patient and helpful with client "change requests"... and they offer excellent solutions to keep costs under control. (they're super smart about "changes" and how to accomplish them fast and affordably.) As a customer of Bighaus Construction, LLC. we saw that they go "above and beyond".
