I'm the worst mom ever and didn't get my son a Padres shirt before we came for the game. We looked everywhere and stopped by but all they had were large adults shirts. He saw how upset my son was and stopped and asked if we could be back by 4 pm and he would press him one!!! My son was so excited. So kind of him and so appreciative. Thanks again!

As a small business frequenter and advocate for shopping all-things small business, it hurts me to write this review; However, it needs to be displayed. We attended Opening Day at GABP and before we left town the next day, we stopped to support a local, small business that our family had frequented for many years instead of giving money to a giant corporation. We wanted a jersey to honor my late father who took his life on Christmas Day 2017 by getting a Ryan Freel jersey made. Along with that, we took a child's jersey purchased from the Pro Shop, and requested to have it customized. We paid and were told the jerseys would be mailed to us once completed (we live 3 hours north). A few days went by and the jerseys showed up. Wow. I can't even put into words how terrible the quality was. It was SHOCKING - I thought it was a prank. The names were completely crooked. A knock-off Chinese replica would be better quality!! The child's jersey was butchered and would have been better off without being customized. The adult jersey was just a joke. After complaining the first time, we were told things would be made right. We were sent a return label to send back the jerseys. They were "fixed" and returned pretty quickly. The updated versions are no better. The child's jersey is still not satisfactory but since he is a toddler, it's not my issue. My issue is the adult jersey. It remained completely crooked, uneven, and unsatisfactory. A few weeks went by and we decided to head to the shop in person. My boyfriend asked for a refund of the "customization," not even a refund of the entire thing. There was blatant refusal to fix the shoddy work without being upcharged $70. Eventually, the conversation led to my boyfriend being asked to leave and a refusal to fix this atrocious attempt at a replica. In short, save your money on customizations. Buy directly from the Pro Shop. The quality of their work blows Koch's out of the water. The money you're saving by trying to buy a knock-off isn't worth the headache in the long run. Save the embarrassment of the crooked letters. People can tell. Very disappointed. Will not be returning.

Koch has literally everything you could ever want, but finding is the issue. I have never had good service here. I don't know if it's because I am a woman or what, but it sure seems like when I walk in here everyone stares at me and then goes back to what they are doing. Super annoying. On the positive side go in find what you're looking for and support shopping local.

If you can't find your pro team's swag or the right gear for your own sport in this store, it doesn't exist.

While in town, I visited the I Love Cincinnati shoppe to pick up a few souvenirs. This is…read moredefinitely the place to go as they sell all types of souvenirs and apparel. You can find a lot of local sports team merch here too. I picked up a couple of magnets and a WKRP sticker. For those not in the know, WKRP used to be an old sitcom from the late 70's-80's about a radio station in Cincinnati. The shop is located on the 2nd floor of the historic art deco style Carew Tower. This tower is also home to the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland. The interior although grand was sparsely occupied by businesses. Ghost town vibes for sure however the grand architecture within the building is worth walking around in. The only difficulty we had was finding parking. This shop is in the downtown area and parking spaces are hard to come by. My husband ended up driving around and picked me up when I finished shopping.

No signs, nothing, just abandoned space, you keep walking and then you're like well should we try going up these stairs? We finally found someone and asked how to find the gift shop. Up more stairs! So we went and it was really hot up there. I see another review from 2022 about it being hot so I guess they never did fix that AC :P anyway the guy was nice who worked there, friendly and I felt bad he has to sit in that hot store all day. We got our stuff and left. The little expedition made me think to just grab stuff in the airport on our way home from now on :P It's not only Cincinnati but lots of towns it can be hard to find a shop like this.

Have you been to Dicks on Montgomery lately? I'm sure you have as you're all runners out there...I…read moresee ya. Lol Well yesterday the hubby and I stopped in. For many seasons I've been wanting a particular shoe. Not just any shoe-the most comfortable shoe to walk in. And let me just say...it's been elusive to me. Not all of you though because I see ya wearing them and I always say, "Hey! Where did you buy your Hokas around here?? I've been everywhere!" (Obviously I haven't but in my mind I have since I have a nice supply of other brands that didn't make the cut in my closet on my hunt for this brand, lol. Call me a collector.) Before I get to the point-I promise I will, let me just say it's been a couple years since I've been in this Dicks. But last time I was, they didn't have any Hokas, and they had a walking track around their shoes area. After doing a Google search as I was out and about, the hubby was tired of hearing how my feet hurt and starting looking for shoes stores so I thought I should participate. The search kept saying only 3 stores carried them and two of them were in KY. One e of those was Dicks. So we decided to drive to our local one. The point: (Told ya I'd get here ) Making my way to the back of the very clean and organized store, the heavens parted and I heard angels singing-it was really a baby crying but I snapped to reality rubbing my eyes in disbelief at what I was seeing! Hokas!! And not just a few pairs-a whole designated section of them! I promptly shoved my hubby and the crying baby out of the way, calm down this is all mental lol, and made my first pick. Scanned the shoe's barcode in a scanner, and out popped a young man almost instantaneously to serve me. Was it meant to be? Ohh yes. The comfort, the immediate relief on my feet! I was being propelled forward to walk as if these babies were one with body. I boxed them up. Said yes to the shoe. The hubby said aren't you going to try on others? I said, "I found the truth. There is no other. Now go pick yourself out a pair." Lol He did. And he tried on two just because he likes to overachieve. But he settled on the first pair he tried on which, by the way, was the same model as mine only mine are cooler looking. He found the truth too. And the prices were comparable to what's out there so I was happy! Do you want the same experience? Do your feet hurt in your other expensive gym shoes?? Dicks on Montgomery Rd has it. Don't walk-run, but only after you visit Dicks. *Disclaimer: No actual baby was harmed in the writing of this review.

Then they told us the shoes I wanted they didn't have two times and had to wait even longer. Some really crappy service. Final review 2 stars, still go to dicks it's just my experience.

So finding gear for other teams aside from the aforementioned bunch can be a bit of a challenge. Also, I'd much prefer to support a small business or regional chain with roots in the area. My past experiences with this chain were with their Philadelphia and Pittsburgh locations, and the service was outstanding! The employees that I interacted with by phone or email were always professional and prompt with replies to inquiries. I placed my order and it was shipped very fast and well packaged for shipping too. Their website is amazing, with selection for all of the major NFL, MLB, NCAA (even the lesser known schools are stocked to some degree or another), NBA, and MLS too. Oh and they have their city brand which highlights different locales, so if you know a transplant from Cleveland or other locales, and want to get them a shirt or chochtka with reference to said locales, they have you covered. Thanks for yet another great transaction, Rally House!
