I would literally put no stars and highly…read morerecommend all customers of garage doors to STAY AWAY from BOSS Garage Doors also known as, "American Garage Doors!" Upon moving into a rental, we noticed the arm connecting to the garage door came off before we could even move in. So we called the rental agency and they sent American Garage Doors down to take a look. The inspector came and spent literally two minutes to take three pictures then left! He said they'll contact the landlord. Well, come to find out they said that the ENTIRE garage door needed to be replaced because it was our fault! They said The damage was caused by something under the door when it was closing. Mind you, this is the first day we got the keys and we didn't even move anything into the rental and couldn't until we got our UHAUL in a couple days. Long story short, we hired a different garage door company and they were able to confirm our story and disputed the fact that something under the door could not have caused damage to the arm and that something else should have broken first as well as signifanct damage to the panels. This other company also took the time and noticed that the sensors for the door were illegally installed because they were too high and that the motor was turned to full blast to make up for the already existing rust and sagging of the door. Now, we are requesting a written report from American Garage Doors of their diagnosis of the problem to make sure we get in writing what they said. But they have given me the run around for a couple days AND they refuse to answer the phone and actually hung up on us. I am in complete shock! Our front driveway gate…read moreopener had stopped working, we needed a new upper driveway gate installed, and we wanted to replace three sliding glass doors with folding glass doors that we had already shipped to our property. Kawika replaced the electronic motherboard on the electric gate opener. He submitted several estimates for different upper driveway gates, although his prices were quite a bit higher than another installer who replaced the gate. He was prompt and polite always, and the gate opener functioned properly for several months after repair before failing. He returned and fixed the problem, but the gate opener stopped working again. He also offered to try to repair or replace the magnetic sensor that had stopped working earlier in the year. My wife called and texted him several times over the next month to ask him to check on the opener and the sensor, but he never replied. DF
