So, a week or two ago I called Koastal Kleaners based upon a recommendation from a trusted friend. I caught Kory while he was driving, or so he said, and he asked if he could return my call in five minutes when he was off the road. I've not yet had that call! I waited through the weekend and called him again. I reminded him who I was, what occurred during our call, and asked what was going on. He abruptly terminated the call without saying a single word.
Now in the interests of full disclosure this behavior may have been due to an earlier incident, but I can't completely recall. A few months back (could easily have been more based on pandemic, etc.) I called someone about having my home windows cleaned. The gentleman allowed as how he would stop by and provide an estimate. Sometime later (another day) a car drove into my driveway. The driver sat there writing to a clipboard, got out and walked around the house, wrote some more, left the estimate in my door and departed. Since my front windows are tinted, there was no way that this gentleman could have seen the six OTHER windows on the inside of my porch. Since he didn't bother to knock on my door, he had no way of knowing what I might want/need in terms of service; screens washed, swapped in or out, multiple services per year, etc. On top of that, as I recall, the estimate was way out of line with what I expected.
As I said, I've or idea if that was Kory or not. In either case it's no way to operate a service business where the most important part of it might be the customers. Buyer beware. There are other companies out there. read more
