01/26/2015 My husband and I decided to upgrade my diamond after 43 years of marriage. A good friend of mine referred us to Scott at Knutson Jewelers in Clovis. I was looking for a radiant rectangle-cut diamond to fill the rectangle-shaped center of my ring setting. So we went to see Scott and he located a beautiful original radiant-cut diamond with the exact dimensions that fit the center of my custom-made setting just perfectly. He let us look through his jeweler's loupe so we can see exactly what we were considering to purchase. I really admired him for that and it made me trust him and know that he is all about giving people exactly what they ask for. You can have confidence to know that the diamond you're purchasing from him will surpass your expectations. He is a GIA Certified Gemologist and he knows his diamonds. After three months went by wearing this diamond that I examined, approved and wanted when I bought it, I changed my mind and decided I wanted another diamond that was a little smaller instead. Even though that diamond was gorgeous, it was bigger than I felt comfortable wearing. I'm a small person and I felt it was too flashy for me. I was embarrassed to call Scott because the diamond he gave me was exactly what I asked for originally, and it was no fault of his own because he did a beautiful job mounting it. Well I ended up calling him and he couldn't have been more understanding about how I felt. He put me at-ease immediately because he was so nice and willing to let me return that diamond. It was more important to him that I was completely happy. So he bought the diamond back from me. He searched his contacts until he found another exceptional, but smaller radiant-cut diamond that he knew would also look amazing in my ring setting. I absolutely love this new diamond because I feel it is a much better fit for me. I really appreciate his time and the efforts he made in order to make me completely happy and satisfied. I don't know if any other jeweler would have been as accommodating and willing to take the diamond back after 3 months of wearing it. The quality of Scott's work is nothing less than superior. I don't usually write Yelp reviews however, I really wanted to make a statement. I first crossed paths with Scott through my ex-husband. I loved Scott's work then, so years later when I remarried I knew he was the person to create the exact ring I had in mind. At first, my request was insane. I was asking for a "teardrop" shaped center, based off of a "round" stone. Scott literally asked, "you want a teardrop shaped ring, based off of a round solitaire...is that what you're saying?" All I replied was "yeah, basically!" Weeks later, this is what he created for me! He used a diamond that was given to me through my husbands family and created a ring truly unique and just breathtakingly beautiful while honoring a family stone mixed with modern ideas. Knutson Jewelers knocked it out of the park (or should I say orbit) when they designed and created a custom pendant for me. I wanted something to commemorate my family. How they are my sun, moon. and stars, and how they are my past, present, and future. Scott took my vision and ran with it. At first, I thought I needed to keep it all simple because I didn't think he could bring my ideas to life fully but boy did he prove me wrong. If you want someone who is detail-oriented and will create a one of a kind piece for you, he's the best jeweler in town. If you look at the photo, the little charms are three dimensional. The moon has craters. The stars are dancing. The hourglass isn't merely flat. The roots they dangle from are gnarled with detail. I could not have been happier with Scott and the finished product. I came in for an engagement ring with really no knowledge, and he sat down with me and went over all of the aspects of the diamond and the ring. He went through a great process, focusing on exactly what I wanted the ring to look like at each step. This review is long overdue, but after having trouble with a local diahonest jeweler, I walked in to get my wife's ring resized and he was able to do it in under 2 hours. Which was great since we were headed to Oregon the next morning. Then about 2 months ago she damaged the ring and he fixed it fast and it looked better than new. The custom jewelry is beautiful and fairly priced. The pieces that aren't custom are also significantly cheaper than you would find elsewhere, especially considering you wouldn't find that quality in a normal jewelry store. Very fast and friendly, and the dogs are great. I highly recommend you do business here. Honest people and prices you can't beat. read more

I looked all over the Fresno Clovis area to get my ring repaired. The ring required some very delicate gold welding. No one would touch it. I was finally referred to Knutson Jewelers in Clovis by another jeweler in the area. Knutson Jewelers has a specialty jewelry laser welder for intricate repairs. The staff was very helpful explained the process. They even took me back to view the laser welder and explained how it works. This company really knows the jewelry business. I'm sold...
