We had gotten some quotes from other painters and none were this organized so we knew the job would be done well and efficiently (and it was). They didn't protect the windows from the stain. I pointed this out and they returned to clean the windows. There are still smudges on the glass that they weren't able to remove. My front steps have multiple stain marks on them now. I asked Jody to fix the problem. He said he would be over during the week of 8/4 to correct it. I haven't seen or heard from him since. There are multiple areas on the siding with incomplete coverage as shown below. The quality of the work was far below what I expected based on the project cost.

Since then if the house has had any damage due to water, leaks, etc. they have come back and done a perfect job of fixing the ceilings/walls. Victor wrote me a very detailed quote and we negotiated a price. As my work progressed there were a lot of changes and things had to be redone many times. Victor was always willing to work with me. He painted my cabinets to make them look fresh and new. He painted around wood molding, painted my tin ceilings, my walls and many hard to reach areas. He also had great color recommendations. He often worked late into the night and even weekends to get my job done. Ultimately the job went on much longer than either one of us expected (not his fault in the least) and we had to renegotiate the contract. It was all done with good communication and respect. I experienced College Pro "managers" setting up shady interviews at Dunkin' Donuts where they try to prey on college students who are naive. I have never met anyone who was satisfied with the work they have done, and I truly mean that I have never met one person who has worked for College Pro and had a good experience. I am currently a student at a university and I receive at least one email per week from a College Pro "manager" trying to persuade me and my peers of how great this opportunity and how we'd better act fast before this amazing opportunity is gone. However anyone with half a brain can realize we would not be receiving constant emails if it were a legitimate business. Legitimate businesses have people coming to them WANTING to work, they don't send out mass emails to solicit slave labor from poor college students. The one who was a supervisor came over to do the estimate without a tape measure or pen and paper. If he would have asked I could have given him the measurements for the decks. Instead he paced them off and then went home and wrote the estimate. My daughter hired them because they were the cheapest($900). They don't know how to cut in when painting and got paint on the siding of the house. They tried to use rollers for everything including the railings. Needless to say they left a lot of bare spots. They did not cover the air conditioning condenser under the porch and it is now brown and white.They refused to do the cracks in the porch saying it wasn't part of the job and when pressed to do it said they would for another $1100. They also painted over the hinges on the gate instead of masking them or taking them off. This was a brand new porch and deck.
