I called Big Nate's around 11:00 pm, the night before Easter Sunday. Not only did she answer the phone, she also arrived at the KOA on the time that she quoted me. She had a excellent attitude plus asked me to wait in my car versus getting bit by mosquitoes. I can't express enough how grateful I reached this company even though I tried and failed with 3 other companies. Not only were they reasonably priced but they were also very efficient and successful with opening the 2 separate locks on the door. I highly recommend them to anyone in need who mistakenly locked themselves out. Plus, plus, plus!!!

He came in an unmarked car and no uniform. The receipt he gave me was a generic pad that you can get at the dollar store. No company address or logo. He didn't give me an estimate. He even asked for a tip! He left the boxes the locks came in. Two locks per set. He used three boxes. I checked the UPC on the boxes. Turns out they retail for about 15.00 each. He was at my house for one hour. Even with labor and service call and parts the cost should have only been about $200-300. I immediately called to complain about the charge. He first said that he didn't service my address. After repeated calls, he agreed to an $856. refund. To date I've only gotten back $300. This guy takes advantage of people. Avoid this company! Most older Volvos can have their keys programmed by a third-party locksmith--it's hit or miss depending on the model. Newer Volvos, typically 2015 and up, absolutely require dealership access to program keys, which can cost several hundred dollars. I called around to about 10 other locksmiths, and none of them wanted to touch the Volvo. Joel on the other hand, immediately said, "I'll give it a shot. He showed up on time, was communicative, polite, and professional. Although the key couldn't be programmed to the car (a known challenge with some Volvos), he still tried--and with that enthusiasm left a great impression. They do house calls for unlocking cars, change the locks on your doors, make keys and just about every service a locksmith provides. True story, I tried a "verified" business on one of the apps, only to get completely scammed by a locksmith. Since that time I have been asking around and a few of my friends said "Pierre on Sunbeam" and that was the right answer. From the time I first spoke to them on the phone, they made me aware of what the maximum cost would be to get me a new key FOB. There was a caveat that they needed to see the car to make sure, which is exactly what I did. And from the time I entered, to the time my parts were ready, they were professional, proficient and honest. Want to know something else, the price they quoted me was more than what they charged. The owner simply said, "it did not take me as long as I thought". But that is not even the best part - I had a latch on my center console he fixed and later texted me the repair part I needed with the caption "when it comes in, I will put it in for you". Also, they have a cool in store set up with lanyards, hidden key boxes, fake rocks to hide hidden keys, color coded keys and lots other cool gadgets. I really like to find businesses that stand by their work, are honest about costs and go the extra mile. Well guess what, I found one and if I could I would give them 10 out of 5 stars, I would.
