I felt completely at ease with Jamie, like I have known her and been friends with her my entire life. This usually isn't the case for me, so it's definitely a good thing. I have never had a reiki Attunement before, but I have had a massage done which contained reiki healing and I can tell you it's not the same. The session is more conversational at first, then she scans you while you are laying back with headphones on and you are concentrating on breathing and positive energy. Then afterwards we talk about what reiki is, what it has the power to do, what it cannot do, how we can become stronger and confident in ourselves, our gifts/reiki. She took time and answered all my (many) questions and helped with my even more curiosities. Then we do a meditation, and then the Attunement is given. The Attunement is for life and doesn't go away. I will for sure be attending other sessions with Jamie and looking forward to learning so much more on this journey. Jamie, if you are or read this, thank you for everything , I am so psyched for what the future holds.

Update: since my mom has passed away I've started going to Jeni more regularly in attempt to remedy back pain from sleeping in a chair for four years. The relief she has provided me has been life changing. Also, she's helped me to understand the pain and how i can help extend the healing properties of massage at home such as certain stretches. Her personalized approach to care is what I appreciate most as well as her ability to make me feel relaxed at each session. The reiki has been an amazing experience too. I cannot say enough for the healing properties of this type of energy work. It's helped me in so many ways thru the last few months of grieving. My favorite package is the mind body sole.
