This community is a home to those who want to learn about mindfulness meditation and the art of living a mindful life. The inspiration for the teaching come from Thich Naht Hanh and the Buddha's teaching. They offer classes, workshops, a full day of meditation, different retreats and more. Some classes are donation base, some are not. Overall it's open for anyone in the community. I used to come more often to the weekly meditation on Sundays but then I got busy teaching at the same time it was offered. I try to come once in a while to the monthly Saturday meditation day. It's once a month on a Saturday from 9-4. They offer some meditation, then walking meditation, then Darmha talk ( teaching) lunch etc. everything is done in silence... The facility is beautiful and currently they are building residential wing I believe. You can register on line to receive their newsletter and know. I recently started yoga the last few months and it's nice that these classes are challenging yet accessible for all levels. The staff is very friendly, the studio is comforting, clean and you leave feeling great. I'll definitely be back and would recommend this studio to anyone looking to get into yoga. Sofia was so sweet and made me feel at ease immediately . She created a very peaceful and calming space and led me into what would become a memorable experience I'll cherish for years to come. I decided to go with the flow and see what happened. Te be quite frank, I still don't know what exactly happened, but I felt very awakened, alert, and connected to a different dimension. As the session went on, I felt at peace and I even experienced an out of body experience. I can't fully explain how or why this happened, but whatever it was- it was truly mind bending. The different sensations, sounds, and smells jolted me into a release like no other. Tears rolled down my checks. As Sofia finally guided me back to her, I thought how great it would be to float in that space just a while longer. I didn't realize how much time had passed since we started! As I opened my eyes, I laid still going over everything I had just experienced, trying to make sense of it all, but also holding on to the last little bit of bliss. I was filled with gratitude and in awe of the experience Sofia, with her incredible talent, had just guided me through. I left her studio that night and slept like I haven't slept in years. I'll be booking my next session very soon!

Let me begin by saying that my first reiki session with Lisa was amazing. But, that is where the…read moregood feeling end. I booked a package of reiki sessions with her in September of 2025. After the first session, she told me she'd reach out within a few days to schedule our next session and send follow up notes with items I can work on. I didn't hear from her for about a week and a half (after I reached out to her). She scheduled our next session. The day before she cancelled it, stating that her son was sick. I understood. No big deal at all. The next week, cancelled again. I didn't hear from her for weeks after that. She told me the place she'd been working out of flooded and that we'd have to switch to distance reiki (which is not what I signed up for, nor is it what I paid for). I told her I wasn't comfortable with that and kindly asked for a refund. She didn't respond for over a week. And said she'd like to schedule a call to talk through things. I hesitated, but agreed to talk with her. I didn't hear anything back. So, a week later I told her I didn't want to continue in the program any longer (it was early November by this point). She changed the terms of our agreement, so she agreed to refunding the money I'd paid her upfront (I have her agreement in writing). She told me she'd initiated the refund and the money would be back in my account within 21 business days. After many emails, calls and texts asking where my refund is, I have yet to hear anything back. Lisa stole money from me. She is not a healer. She is a fraud. I have filed a police report and have turned her into the district attorney's office in the hopes of recovering the money she owes me. Beware of people who act like they're healers, but are really just looking to take advantage of vulnerable people.

If you have never done yin yoga, you are in for a treat! A slower stretch that really causes us to slow way down and stretch our tired muscles. The studio is clean, comfortable and everyone is super duper friendly. If I didn't live as far as I do from Karma, I would absolutely be back more frequently. An awesome studio!
