I've loved the few times I've been to BC and their Lakeland events, but today really made me…read moreappreciate this place. I went to a 5:30 barre class and during the warmup began feeling very lightheaded. I hadn't eaten enough, and I just realized it. I sat down a couple time during the class (which felt especially awkward since there were only 3 people in class) because I feared I'd pass out. This happens a lot to me, but it's not fun. I felt the color flush from my cheeks. The instructor checked on me quietly to make sure I was fine, and had the front desk attendant follow up. I was eating nuts in the lounge area and the front desk girl offered me an ice pack and protein bar. I took the bar and ate it but still wasn't feeling well. She checked on me again and offered to give me a free class pass so I could come back and actually enjoy the workout. She cleaned up my mat and equipment for me and told me to feel better. As someone who's fainted at concerts, doctor's offices, fast food restaurants, and everywhere else, I know how embarrassing it can be. These ladies made me feel so comforted!!! They kept class going so I didn't feel like a distraction, made sure I was okay and ensured I'd be back to appreciate the class another day. Love this community of kind hearted women!

Thank you Pure Barre Brandon for a great Mother's Day workout!…read more I was visiting family and wanted to get my PB workout in. I love the amount of merchandise and beachy themed sticky socks they have here. (Even though I didn't have much time to shop). Kelly was great at helping me make a purchase and pay for a one time class. She was also the instructor and really easy to follow and encouraging. Like my home PB studio, this place was pretty clean and well kept inside, with the exception of a squeaky, sticky entrance door. It was nice to see a studio so close to my hotel and easy to find. I hope to come back next time I visit family.

I had a really disappointing experience in this Pure Barre class, mainly because of how rude the…read moreinstructor Jocelyn was. From the moment class started, her tone felt dismissive and unwelcoming. When I asked a simple question, I was met with a short, irritated response instead of helpful guidance. Throughout the class, the instructor came across as impatient and uninterested in supporting anyone who was new. She was too busy on her phone and got to class late. I almost assume the gym was closed. There was little to no effort to correct form or ensure people were doing movements safely, which is especially concerning in a barre workout. The overall vibe felt uncomfortable and almost intimidating rather than encouraging. A fitness class should be a positive, supportive environment, and this was the complete opposite. I won't be returning for any of Jocelyn's classes. Now I know why the class was empty and out of 4 people that was there 3 left after her rudeness. On the other hand Karina is an amazing instructor!

My physical therapist had basically written me off as incurable and told me I would be in pain forever. I was then told about Spark Pilates and about Jennifer by several people in the community whom she had helped. I am only 40, an ex-competitive athlete, was in the Military, and worked out for years, so not being able to be active was truly a major concern for me, especially because I have two young children that I wanted to be able to play with. She not only took the time to listen to me about what my problem was but she designed a program specifically for me and was patient while I learned a entirely new form of exercise. She was knowledgeable, understanding, warm, and sincerely genuine. After only a month of sessions I had no pain and was able to stop the injections and begin living a pain free, active lifestyle again. She truly cares about her clients and goes the extra mile to make sure that you are taken care of. I have nothing but good things to say about Spark and the staff there. Man or woman, young or old, if you are looking for a place that will work with you to obtain your goals, I highly recommend Spark Pilates and Jennifer!
