The food tasted good but it was not anything I couldn't have cooked and just as well. The salad was just lettuce and dressing, the merry me chicken was a dish I have cooked 100 times and the steak was a simple flank steak. For $225 a person I would have expected much more. The only thing that was a "regional dish" from Sedona were cactus fries, they were ok, the aioli was delicious. Plain cheesecake for dessert. I think what put it over the edge for me was there wasn't even a thank you from him after we paid him. The bright side was his wife made amazing drinks! My husband planned a last minute getaway to Napa as a surprise for my birthday and contacted Chef Travis to cook us a birthday lunch at our AirBnB. Chef Travis is AMAZING and his partner Lani is so creative! She did a very cute setup for us with her unique choice of table cloth and props. She was also very kind and offered to take pictures for us as a memory while we enjoyed the wine tasting and lunch experience with chef Travis. He transformed our dining experience with so many different flavors and textures. He also accommodated our request for egg-fee pasta and egg-free tiramisu (a rare thing) as we are vegetarians and do not eat eggs, seafood nor meat. The food portions were plentiful. Travis and Lanni exceeded my party's expectations! The food was INCREDIBLE. Travis was very accommodating for a variety of dietary preferences including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian. A delectable escape in Napa! I contacted Chef Travis Gee for hosting a birthday lunch for my wife at our AirBnB. He was quick to respond over the phone and made a last minute booking not only possible, but also effortless for me. I was worried at first as this was my first time booking a private chef. I opted for a four course lunch with wine tasting. We are vegetarians and do not eat eggs, meat, poultry or seafood. He suggested multiple vegetarian options for me to pick from and was open to suggestions. He also accommodated our request for egg-fee pasta and egg-free tiramisu (a rare thing). I received a proposed menu within minutes and we were able to finalize details based on it. On the day of, chef and his partner Lani (I hope the spelling is correct) arrived on time and we were asked to sit back and relax while they did the prep. They brought everything they needed - a folding table, a charcoal grill, tabletop stove, tablecloth, napkins, and other equipment, etc. Once the prep was done, we were welcomed to a beautifully arranged bar counter for wine tasting, followed by an equally beautiful dining table set up in the backyard. They brought their own unique table cloth, placemats, napkin rings and props. The chef was very knowledgeable about wine and pairings with food. All food was cooked in front of us, and the presentation was gorgeous. We had one of the best butternut squash soup and the best ravioli I have had in my life! The chef and his partner are very friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed the conversations with them and learned a thing or two about wine and food. Overall, it was a five star experience that we will always remember! I highly recommend their services and look forward to booking them again. read more

Chef Travis Gee is the man! We had some of best friends from our NYC days come from out of town recently and got an Airbnb in Sebastopol so we could enjoy great weather, wine, company and some amazing food. However, we all have kids under 5 years old, it's a f**king pandemic, so our options were limited. Sure we got pizza one night - shout out to Acme, then we hit Fern Bar...food amazing, our kids...slightly out of control...I digress. Anyway, we decided to splurge a bit and see if we could get a private chef to come out on Saturday and Chef Gee was available (to be clear, called him a week before - give him enough time as he sources these ingredients fresh y'all). What a damn good choice for us too. He's easy to chat with, explains every one of his menu options clearly, keeps it seasonal and local. We decided on the Ocean tasting menu and holy shit...it delivered. His girlfiend, Lanni (sp?) assisted with him as well and she just so happens to be a bartender and Brazilian so should set up a bar and made traditional Brazilian Capairinha's while we all enjoyed every damn dish that came out. Chef Gee happened upon some really fresh and great look scallops at the fist market so he decided to just throw those in...oh wait, the best part. Before he even start on those...he had a giant pot of boiling water going and some of the best friggin mac n cheese I've ever tasted...plated and ready for the kids. I should have taken pictures...these kids destroyed that mac n cheese. We had to give them all baths. And I may or may not have said...fuck my lactose intolerance. I'm in. It was so darn good...and this was the real deal mac n cheese - fresh cream, butter, soft cheese...those little noodles. Damn. Good. Back to the adult meal - bacon-wrapped scallops from a charcoal grill, ahi tuna poke cones - fresh as can be, some damn good Dungeness crab cakes, cedar plank salmon...oh yeah also fresh...thank you Bodega Bay...and then this lime chocolate dessert thing that literally blew everyone away. Lanni...those chocolate truffles you left us too...wow, sorry, kids got none of those...we ate them for breakfast. Meanwhile, drinks, as I mentioned, were on point, the old fashioned's she made were some of the best I've had, and the company was great too. Travis and Lanni are just straight-up good, fun people. For everything we got...more than reasonable on the price too, and I'm convinced I need to do this more often and I know who'll I'll be calling. read more
