Working with Abe for our first home purchase was the best thing that ever happened to me and my wife. Not only did he help us with our loan, he was thoughtful about how to structure it, thought through numerous strategies and even helped us think of things from a tax liability standpoint. When it came to re-fi, Abe proactively reached out, secured us a great new loan (no points, no fees) right before rates shot back up. We closed quickly, he reviewed our contracts, and I couldn't be more happy about our outcome! He is the FULL PACKAGE and I will never buy or finance a house without Abe moving forward. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Abe helping us to refinance our mortgage. He explained every detail and answered every small question, and helped us get what I believe is an unbelievable rate. Most of all, he made the whole process really painless. Honestly, we were in good shape before the refinance, and if it was any trouble at all, we might not have gone through with it, so I was really glad with how little work I actually needed to do in the end. Of note, we did this all remotely as well, so there was no COVID concerns at all. All phone and email. read more

Abe Knobel is the BEST! We recommend him for all buyers--first-timers, upgraders, and down-sizers! He is a teacher but not condescending. He has professional connections but is not exclusive. With him in our corner, we felt 100% confident that we were getting the best service and the best rate possible. I've been dealing with Abe for about 15 years now. I've done several refi's with him because he always gets the absolute lowest rate and his service is the BEST! In fact my last refi, Abe went and pulled some city documents about my property (with my permission) to prove it was NOT a duplex so I could get the absolute lowest rate. (I had converted my garage so my aging mom could live there). He goes above and beyond. Couldn't recommend him any higher. read more

Abe really came through for us, giving us a great set of options with a variety of terms to choose from, until we were able to hone in on the best loan for us, with a really low interest rate. He will go the extra mile to find what you're looking for -- his offerings were by far the best compared to other inquiries I made. He is also easy to communicate with. He was very patient about answering our questions and once we were ready to proceed, he moved swiftly to ensure that escrow had everything they needed and that our loan was finalized in the time frame he'd promised. Painless process and now we are saving money every month thanks to Abe! read more

Our family has used Knobel Financial Services on several occasions... including loans for a primary residence and an investment property. In both cases, we found Abe to be professional, thorough and extremely knowledgeable and.... no surprises at closing!!! The rate as quoted... was the rate as funded!!! In fact, on one occasion, we received a very favorable rate quote, plus a 2 point fee, from another loan broker... Abe was able to match the rate with no fees!!! Unfortunately, I can only give Knobel Financial Services 5 stars.... yelp doesn't go to 10!!! read more

If you want to watch magical things happen, call Abe! Twice now, Abe has saved us! We first met Abe five years ago, two weeks before we were due to close escrow, our loan officer told us we weren't going to close. I was six months pregnant and almost went into labor after hearing that! Abe quickly came to the rescue, stepped in, and within weeks, we were closing escrow and moving into our home. Flash forward five years later, we purchased a bigger home (outgrew the last one, because kids grow up fast and need a lot of space!) and we didn't hesitate to call Abe. He found us an incredible loan, and made another miracle happen- because, apparently, we had to test his skills for a second time around! Abe is truly knowledgeable about the loan products available, as well as finding you the best pricing out there to help save you money on the little things- like escrow fees, and appraisal fees (which add up). He is like an uncle who looks out for you, and most of all, he is honest. I trust Abe immensely and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a mortgage. He knows his stuff, and he's also a really nice guy, so why wouldn't you want to work with someone who is honest, reliable, kind, fair and funny? read more

Abe was so helpful during my entire escrow process and ensured that my loan was secured way in advance of the closing date.
