We are data-driven consumers who needed an agent who would also be attuned to data, understand that we didn't know what we didn't know, while also expertly guiding us along our journey in a manner that allowed us to explore, evolve, and grow. Kaylyn is an extremely organized, responsive, and emotionally intelligent realtor who will adapt to each client's baseline knowledge, needs, and timelines. We knew instantly that we would be a match due to her ability to lay out the path to homeownership in a digestible way, and with the patience to guide us from day 1 to the journey's end. Especially for a first-time buyer, we needed the comfort of a realtor who showed zero pressure and acted 100% in our best interests, whether through recognizing faults, hidden value, historic trends, honest future projections, and giving space when needed. With regard to the closing process, Kaylyn and her network of trusted mortgage consultant/lenders, home inspectors, etc., in addition to her bringing her A-game (as always) and overcommunicating during this pivotal period, made for an efficient and rock-solid sprint to the finish line. Above all, Kaylyn is a true professional whose values and ethics shine through with every action and communication. We are so grateful to have established our professional relationship with Kaylyn as she is an agent who truly is in it for the long game: she is responsive, caring, protective, punctual, and, without question, always follows through. Even weeks after the completion of our purchase, when Kaylyn heard that we may have had an unexpected plumbing issue (did not turn out to be an issue at all), she was on the phone/email with our home warranty service within minutes and gave us several options and the pros/cons...a true professional. We would recommend Kaylyn to all of our closest friends and family, and look forward to working with her again in the near future.

She was the seller's agent, however she was super informative and kind to share her honest thoughts to go with something more within our needs (ie although I really loved the home, I needed an outlet to charge my car plus it had high HOA fees... I had no idea what that was, but she explained it to me in detail!) She said to us: all I need is a handshake, and nothing else! And we could not have asked for a more thorough and diligent realtor. She checked-in with us regularly via text and email, she answered calls and worked with our schedules-even until 12am! What!?! We've been working with her since January, and she has been so patient with us and our frequent changes in search criteria hahaha. Thanks so much Kaylyn!!! She literally put in her time and effort to make sure that we understood everything, provided professional/low cost referrals, and sat down with us to review 100s of pages (no, literally). If you like someone who won't respond to you right away, don't go with Kaylyn. She will not only email you right away, she responds to texts and makes sure to call you for clarifications. Trust me, go with her, and you will thank me and everyone else who wrote a review for her. The five star ain't a joke, people!

We were looking in Northeast LA in particular, where Giulia was armed with incredible expertise, extensive experience, and so, so much patience. Giulia understood the terrain of Northeast LA real estate in remarkable depth and detail, and also helpfully walked us through her insights. Even as she steadfastly went to bat for us with other sellers' agents, she also always took the time to explain and walk us through each new step we encountered. Not only is Giulia wildly knowledgable and comprehensive, but she also has incredible instincts and taste. She was both able to see through houses that were over-hyped due to superficial elements and also to see the potential in houses that were gems in the rough. Giulia is imaginative and savvy, while also a complete professional and delight. Giulia is warm and generous (I feel like I got a crash course in Real Estate 101 through our search), and never made us feel guilty or pressured. She was tireless and committed throughout our search, which lasted a little over 7 months. (In the few instances she was away on travel, she was always available through text and email. And her partner, James Maxwell, is also a mensch and was there to support us.) But even after closing, Giulia has remained a key figure in our new adventures in home ownership, from responding to texts about renovation bids to even still now texting me back about new listings I see through the Redfin listserv from which I still haven't had the heart to unsubscribe. We absolutely adore Giulia and I'm already fantasizing about the next opportunity that we can work with her again.

And, equally as important, was friendly and engaging throughout the process. Maggie was available nearly around-the-clock and this proved invaluable. I had used my V.A. guaranty to secure my loan. An unexpected hiccup occurred with the appraisal which could have caused tremendous disruption to the process. Maggie, however, liaised superbly with my broker, the seller's agent, and all other involved parties, and everything went as smoothly as one could wish given the V.A.'s minor foot-dragging.
