I first reached out to K&L Industries in May of 2021 to do a driveway paving job for us. Charley Watt, one of their salesmen came out to look at our job and take some measurements to give us a bid. He was right on time and a very pleasant man to work with. I was impressed with his knowledge and suggestions he made as he surveyed our property. Their bid was comparable and reasonable to other bids we got. We hired them immediately. Sadly, my husband got diagnosed with cancer and we had to delay our paving. Summer of 2022, we began building some retaining walls we needed before paving. K&L kept in contact with us throughout the process, checking our progress. They were quite patient with us as we had to keep putting things off due to my husband's health issues. We finally set a paving date for late August. On Friday, August 29, 2022, K&L's paving prep crew showed up. Paul, Aaron and Michael were a pleasure to work with. They promptly got to work preparing our place for the asphalt to be laid. These guys went above and beyond their normal duties helping us move gravel piles and trim trees. The paving crew showed up promptly Monday morning. I walked the property with their foreman Kyle doing changes to our normal measurements and then they got to work. He and his crew were a delight to work with. Both crews were friendly, very proficient with their time and left our place clean. We found K&L to be an incredibly personable and caring company, who were exceedingly easy to work with. We are beyond grateful to their staff for their prayers, treating us like family, going above and beyond to get our job done, being flexible and doing an absolutely fabulous job. i'm at Canby residence who needed a blacktop repair on a very long driveway. I contacted numerous black top. Coding companies had two responses. The most favorable response was from KL asphalt paving in Canby Oregon. The owner Keith Callaway visited my property provided an estimate and I indicated that it was leaving town within a couple of weeks, he went out of his way to make sure that his time frame met my time frame which is outstanding I'm a retired military person and I love organization and his company did provide that organization. They showed up professionally ready to do work exactly at the time indicated crew was professional. I don't remember all the workers names but I do remember to. They're both name one they treated the driveway left. I called the owner, Keith Callaway and told him that you were a couple of spots that I didn't think were quite right he sent his manager Adam over and looked at it. Keith Callaway called me later and said that he would be back in two days to correct whatever is wrong and they r manager Adam over and looked at it. Lake Bible Church located in Lake Oswego, Oregon is a church with a large parking lot. The church was constructed in 1992 and the parking lot has existed since then and over the years has required a lot of maintenance including repaving and seal coating. The work that has been performed in the past was excellent. But, we needed a company with superior knowledge and reasonable pricing. Finally, we achieved that mixture of skill, devotion to superior performance, and reliability and that company is K&L Industries. Their website is not mere puffery about what this company is about and that is seen at every level from coordination to completion. We got our road paved by K&L Ind. We really wanted the old cracked and deteriorating road repaired. The county answered our prayers and K & L did the project. We heard about the project about 6 months ago. A lot of confusion about time lines and what the scope was. It was great when K&L employee came by a few days before the work was going to start. He was walking up and down our street with two kids. One in a stroller. Handing out information sheets and answering questions. Putting the info sheets on doors. It was a surprise too see someone out after normal hours spreading the news and putting the neighbors at ease. After hearing that there might be short waits at times but, everyone would be able to use the road. We could just sit back and watch the miracle happen. We lucked out and got a new road. I needed a company to resurface my asphalt drive - 8 years old, in good shape, but ready for some TLC before it starts to crack and break down. I chose K&L because they operated like a real business i.e. a professional website, polite and responsive service on the phone, and a written estimate that documented what I should expect in terms of price and their/my responsibilities. The crew showed up on time with clean uniforms, good attitudes, and pleasant dispositions. The work was done efficiently, neatly, and in the time estimated. The finished product looks great! I received quotes from 4 other vendors. K&L price was somewhere in the middle. What l liked, in addition to the above, was they were using a product that clearly showed they were considering what is best for this time of year, the weather/temperature, and what they were covering. A 5 star company with 5 star employees. K and L paved my driveway October of 2022. It was a great experience from beginning to end. I appreciate K and L on their patience while I got my act together after failing to get the proper permit and failing to get the final inspection. Once paving started they were ontime and on budget. Each employee I spoke with was friendly and knew what needed to be done. The drive way looks great! In a couple of years I have another project for them and K and L will be my first call. It took two months for the company to get back to me about the issues with the seal coat job and when they finally came back to make it right they did a horrible job on the sealcoat crack filling and left a mess of seal coat on my perfect driveway entrance. Then the crew said they'd caution tape my driveway entrance to prevent anyone from driving over the new sealcoat - and they did not do that. An office worker had to drive out to caution tape the front an hour after they left. read more

This fall we had our driveway paved by K&L. We did in combination with our neighbor, a joint project. The quote was very competitive and easy to make adjustments to the scope of the project. One morning to prep the site and the next day the entire project was completed. We even made minor adjustments on the day of paving. A very helpful crew and a great job.
