I was so happy to find another yarn store on my travels, but I'm sad to say I DIDNOT feel welcomed at all. Not one hi when I walked in the door, then trying to checkout I had to asked then I felt like I was bothering the lady there. Pretty sad that not all people are welcomed in certain places. Hurts my heart! I put 1 star because I had to, or else I won't have put any. read more

Great shop with standard offerings and alot of yarn from dyers in Wyoming and Montana. The lady at the shop was very helpful too!

Very nice yarn store. I was visiting the area and always like to check out the local shop. They carry a lot of local yarn and yarn from Montana. I like that my souvenir yarn has a local connection. The women working at the shop was so pleasant (she was from New jersey, sorry forgot your name). I would definitely plan a top at this great yarn store if in the area. read more

My hubby and I were on vacation, driving through WY. I and getting frustrated with my current knitting project. I mentioned as much to my husband and, being Mr. Fix It, he suggested I try and find a yarn shop in Jackson to see if I could find what I needed. Yelp didn't let me down. Sure enough, Knit on Pearl was only a few miles away. I went in looking for some new needles. When I described my problem to (I think the shop owner), I got a knitting lesson instead. She told me that the needles that I had were fine, I just wasn't using them correctly. She spent close to an hour showing me how to correctly use the needles. I ended up spending close to an hour (but it felt like 10 minutes) learning a new technique and talking about knitting! The shop is filled with everything that you'd find in a much larger store, but in a cozy, comfortable shop. I highly recommend Knit on Pearl for the selection of yarn, knitting/crocheting accessories, and above all, the customer service. The next time I'm in Jackson, a stop at Knit on Pearl will be at the top of my list. read more

Drove by to discover that they are closed on Sunday. Closed on Sunday's, don't understand retail businesses that are closed when people are off work, especially on high peak drop in days. This is a tourist town. The mass of people walking by the shop is incredible, there is no parking for blocks, in income potential loss. Why, why are you closed on a weekend? If you need a close day, choose a week day. read more

Adorable little shop with a great selection of specialty yarn. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Will visit again for sure!

The shop owner, Rachel, spent at least an hour chatting me with, showing me all her different yarns. All the regional yarns are up front. Standard wools are near the back. The shop is well organized and there are plenty of samples that have been knit up. One of the employees, Carolyn, was also there and both we're excited to see my current knitting projects and share ideas on different yarns and designers. They have yarns for every type of knitter: 100% silk lace weight, all the way to ultra chunky yarn to knit in #100 needles. Such a selection! They have yarn for every budget: affordable acrylic blends to luxury quivut and baby alpaca. In so many colors! I had a hard time making up my mind. What a great shop experience! I made some new friends and got to see so many new yarns. I will definitely come back next time I am in town. I wish I lived closer! read more

My first visit to Knit on Pearl today. A beautifull selection of unique yarn for a small town shop. They definitely maximize their space. I couldn't decide what to get, so I bought yarn for a couple of projects for myself and my sister bought yarn for me to make her a poncho (one of their designs and patterns). The ladies could not have been more friendly and helpful. I can't believe I haven't checked them out before. I highly recommend for locals and if you are visiting. I will be back! read more
