Super fun souvenir shop! I loved seeing the creative taxidermy!! They also had your more standard souvenirs like shirts, sweatshirts, cups, magnets, etc. They also had huckleberry jam. Great stop if you're in Jackson and looking for something to take home. read more

This was a fantastic little store to visit. There are a lot of different kinds of items in here, so you'll probably be able to find a souvenir, no matter the kind you are looking for. From clothing, to blankets and tchotchkes, plus food... Seriously, this place has a lot. There is so much to see in here, you might spend more time than you thought you would! We were looking for magnets and didn't see any we liked, even though there were quite a few to choose from. I will say that things are quite expensive in here. But I understand why, I too live in a tourist town, so it's not that big of a deal. read more

Found more huckleberry jam here, except the berries are wild here and from Wyoming state. The bear jars are definitely cute for a gift idea. The jam here is like a dark purple grape color. Each time I see the jam or preserve, it makes me want to try it on something immediately. The jars are $12.99 here. The $9 jar from the small Italian store back in Montana was slightly cheaper, but we should do a side by side comparison to see which is better. The huckleberry jam fell Wyoming or the huckleberry preserve from Montana. We shall see. read more

What a beautiful store with unique finds and great collectibles! They welcomed my fur baby in and I couldn't be happier. The associates at the front desk were the kindest and I really appreciate kindness shared between people. They have trinkets, magnets, a huge collection of rare mugs that I couldn't find in any other store nearby, great prices on clothing and some really unique finds like a measuring spoon set that I bought that had a bear printed on each of the spoons. I had to purchase that for the chef in me. I wish I'd come to this store first as I'd already purchased a few items from another store nearby but I was glad to be taking more souvenirs home especially from this store. This place is a MUST visit when you're in Jackson Hole. It should be on your to-do list now! read more

Higher quality t-shirts and hoodies compared to some of the other stores. There is no Port Authority wear in here. They also have ton of other nick nack and local themed souvenirs. The most interesting thing is all the taxidermy. While I am not sure of the source, they are well done. There was a lady who walked in and then walk straight out saying it was the "death store" with all of the animals. What did I learn today? Taxidermy is expensive. read more

Hubby and I stopped by for souvenirs. This store has lots of items from souvenirs to wearables to local food, and even handmade jewelry by local artisans. Keep in mind that this mercantile is in the middle of the tourist Mecca that is Jackson Hole, so the prices are pretty high. read more

Neat cooler and Wyoming pin We just returned from an awesome family vacation in and around Wyoming. We visited the Jackson Town Square for a little shopping. We stopped into the Jackson Mercantile. They have a wide supply of awesome souvenirs - pins, magnets, postcards, coffee mugs, etc. We picked up an insulated thermos/cooler/water bottle for a friend and a Wyoming flag lapel pin for me. I stopped in to this shop to find some small souvenirs while visiting JH. This place is really cool! They have tons of gift options including all the Jackson Hole clothing you could ever want, stickers, postcards, huckleberry everything, books, kid's toys, and oh yeah - plenty of amazing taxidermy! The taxidermy is really what I came to see, and it was better than anything I could have dreamed of. The raccoons in the canoe, moose, grizzly bear, squirrels everywhere, etc. - I loved it. It's not for everyone, but I thought it was really cool to see, and some of the pieces were hilarious. (Raccoons in a canoe?!) I ended up buying a few small gifts, including a really cool geometric sticker of a bear and coyote. I would definitely stop in here again for more photo ops and gift ideas! read more

Fantastic selection for this mom, who was given very specific directions on what to bring home for her children. The moose outside plus the awesome wreath of elk antlers were the initial draw, but the taxidermy selection just inside the door was what held my attention. There was a full size bear, myriad mounted heads on the wall and a grouping of squirrels in various interesting scenarios (canoeing, dressed up like a hunter, etc). In a more expensive town, the prices are really reasonable, which I appreciate. There's also buffalo teeth charms, which I am kicking myself for not buying, and a selection of decorative hatchets and dream catchers that I loved. Vegans will most likely be offended, but being a cowgirl at heart, I loved everything about this store. read more

I visited this store in June of 2004 and was amazed at the variety of animals on display, including the elusive JACKALOPE, always a wanted treasure in Texas! Mine has TWO together, as a couple! Their merchandise is displayed so well! Their service was impeccable...very helpful, great packing and protection for the trip. I'd gladly buy from them again. They did have the best selection on the square or area! I was quite impressed. read more

Kind of a trip to see that many dead animals...that didn't even come from here. A little disconcerting to have stuffed chipmunks or squirrels with little plastic guns in their hands. Who's buying this stuff? Anyway, they did have the usual/ requisite touristy stuff, and I'm most happy with my new Jackson Hole moose socks, that seemed quite salty ($11?) but they are really comfie socks, so ok. They also had some fun little huckleberry flavored items, stickers, postcards, sweaters and the like. Worth popping in if you're cruising the downtown shops. read more

I absolutely love this store! They have the cutest selection of Jackson Hole knick knacks. They have a large selection of local books and glassware too! Lots of taxidermy animals to look out as well. They have T-shirts for adults and kids but those are a little pricey. They have a large moose and a bear for photo ops! Lots of horns: elk, moose, deer for sale. Magnets and ornaments plus picture frames! Don't cut yourself short walk 1/2 a block off the square and go here! read more

One of several shops that offered taxidermy for sale- harder to find then you might think- and wife and I have looked in cities from Portland to Sun Valley to Taos, New Mexico. No lack of choice at this joint: bears, deer, badgers, what ever you want in taxidermy- they got it. Also, they ship world wide. Truly a remarkable selection and the prices were fair. I actually asked them "Where do you get this stuff?" and the clerk said "auctions." So there you go. Located below the Snake River Grill and the Candy Shoppe. read more

Wow this store has a lot of cool souvenirs. While I'm against killing animals to put in your home as decor, the quality of items they had were great, but their merchandise was very expensive. It was still interesting to see all of what they had. read more
