OPENLY HATES TRUMP SUPPORTERS! This business condones the abuse of Trump supporters. On 9/6/19, I witnessed first hand as a young women, who is an employee of this store, accost an older lady who was wearing a Trump lapel pin. The employee said to this little old lady "Trump puts children in Jail", the lady was confused and didn't even understand how utterly inappropriate this was, nor did the lady realize that this despicable young creature was an employee. As if it was not good enough to insult the older lady the first time, and just to make sure she drove her point home, the vile employee repeated the remark yet again, along with another that was beyond inappropriate. I spoke up on the elderly lady's behalf to defend her and told the young woman I wanted to speak to the manager about her remarks and how out of line she was, her response was flip and smacked of utter disregard for differing viewpoints...she said "I am the owners wife and he agrees with me, so it doesn't matter". I then asked to speak with the owner, he refused to apologize to the older lady and he indeed backed up his employee (denying the employee was his wife), so we just walked out, he then followed us out to the sidewalk, I refused to speak with him...nobody, absolutely nobody, on the right or the left, has the right to treat people like this establishment does, it is condoning intolerance, it is a matter of civility and cannot be justified. We will be following up with the Wyoming GOP and other political leaders as well as multiple other social media outlets to let all know how strongly this store disrespects anyone who happens to support president Trump. This type of behavior is appalling and is supported by the owner, it has no place in civil society. Had roles been reversed and someone accosted a patron of a business who was wearing a pin in support of the left, I would have done the exact same thing. This is highly offensive behavior no matter what side of the political spectrum you are on. It is breathtaking to me that the owner did not understand this simple concept. Harassing the elderly is not cool!!! read more
