Well, my wife has recently taken up knitting and has decided to carry on the tradition. My family and I were on vacation in Ketchum over the Christmas holiday and were looking to purchase some yarn for knitting. Thankfully we found Sun Valley Needle Arts, and it did not disappoint. From the outside the store seems like it's going to be very small, but don't be deceived, there was much more room inside than I had thought. And you know what more room means, more selection! For a store this size I thought they were going to be limited on selection, but they were not limited at all! They had plenty of yarn, they had plenty of knitting supplies, plenty of crochete supplies, and plenty of cross-stitch supplies. There was even an entire room in the back of the store with even MORE selection! The best part about the store though were the ladies working there (in all honesty some of them may have just been there visiting). But they were all EXTREMELY helpful. They were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They answered all of our questions, and took the time to have a brief conversation with all of us. My wife eventually settled on some locally dyed yarn to make something. As I said, they had a good selection and we were able to really find something that my wife loved. And the best part, everything was really reasonably priced. We all commented how we wished we had more time in the area, we would have just come by and hung out, and done some knitting.
