The hotel itself is clean and airy, with a spacious lobby and sitting areas. The room is comfortable and adequately appointed with a relatively roomy bathroom. No more mini bottles of shampoo, however - just large containers of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash mounted on the tub/shower wall. The hotel has a bistro so you can hibernate if you wish and order breakfast and dinner, though there are plenty of dining options nearby. Staff was pleasant and competent.

Check-in was a breeze. We were there with another family who checked in after us. The front desk asked if we'd like conjoining rooms and it turned an already pretty impressive suite into a two room penthouse! We did encounter a minor issue. The bathroom door was locked from the inside upon checking into our room. I called the front desk and I kid you not, less than 3 minutes later someone was there with the key. The free breakfast was an added perk that we thoroughly enjoyed. They had a really great spread of omelets, waffles, cereal, bagels, etc. Everything was really fresh. The best part was the swimming pool and hot tub. Immaculately clean. We wished we could have extended our stay due to all the fun we were having Overall this hotel is a fast favorite in our family. I highly recommend for a clean, quiet, and delicious stay!

The staff here seemed extra attentive and responsive, most notably re-housing me when the initial assigned room was too close to noisy ventilation areas for my comfort. It appeared that they had a regular routine of walking the premises and staying alert to any challenges. The railroad/long style of the single room was a bit larger than I needed, but okay in general. An included couch was an unexpected bonus and especially enjoyable for my cat who was traveling with me.

I was told the manager, Jeremy Brown, was not in that morning. I called him the next day. He agreed to refund half the charge, or $90, but said I had to arrange it with Booking.com. I asked for a credit on booking.com. They refused to provide it bc they said manager Jeremy Brown did not return several phone calls confirming he agreed to the refund, and added that booking.com has a no-refund policy. so the service is lousy/disruptive and the manager is not responsive to complaints.

The upstairs suite doesn't have any kind of a kitchen, though there's a mini-fridge and I believe a microwave, so dishes are bussed out as you use them; don't plan on doing any food prep on your own. The hostess brought breakfast to the room (there's not a common dining room like most B&Bs) and pointed out the local ingredients including eggs from her chickens and vegetables from the garden. This is a real working mini-farm and it's fun to stroll the grounds and see what is going on.
