I was in the market to buy a home and called Francine more than a half dozen times about several…read moredifferent properties. Each time I called I told her who I was, that I was pre-qualified for a conventional loan and had a down-payment in hand. Each and every time she would skirt around showing me the property, often times citing that there was a "potential cash offer" ...so there was not one yet, but she thought there would be so she would not schedule a viewing with me. At one point she scheduled one, for a week later, and when I texted to ask what time I should meet her she acted like she had no clue who I was and then when I told her she followed up by saying the same thing...there was a possible offer coming so there was no need to show me the house. This happened literally five different times. I finally started calling other realtors to have them show me her listings. I had anticipated offering a higher amount for a house, specifically 10k over asking, was told there was a cash offer coming for over asking, and when I saw it sold, it sold for 10k less than asking. Those sellers missed out on 20k simply because she wouldn't show the house. I can only assume this is because the paperwork is less for her if it's cash and she doesn't make any more money if the house sells for less or more. My parents had a cash offer they were trying to make on a retirement property she had listed, she told them there was a well inspection that needed to be done and she would call them the following week. She never called them and then when my mom finally called her, Francine was very rude and short with her and told her there might be another cash offer. My mom said she was so rude to her that she was completely turned off by the idea of even buying from her. I asked a few buyers around town about their experiences and found that is the typical consensus in town and while non of the other realtors ever spoke badly of her outright, as they were all very professional (also, all of them were kind and remembered me even though they got nothing from showing houses to me other than helping their clients to get as many offers as possible...which is what you want as a seller), it was very clear that her reputation precedes her and that she has shady business practices and has worked for a dozen different realtor companies in the past decade. I absolutely would stay away from Assist 2 Sell. If you're a seller, you are being robbed of an opportunity to get the most for your property and if you're a buyer you might as well have 100k cash to put up front or she will give you the run around and treat you poorly. It's also note worthy that when I tried to express this on the Facebook page my comments were deleted and I was blocked from making a review. She blocks and deletes any negatice comments that make the her look bad and thats not honest business, that is shady and the very opposite of an honest realtor. She is not a good choice for your home buying/selling experience. I attached photos of the comment that she deleted so no one would see an honest remark about her business practices.

I have been working to purchase a house in my area. It hasn't been easy with this economy, no fault…read moreof their own. But the Realtor Larry Machalk could stand to speak with his customers with more respect when they inquire about an issue. Interruptions and talking down on them like the are stupid when conversing is not good for business. When finally getting to the point of making the purchase he rushed us, and spoke with an impatient tone. Purchasing a house is not an easy decision when you throw around that much money. I hated the fact that I felt like we were bothering him. We have been nothing but pleasant, although there were times I wish I wasn't. Other employees were always kind to us the little we did interact with them. Broadway is a fine place to do business with but I would avoid that particular realtor.
