I did ask the girls at the counter if they were offering the special, and they enthusiastically said yes! The free cookies are 2 thin chocolate chip cookies, sprinkled with sea salt. They were soft and chewy, very delicious. Aside from receiving the free cookies I did also purchase the 2 layer coconut cookie. It looked beautiful, and I love coconut! The Oakland location was small, offering a weekly rotating menu consisting of large and mini cookies, cakes, and pies. This week, Crumbl is collaborating with Martha Stewart with a limited-edition dessert collection to celebrate the relaunch of her first book. People were steadily coming in and being taken care of in a timely manner. Along with his free Martha Stewart's chocolate chip cookie thins, my son also placed an order for a pumpkin sheet cake. I received my free cookies afterwards, but I had to take them home to heat up a little because they were cold. The cookie was chewy with a mixture of spices exploding in my mouth with every bite.
