Our 2 hour couples massage went from $310, because the front desk guy kept upselling us, like coming into the massage rooms during the massage, which is absolutely insane. For one, it's creepy, it made me feel extremely uncomfortable, I always request women masseuses because I was molested by a male masseuse at age 14. For two, it's predatory. People in a relaxed state are more prone to agreement, which I've seen actual legal contracts be voided for. We also were not given pricing for this ridiculous add ons, and we were not warned of the effects of cupping. We have bruises up and down our backs. Anyways our massage was $200 more than we agreed to during the initial booking at the front desk. Can't recommend this place in good conscience. I will likely be doing a chargeback or filing a dispute or a complaint with the licensing board. Massage rooms should be a safe place. These are not.

A professional masseuse alongside a robot performs various massage techniques. My husband enjoyed the robot portion of the program. I preferred a human being massaging me. Treatments included: 20 minute sauna, deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, red light treatment, and then a groovy machine that gently massages, using air. Robot Massage is all the rage in Asia so if you're interested in it, definitely try it you can regulate how deep you want the massage or specify the areas. Again, use your words and always cash tip. These people work very hard.

I felt relaxed at the end, but definitely could have used more communication and personalization. After laying down in the massage room, a couple people entered the room. One was my therapist, and I inferred that the other was configuring the machine, which took at least 5 min. I wasn't asked about areas to focus on or avoid, but once it began, the therapist provided a decent massage that did relieve most of my soreness. The therapist worked alongside the AI massage arm for the first half, which was nice, and the last 30 minutes was just the massage arm. Despite the promise of personalization online, the AI massage really just felt like a nice warm ball rolling on my back in a preset pattern. It was the same level of effectiveness as a standard massage chair, and due to the minimal stimulation and robot sounds, I would've preferred just moving on after 10 min. The red light recovery was pretty odd to me, as I wasn't aware this would be a full-on heated sauna pod and wasn't advised to take off my Fitbit. I was booked for the wrong service via phone call, and the team accommodated nicely, so it's possible this experience was just a reflection of a quick scramble. The team was very friendly, and water was provided.

At some point another worker opened our room door to see if the room was available and I do wonder if the other person waiting for a massage got a full moon from me. The massage therapist also play music in their rooms, separately. So if the person in the room next to you had music going it's two of the same or different tunes just clashing. I don't mind that the massage therapist didn't really speak too much English but just the Swedish massage I received was probably one of the weirdest ones yet. I know no two massages are the same but I wonder if the people at this location are licensed? Massage seekers definitely be aware. I left a little more tense than I arrived I think, and my neck is a lot low sore than it would be after a typical Swedish massage. It was not the relaxing massage experience I was hoping for, and yet, I still tipped.
