Very disappointing experience…read more I paid for a 30-minute massage for $40 and only got about 20 minutes. As soon as it ended, they immediately asked for a tip at the door. I was planning to leave a small one out of courtesy, but when it apparently wasn't enough, the lady laughed and said "Never mind, no tip," which was uncomfortable and unprofessional. The place itself was also not great. It's a house in a neighborhood with unfinished rooms, open ceilings, and holes in the walls. The massage bed was very uncomfortable and the overall environment did not feel relaxing at all. Between the shortened service, awkward interaction, and poor condition of the space, I left feeling disappointed. I wouldn't come back or recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent massage.

Massage itself was okay, nothing special, not customized, same massage to everyone. Probably never again.

Every session leaves me feeling completely relaxed and revitalized. Whomever you book with here, you can't really go wrong, honestly I can't go anywhere else now as it just doesn't compare. Quality: 4 Value: 4 Service: 5 Ambience: 4 The unique feature is that you can get a range of "gentle" Swedish-style hand-focused massages, to "intense" "Asian"-style massages that include the masseuse kneeling and/or walking on your back. It was interesting - my masseuse actually seemed much more effective and precise using their feet/toes than their hands! Pricing (as of 2019 October) was as follows: $40 plus tip for 30 minutes $50 plus tip for 60 minutes $60 plus tip for 90 minutes ~$10 each for adding on another masseuse, scented oils, heat, etc. Interestingly, you pay before the massage, and then tip afterward, much like Gentle Massage across the street (which seems to offer almost identical services). Additionally, you can hear new clients enter and leave, and the masseuse left the room a couple times if needed to check somebody in, or grab a hot towel, etc. This place also offers a free shower after each massage, but I am unsure if it is a table shower (where you get scrubbed down) like Gentle Massage offers, or just a basic shower-yourself-off situation.

They really know how to apply deep pressure and are excellent at finding and working through stubborn knots. What I appreciate most is that they always check in during the massage to make sure the pressure is okay and adjust as needed, which shows they genuinely care about your comfort and experience. They are very attentive throughout the session--offering water, making sure we're comfortable, and staying focused on problem areas rather than rushing through the massage. You can tell they listen to what your body needs and take their time working out tight muscles. After every visit, we feel noticeably better, looser, and more relaxed, with a huge difference in how our neck, shoulders, and back feel. The room itself is simple and looks fine--nothing overly fancy--but the quality of the massage is what really matters to me. I'd rather have an amazing, strong massage than a luxury room with mediocre work, and this place delivers every time. That's why I always come back. If you're looking for therapists who are strong, experienced, and truly effective at relieving knots and tension, Just Relax Massage is a great choice.

My stress and anxiety manifests most in my neck/shoulder area and hips. I could not believe how tense I've been because I felt like a new person walking out. Definitely on the list of some of the best massages I've gotten thus far because he was doing things I've never experienced before, and the hot stones were used much more than other places I've been. He was checking in on me asking how the pressure was and would be quick to fix it if I wanted it more or less. I had to knock a star though because I wish hands and feet got a little more love. I do feel like my feet were neglected most since I'm on my feet for a lot of my full time job, so I wanted some TLC and didn't get too much of it. I'd come here again and again if I were in this area, but alas, I was visiting a friend over the weekend. If I'm back, I'm going to Larry and you should too. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. She's so good that at one point I was going to her weekly just to release all the stress I'd build up in my body over the week. Times back then were really stressful for me. I remember going on my lunch hour when she was working down the street from my office. I remember those good o' days. I wish she still had her shop down the street, then I would go so much more often. Now she's moved to a shop down the way from the Arden Mall, if you know the area she's closer to the Nordstrom Rack, a few streets behind them. This new location isn't so convienent for me anymore, but I have to love it as it has fabulous parking. They have there own private lot so there is always spaces available. The building is new and fresh. They recently got all new floors and benches so it's even more freshened up now. Baanpo Thai Massage will be moving down the hall to an even bigger space soon. You're going to love it as it's so much more spacious then there currently location a few feet away. Here is their description of the Thai Herbal Ball Massage : For centuries, the people of Thailand have used herbs such as zingiber, lemongrass, caffer-lime, pommelo peel, tanaka, turmeric ect. to accelerate healing of the body. These herbal balls are streamed to release the herbs healing properties and the heat is used to relax tight muscles. The warm herbal balls are excellent at releasing tired sore muscles, increasing blood flow, detoxifying, and relaxing the body. This treatment is used in combination with traditional Thai massage to work on specific parts of your body that need special attention for muscular tightness or pain The Herbs aren't overpowering and I could smell the faint whiff of lemongrass. If you are more up naming your scents you probably could smell them all. My noes is just too immature for that. The massage started out with a Thai Massage to relax the muscles then she went into the Thai Herbal Ball Massage (a traditional Thai healing treatment that involves pressing steamed muslin compresses--packed with aromatic and therapeutic herbs--along the body's muscles and energy lines.) and ended with stretching. It was very relaxing and I enjoyed the massage a lot. I always forget how much I love the Thai Herbal Ball Massage and usually get the Thai Combo Massage. A Thai Combo Massage is half Thai massage and half Swedish massage. It's also very good, but totally different. I also love the hot stone massage. I used to get that all the time in the cooler months. I'd love to get one now, but I worry about them getting too hot giving it as it's so hot outside. Though the room and building have air conditioning so it's never too hot inside and it's always the perfect temperature. Tammy did a great job on my Thai Herbal Ball Massage and I highly recommend her and the Thai Herbal Ball Massage.
