They didn't have longer bolts either and recommended I go to Al's Supply House. They were very sure Al's would have the correct bolt. And they did! On several different occasions while I was in trying to solve a plumbing issue, different staff offered and was able to help (although since I'm a guy, I never asked for help - cause I know it all). After a brief interchanged, it was obvious they knew what they were talking about, and even taught me a thing or two. I had been there so often over the course of a couple of days - they recognized me. Sad, I know. The other cool thing is, this Home Depot is on 1st Nation land, so those with a Canadian Status Card don't pay taxes. Every little thing helps ;-)
