It's a Home Depot, which means they have a wide selection of stuff you need, even if you don't know it. What I like about this Home Depot is its knowledge staff. On several different occasions while I was in trying to solve a plumbing issue, different staff offered and was able to help (although since I'm a guy, I never asked for help - cause I know it all). After a brief interchanged, it was obvious they knew what they were talking about, and even taught me a thing or two. I had been there so often over the course of a couple of days - they recognized me. Sad, I know. The other cool thing is, this Home Depot is on 1st Nation land, so those with a Canadian Status Card don't pay taxes. Every little thing helps ;-) read more

Home Depot - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Chilliwack, British Columbia

if Home Depot decides to change their appliance, ensure we would reconsider the star rating, but because they have chosen square trade by All-Star insurance company of Canada neglectful they are in treating us for our misfortune and how they left us stranded during the holiday season they receive one star. read more

I ordered a new stacking washer/dryer from the Chilliwack store. I specified that I wanted installation included. It was delivered Tuesday afternoon. After the delivery guys told me that the installation was complete and left, I found that the drain hose for the condensing dryer had not been attached. I phoned the store at 3:26. I got a call back at 4:36. She said that she would check into it. I phoned again at 11am on Wednesday and was told basically the same thing. I received a call from a male around 5 pm. He told me that I should get a "plumber" to hook it up. He tried to claim that the store had no responsibility. He did not get vary far with that. He said that he would call today (Thursday). I just checked my voicemail again. No call. More senior abuse. read more

They do vertical and horizontal cuts to wood. This is useful because I don't have xbars on my SUV roof rack and am limited to the length of wood that can fit into my SUV. I'd give five stars but I've experienced a little bit of innocent unintentional sexism. My teenage son and I went in to for 4x4 landscape ties (for a three layer landscape garden bed I planned and was building) and when I had to ask if they had anymore 6ft(that's the max length that would fit in my SUV & they didn't have enough out on the pallet) the male employee asked my son if he needed them for a project for school. :D (I guess I don't look like a female that knows how to build or fix things so I didn't take offence). It's kinda become an inside joke between my kids and I. read more

although the Home Depot almost always has what I'm looking for..... rarely can I find a employee to help me. it's never "their section". trying to get someone that has the ok to cut a piece of drywall took almost half an hour. They are constantly passing the buck because the majority of them have no knowledge of inventory in their section. read more

The staff are knowledgeable and go out of their way to help. Great place to shop. ( and I usually hate shopping ) Thanks, Darlene read more

The employees are useless. I had a simple question about window screens. While asking for help one employee walked past me without even looking at me and another told me to wait for the employee in charge of the section to come back from his break. Thanks for nothing. read more

Rigid palm nailer. Building a coach house and to ease the thousands of 2.1/2 inch nails for the sheaving/ flooring and roof this tool was excellent/ fast and comfortable to use. I put the starter nails in and our son followed with the nailer. You don't need to start with a hammer it was just easier for me to do the spacing between centers. I don't usually write feedbacks but this tool deserved it. read more
