I had kids and started a business and took about 15 years off of golf. Like everyone else, I got back into golf during the pandemic. I felt like I was starting over. After a few months of scores over 100 I decided to seek out golf lessons. Steve came highly recommended by a friend. I had watched every youtube video on the web about getting rid of my slice and gave each tip an honest try. Steve taught me to focus on being relaxed and keeping a nice tempo. He also showed me how completing the rotation of my shoulders in my follow through automatically squared up my clubface at impact. In my 2nd lesson I was able to hit some of my iron shots pure. By my third lesson they were going longer and my swing felt so smooth and effortless. I started regularly shooting rounds in the low 90's on the hardest courses in the area. By lesson 6 I started to be able to regularly hit a draw on my driver with a slight inside out path, keeping my balance, and getting that club face closed with my shoulders on the follow through. I have now had 8 lessons and I am shooting in the high 80's on hard courses pretty regularly. Now pretty much every time I am out someone stops me and tells me how great and effortless my swing looks. It was kind of a cold day, foggy, but was beautiful on the course and luckily warmed up throughout the lesson. U can park then make ur way to the range which is the walk way in front of parking lots. Sean is so nice and friendly and makes u feel great even when the ball goes awry. He helped me correct my swing so I'm rotating and using my whole torso/body instead of just my arms. Ian is the real deal - he fits his teaching perfectly between technical analysis and feel. He doesn't overwhelm with things like "oh your face is 2* open at impact" or "7500 rpms is too spinny for a 6 iron lets fix that" I would get from some other coach. I have went from shooting ~130 per round to getting my first handicap at 30.5 to getting my current handicap to 18.7 to signing up for my first tournament in 14 months. I have taken 9 lessons over these 13 months and he has built my swing from nothing to where it is today. I know that my velocity of improvement has everything to do with his teaching. We started the trip with what I can say was a can't be beat resort stay here. We each had our own king rooms that honestly almost made me hate my own home. From the start of the stay pulling up to the security gate and getting greeted with so much energy and friendliness then being handed a rosemary bag to bring you into the mood. Immediately I knew I would love this place. The valets were great. The lobby staff were great. I was at the resort for two days and I swear I never touched a door to open. My room was ready early which was a bonus and the room. Again just great. Spacious. Ultra clean. All the amenities you could want. Fridge bar area. Fireplace. Sliding double doors to a private patio overlooking a fantastic golf course. Giant bathroom with separate soaking tub that was divine. I could review the golf all by itself. Super nice caddy Jack who it was a pleasure to spend the day working alongside and perfect weather because it can certainly get hot out there. We had a catered private lunch and then we had dinner in the bar area and everything was, you guess it, perfect. I will be back it's just a matter of when.

Luckily my friend has the really low ones and she brought those. Much to our surprise they did not have any chairs on the grass set up at all - which was completely different than what's written on the website. So it was a good thing my friend brought hers. May be a good idea to update the info on the website so people coming to see shows here are aware of what to expect and come prepared. Thank you

It was the perfect spot for our group, not too hot, not too cold, with a light breeze coming through. The views were lovely and the freedom to roam onto the courtyard patio was a plus! The Event Coordinator, Miranda, was a pleasure to work with. She was flexible, accommodating, and clear with all arrangements. The ease of having everything done in-house was absolutely wonderful for me. I just showed up two hours before start-time with some decorations and favors, and everything else was already set-up and ready for me. The service was stellar... everyone knew the bartender's name by the end of the night (thank you Elliot for taking care of us) and everyone raved about the food. It was not only delicious, but aesthetically pleasing and plentiful. Everyone in attendance (and even those who missed out) are still talking about the event. The door was broken for years and finally fixed but the bathroom always super dirty by 10am, no one cleaning and constant no toilet paper or rolling on the floor or not flushing smooth. This is the only restroom by Valley as clubhouse is far, it should be remodeled and pls put a big trash can inside so not all papers on the floor!!!!!!!

Early on, I would see Edison every 2-3 weeks, and even to this day, the videos, data, drills, and explanations from those lessons have stuck with me. What I appreciate most is that Edison doesn't just tell you what to change. He takes the time to understand your swing tendencies, uses technology and data to show you what's happening, and most importantly, explains WHY you're missing the way you are. That has been huge for me. Instead of constantly searching for random swing fixes, I've learned how to understand my own swing and diagnose what I'm doing when something goes wrong. I can actually take that knowledge onto the course and make adjustments during a round. I've come a long way since starting. I broke 100 within my first eight months of playing, my scores continue to come down, and now I'm working toward breaking 90. As I've become more established as a golfer, I still go back to Edison every month or so for maintenance, small adjustments, and to make sure I'm continuing in the right direction. In an effort to hit more fairways and lower my handicap, I had unknowingly shortened my swing, which was costing me distance.
