Easy, fast, no nonsense. Close to home. Steady stream of customers on a saturday but still only a 5-minute wait.

I found their internet coupon and spoke to them on the phone to confirm the true cost. They charged me exactly as quoted on the phone including the certificate fee -$49 for a 2003 V8, no appointment needed. They also would have re-tested for free had the car not passed. Their service was quick with just one person ahead of me. They have a pleasant waiting area. Their adept and kind office manager was great. She had the paperwork done as soon as the testing was complete. I especially liked that the mechanic was paying attention to what was happening around him even while he monitored testing - neither I nor the office manager had to tell him where my car was parked - he had noticed when I walked in, picked up the my key from the clipboard and went directly to it. It was intermittently sprinkling while I was there and the mechanic pulled the car under the carport so I would not get wet when it was ready. Their location is freeway close, easy to access and has roomy parking. I will be a repeat customer. read more

Jim was awesome. I handed him my DMV paperwork and my $10 off coupon for the smog check and by the time I got a drink and a snack at 7-11 he was done! The paperwork sent to the DMV and all I have to do is pay my renewal online! Total cost was $49 for approximately 15 mins! read more

Apparently they let the surly guy go due to complaints (although he was fine with me). The service is even better now. Very courteous and helpful. read more

They don't take appointments so I called ahead first thing in the morning, and went right over when Joe said no one else was there yet. Of course there was no guarantee that someone wouldn't show up before I arrived 5 minutes later, but I was lucky. With that, the Smog Check was complete in about 15 minutes. AAA discount applied, and I was back in the now-certified car and on my way home. Joe even parked the car in the shade when he was done with it! Great service! read more

Purchased a new old truck on the weekend which i needed to smog , got the smog done in 20 minutes and they give AAA members a break

I highly recommend coming here if you need a smog check! This guy is straightforward and tells you what he thinks, but he's super friendly. I bought a car not long ago and needed a smog - turns out it's a lemon. Jim looked at it after it failed the smog, laughed (you gotta deal with his honesty), but explained to me why it failed and had some good suggestions what my options were. I came back for a re-check and he, again, was super friendly and helpful. He works really fast and I never had to wait very long! read more

I dread having to go places that have to do anything with cars, but I didn't mind thing place at all. Located right off the freeway, flexible hours, zero pressure, zero nonsense, best of all ONLY ten minutes of my time from drive in to drive out. Highly recommended. read more

Mechanic, James, scratched my car door against their brick wall! Confronted him about it and how he was going to handle it and he verbally assaulted me with racial remarks and physically shoved me and told me to leave. I got a refund, however the attack and unaccountability on the mechanics part are inexcusable. Do not go here! read more

Thanks for the tip, Alida! Jim totally rocks! INTEGRITY!

Took my Mazda for a smog test. While waiting I noticed 3 people coming back for retesting. For the first time ever my car failed the smog test due to a timing issue. Took the car to a car repair garage and found there was nothing wrong with my car. I was told that the smog tester made a mistake. That mistake cost me $120 and wasted 2 days of time. Don't waste your time and money with KM Smog! read more

FAST (easy drive in & he never wasted a minute) - FRIENDLY (chatted the whole time & was VERY pleasant) - made my out of state smog check a breeze!! Thanks - read more

I've been bringing cars to KM for the past 10 years, and there's no better place to get in and get out with your smog certificate. The old couch is gone, replaced by new chairs, a little kids play area and a magazine rack with current mags. Right next to 7-11 for easy access to treats. Great service and a convenient location... what could be better? read more

Great basic fast service. Show the coupon from the company website. Compared to average cost at other smog check stations, it's about $20 less expensive. Nice straight forward guy working there. However he is the only one, so they do one car at a time. I recommend going when they open at 8. read more

I had to get the SMOG Test for DMV registration renewal. Great and professional service. The guy was so thorough, and warned me about the possibility of rats warning up in the engine. less than 20 minutes and I was out with the certificate. look for the 10$ online coupon. Highly recommended read more

I have taken my 3 or 4 vehicles here. Jim is funny and fast. He is knowedgeable and will do anything he can to make your pass if it is in his power. Ask for the $10 off coupon and voila you get $10 off. Great Service. I recommend this smog center to anyone. read more

Great and friendly service! Don't forget to mention if you have AAA, it will get you a $10 discount.

Have been going here for years to support local small businesses and they have never disappointed.

wow. don't go there if it's after hours. (4:30 pm) the nasty man at the adjoining gas station was no help at all. cut me off when I started to ask questions about the smog station. won't go there! read more

Just had a terrible experience. Avoid this place at all costs. I arrived at 8:30 am because they supposedly open at 8:00 am. I had even called the day before and they told me the best time to go was at 8:00 because it is the least busy. When I got there today I was surprised that they were closed. A few minutes later a guy in a Harley arrives and looks at me as if I was in his way. I ask him if he was the owner and he said rudely that he just worked there. I asked him if they actually open at 8 and he said they did but that he lives far away and there is traffic so he usually gets there late. I asked him why don't they just say that when you call and he started getting defensive and aggressive to the point that he insulted me and actually physically threatened me when I told him he should wake up earlier if he knew he had to open at 8. He obviously did not like me saying that and went berserk. read more
