I visited Uptown this morning for a 9:30am relaxation facial. Ally was absolutely amazing! All of the gals in the office were so friendly & it looks like they offer a ton of services to make you feel like a million bucks! I will definitely be back! Thanks Ally & team!

After her passing, we found the massage certificates a week before they expired. When we called Autumn (the massage technician), explained the situation, and she stated that she had no openings for bookings in the remaining time for which the certificates were still valid. She also would not refund the 500.00 or extend the time in order to use the services that were purchased. I would rate zero stars if it were possible but the app will not allow.

I asked Selena if she had a solution & she said I could do fiber gel and she fixed me right up!! I was so happy I was able to get both hands & feet done at the same time. My nails look so beautiful and she did such a great job!! She was gentle and took her time, she's super sweet too!! The salon is very nice with a friendly vibe. I will definitely be back soon for my next appointment.

I have been going to Jenna regularly for my hair for about a year now and she always does a fantastic job! She is so personable, she truly listens to what I am wanting, and she explains everything. My appointment was at 9:45am. When I checked in, I was informed the system showed it as 10am and…read morethat my stylist would arrive at that time. They didn't give me any options, so I just sat and waited. It was 10:15 and still no sign of my stylist. This was the time I had planned to be ready by to change, do my makeup, and leave for my dance commitment at 10:30. I went up to the counter and asked if they could try to contact her to determine what to do. I never saw anyone make a call nor text, so I was still in the dark about what was going on. At 10:25 I finally came to terms with the fact that I was running out of time and my hair was probably not going to be pretty for my event. It wouldn't have been such a big deal, but there was going to be a photographer and I wanted to look nice. I went to my car to get my outfit and makeup bag. I changed in their restroom quickly, which has a door that does not close. The other restroom has been out of service for months. I came out at 10:30 and the stylist is finally there. She apologized and said she overslept. I agreed for her to curl my hair while I did my makeup. She did work quickly and managed to finish in 10 minutes. After all this, I asked if I could pay with the card on file out of politeness. I thought maybe they wouldn't charge me since they were 45 minutes late. No type of compensation nor way to rectify it was offered. This whole situation made me super frazzled and stressed out (not the best mindset before a dance performance). I used to love the convenience of getting my hair styled here, but I'll be looking for other options in the future. They really need to change/improve their system. Instead of having specific appointments assigned to hair stylists, they should have a first-come basis. It was so frustrating to see people that had later appointments than me being immediately seated and making me even more and more late.

The Coconut Exfoliating & Firming Body Treatment was just a seated/ slightly reclined body rub down with a scrub and warm towels to wipe it off. Not sure what was the firming part but I didn't see any results of that. I'm disappointed with my experience at Tranquility Nail Spa. I came in Wednesday for a shellac…read moremanicure, and the appointment felt very rushed. Unfortunately, I've felt this way during other visits too--it often seems focused on getting clients in and out quickly, and I don't feel the quality matches the price. The technician used a drill to remove my previous shellac. I specifically asked if it could damage my natural nails and was told no. After removal, however, I noticed a clear line across several nails where the texture and appearance changes. What frustrated me most was that by the very next day, my new shellac was already chipping and lifting on multiple nails. I called and they apologized and offered to redo them. I asked for a 50% refund instead because I was uncomfortable having them redone and felt that was fair considering the polish lasted less than 24 hours, but I was told they don't issue refunds. I returned to have the shellac removed and specifically requested no drill this time, so they soaked it off. They again offered to repaint my nails, which I appreciate, but I declined. Now I'm left with nails that feel thin and brittle, with a very noticeable line across the nail near the cuticle where the texture changes. I appreciate that they offered to correct the polish, but between the rushed appointment, shellac lifting within a day, and the condition of my natural nails afterward, I'm disappointed with the overall quality and won't be returning.
